Hi George. I found a spotify account called Field Recordings with your recordings on it. Is it yours? Is it possible you could upload your soundscapes to Spotify as well or is that not financially feasible? Because I have been looking for loopless, longform nature (specifically jungle/savannah type) recordings for year before I found your channel and cannot find any other channels that compare. I know they are available on Bandcamp, but I would love to be able to download them on Spotify since I use that service on various devices and its like ease of use in setting up custom playlists (I sound affiliated lol :( ). It would also mean I can listen to without leaving yt open. Love your excellent work and thank you for all your effort!
@@ToothpasteJuiceBox I sent Field Recordings a few of my soundscapes so they could play them as podcast episodes. I've looked at releasing my own content on there but it seems like there's a lot of red tape. I would have to sign up with a rights management group and to get royalties through them which seems backwards. For the moment I don't plan to release anything on Spotify but I'll have another look at this later in the year.
@@GeorgeVlad Hey! Thank you for responding. I had a feeling it would be something like that. I understand. I will keep an eye out and continue to listen the way I usually do. Have you considered developing your own app maybe?
@@ToothpasteJuiceBox I've considered that as well but I barely have time to edit my own recordings these days, let alone create an entire app. For the moment UA-cam, Soundcloud and Bandcamp are the only places I'm uploading recordings.
George, you are easily one of the best nature recordist in the world. I will wager it is becuase you so thoroughly know and love the landscapes your record. This particular recording is just one more in a line of trully amazing recordings. Thank you so much for sharing this with the world.
Absolutely beautiful. I love that the geography allows for more acoustic diversity. The layers of sounds are incredible and I have never heard a soundscape like this. It feels like art, an emotional and raw natural soundscape full of thriving wildlife untouched by the sound of humans.
My entire life I've been wanting to live in the hidden beautiful words of Indonesia and here I can listen and pretend like I'm going on a hike through dense green rainforest thankyou soo much
Sumatra is high on my list, hope I can visit later this year. Until I can get there it feel free to check out Marc Anderson's recordings: wildambience.com/wildlife-sounds/siamang/

Hey man you're great 👍, one thing have you ever recorded the Australian jungle or the outback sounds maybe, if so that will be great 😃😊
I have not but I'm going to do that in a couple of weeks actually.
Remarkable :) It's Interesting how this soundscape sounds like a mashup between an australian and a vietnamese rainforest
I will have to visit both to make sure that's the case.
Gran trabajo!
Gracias compa.
I Love IT 💚
Thank you, Susanne.
