Thank you for an honest review. I have been wanting to try purple carrot but can't justify the cost, even with the first box discount. We're a family of 4. The cost is about $12.00 per meal x's 4 people...that's about the same cost as going out to a restaurant and I would still have to cook it and clean up the mess. I love the concept, but I can buy a lot of groceries for the cost of these meals. I've learned that you can go to the websites of most of the meal delivery services and print off the recipes. It's not as convenient, but it sure does save money.
I'm so glad you found this video then! We definitely still use these recipes that we received. The BLT was the best item we learned how to make. I think this is a good start for people who have no idea what they're doing! Thanks so much for the feedback.

Obviously your other half enjoys cooking. There's no way I would spend that kind of money and do all that work, I'd probably just eat the stuff in a salad. I don't like cooking so this isn't the way for me. Thanks for your review.
