@@RobinDrones It’s always our main port of call when we come to the uk. The Dales are equally stunning. You need to check then out as well. I showed you’re recent short to my wife and it made us both homesick.
Yes the dji mini 2 is my first drone, my first flight went well, these dji drone are super easy to fly. Great videos by the way I watched loads of your videos before getting my drone 😀
Nothing was showing on Drone assist at the time 👍 Also, it's not illegal to fly in an SSSI, but it is illegal if you disturb wildlife in a SSSI. So I fly with caution 👍
Have you had any gimbal lurch issues even in normal or cine mode? I'm still flying with my original Mavic Pro and looking at the Mini 2 SE as my next purchase. Thank you.
Yes I have but only during Auto landing when the drone comes to a stop while I have the gimbal down, it will flick up, but it's never done it while flying apart from sport mode.
I heard on another channel there have been complaints that the 2se gimbal sometimes moves to the down position when flying in windy conditions or in sport mode. Have you ever experienced this with your 2se? I enjoy your channel.
I don't think I've had it kicked down. But I have had it kick up while facing down, especially with sport mode. This normally happens when stopping fast while attempting to auto land. Its kind of annoying but I understand why it does it, flying from 35mph with a high angle of attack to a dead stop. 😳 Thanks for the compliment. Are you thinking of getting this drone?
I've only recently become interested in drones, mainly for aerial still & video footage. I've been doing some research and this drone (mini 2 se) comes up quite a lot (along with the mini 2) as being beginner friendly. I'm not looking to do anything fancy so would you recommend this to a novice (no experience of gaming controller) and have you had any issues (angry people/police etc) while using it in the UK? I think that I'd also be interested in using the auto functions such as circle etc. Have you any comment/experience on those functions. Cheers. Allan
Yes I would recommend the mini 2 se as its the cheapest proper good drone, I would advise against getting a cheaper non dji drone from Amazon. Dji drone are super easy to fly and are stable in the sky even over the wind threshold of 23mph! No I have not met any angry people or police, I've had a few people talk to me while flying, but they have all been friendly so far. If you click my UA-cam I have a full flight tutorial that will show you how easy it is to fly 😀
@@RobinDrones Thanks. I've subbed and seen your LTF video. Can't wait for #3. BTW, what's your view on the new(ish) CAA rule about having to know your drones orientation by LOS rather than instruments/camera?
I don't know how to stop it, but I can't see why you would want to? The Android mobile device needs on-going 500ma to maintain the USB connection to the dji rcn1
I wouldn't worry too much about it draining the controller will output only 500mah to the phone, and the battery in the controller is 5200mah. It will barely charge it while attached but should maintain your battery level in you phone.
Hi mate decided to order my self one of these and seen a few people saying these lose connection not far out.. how far can you take it from start point straight out the box (battery charged of course if needed) someone mentioned FSS or FCC?
The range on these using the rcn1 controller is great, I wouldn't worry about the signal as if you lose signal, the drone will return. Your biggest issue is not being able to see the drone. You'll lose sight long before you lose signal. Fcc mode is basically USA and a few others the signal is stronger, so it's good for 10km. CE mode is max 6km I think. Hope this helps
@@RobinDrones brilliant mate answered my comment perfectly thank you!! Will be checking rest of your videos out as I seen there’s a few 2 SEs, you too mate keep up the videos!!!
That "4K " in the title is a good click bait. Have you ever Upscaled 2.7K to 4K ? Does this conversion improve a moving image ? Is this useful for your video productions ?
Well, I shoot my camera footage at 4k, and the drone is set to the max 2.7k so I render my videos at 4k. I think upscaling improves the quality a tiny bit. My thinking is if people watch on a 4k TV it should default to 4k. Pc users with watch at 1440p or 1080p but some have 4k monitors. And mobile users will choose 1080p or 720p. Also I believe UA-cam gives you more bitrate if you upload in 4k 😉.
Just bought the DJI mini2 SE
Will be watching your videos from now on
Thank you for your comment 🙏. Have fun with the mini 2 se it's a great little drone! 😊
@@RobinDrones 1st flight today

Any tips on how to remove fingerprints from the camera? I dont want to damage it lol
I'd use a blower to first blow of anything that could scratch the lens, then I'd use isopropyl alcohol and wipe with a soft cloth.
whats that on the back of your drone
It's a strobe light, it's very light and bright 🌞

Yes, have been considering it. Thanks for reply.
Are you flying in a no fly zone at Fylingdales ?
This isn't an NFZ according to drone assist. It's a yellow zone indicating radio transmission interference, that's all. 👌
thanks @@RobinDrones
Do you do any editing with your footage and if so what do you use?
I don't edit the actual drone footage, I use vsdc to edit the clips together and add music ect..
