Voodoo Circle is a German hard rock/heavy metal band founded in 2008, as a project of Silent Force guitarist Alex Beyrodt (currently also playing with bands Primal Fear and Sinner) who had the idea to re-think his personal vision of music, making songs more based on his early influences, such as Whitesnake, Yngwie Malmsteen, Deep Purple and Rainbow.[1] After the debut album called Alex Beyrodt's Voodoo Circle, the project became a collaborative band and currently is composed of Alex Beyrodt together with vocalist David Readman (Pink Cream 69), bassist Mat Sinner (Beyrodt's bandmate on bands Primal Fear, Sinner and Silent Force), keyboardist Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline, also Beyrodt's bandmate on Silent Force) and drummer Tim Husung. The band has gained some critical and commercial success with the 2011 album Broken Heart Syndrome. The last two Voodoo Circle albums are More Than One Way Home released in 2013 and Whisky Fingers released in 2015.[2]
+Nig6tWalker Don't know about a tribute band, but definitely huge Whitesnake influence.Although their first album sounds suspiciously like Joe Lynn Turner era Yngwie, including the solos. In fact, the solo in this song is Sykes to start with, then morphs into Yngwie after the keyboard solo.Liking it.
Ben Davella!! i know who is that guy,but in this band he is trying to copy John Sykes style because they comment some time ago that Voodo Circle is going to sound like old whitesnake
Alex Beyrodt - Guitars (2008-present) David Readman - Lead Vocals (2008-present) Mat Sinner - Bass/Producer (2008-present) Alessandro Del Vecchio - Keyboards (2013-present) Tim Husung - Drums (2014-present)
Alex kicks ass! Killer-Solo!! Freu mich trotzdem schon auf Voodoo Circle live on stage! C ya :)
You may be right, but funny how people see cover art or videos and immediately assume that it was the instrument used in the studio. Especially now days when guitarists have an arsenal of guitars to choose from... just saying...food for thought.
bit pozeur-ish but dig a bunch of old rockers rocking out so that makes up for it. I like the tune and agree that it has a sort of Syke's Whitesnake feel to it.
Love this! I’m an 80’s kid and this makes me feel like I’m still there! Trapped in the 80’s 🤘🏼
Never heard of these guys before but this is remarkably good! I will investigate further.
