I like Craig’s approach of using as many OEM components as he can. Manufacturers have big budgets to design and test components so they’re reliable. Much bigger budgets than aftermarket companies making “uprated” components.
Always love getting a peek in craig's workshop, the level of stuff he is producing is just phenomenal. In case you were interested, a shop called Sarasota Super Sport took over the Flyin Miata conversions for the ND
Brilliant bloke does a full detailed explanation of his conversions and how it all works , i lovrd hid quick build mx5 just a but more power ended up atound 300 and lookex a total weapon in track .
Flyin miata had all the CAN stuff figured out. Now the Sarasota Super Sport Performance in USA bought the right to flying miata R&D and they are starting to sell ND LS conversions. They might be able to help with CAN stuff if you run into problems.
I would LOVE to see a build series on the miata build. AND the Audi too. Also id be interested to see how it compares to the NB(?) LS Miata Jeremy from Fasterproms did years ago.
I had a 84 Audi 80 with a 20vT conversion and an eBay T4 turbo. It had a mechanically switched centre diff so I could pull the front shafts and have rwd.
Love these DynoTorue updates. Have a look at this video Craig, this is the other LS3 in the states. A couple of other video's on the Slip Angle channel ua-cam.com/video/mC5bKtEfQag/v-deo.html
who does the CAN Bus stuff for you Craig? I doubt it would be a popular video haha, but I'd be very curious to see the process of making them ECUs talk to eachother and troubleshoot it. Probably too nerdy for YT
I use emerald ecus , they are very good at doing me one off stuff and making the impossible happen !! , there ecus work very well and have all the features we need
@craigtaylor5075 have you seen Turbo Tom's Garage youtube channel/videos? That guy built an LS3 V8 Miata about 10 years ago and did a full video series on it. This is the play list: ua-cam.com/video/gDMrJhpeYiE/v-deo.html. If that link doesn't work, this is his channel: www.youtube.com/@TomsTurboGarage
Awesome footage as always. If only I could understand everything Craig says. I get about 60%, the rest is too ‘dialected’ for me. I mean, for a non-British person, his accent is rather overpowering. I have to switch on subtitles when he speaks. I don’t have that problem with the other DW videos though. But I will watch all videos.
Love that Craig gets his own spot on the channel from time to time. Out of all the channels I watch, no one else does this 🤘🏼
refilling the “craig can you just do” piggybank 😂
There really isn’t enough stuff on UA-cam like this. Will always tune in for a Craig build… nothing but appreciation for incredible talent.
Craig looks like he’s been on a big health kick! Impressive results, keep it up.
I'll be super interested in that Audi project.
" Bwacket". Thanks, Jay. I needed that. 😂
I'm interested in all the cars and bikes that Craig does. Definitely more videos please 🙏
Great to see Uncle Craig still making Mazdas better with ls swaps. What a legend.
Craig is always a joy. He is constantly doing something very interesting.
I like Craig’s approach of using as many OEM components as he can. Manufacturers have big budgets to design and test components so they’re reliable. Much bigger budgets than aftermarket companies making “uprated” components.
Plus so much easier to source replacements, often cheaper too
Craig: If you can buy something off the shelf that just fits there's no point
Phil: Hold my beer
Always love getting a peek in craig's workshop, the level of stuff he is producing is just phenomenal. In case you were interested, a shop called Sarasota Super Sport took over the Flyin Miata conversions for the ND
Are they still doing kits ?
Great instalment Craig and Jay. The pair of you seem to know what we are interested in and explain it well👏
Brilliant bloke does a full detailed explanation of his conversions and how it all works , i lovrd hid quick build mx5 just a but more power ended up atound 300 and lookex a total weapon in track .
Craig is so capable its unreal great to have him on the channel
Nice to see some more LS powered MX-5s in UK!
Fresh cut, lost some weight Craig? Oof 🔥
Always a great video when Craig is involved
Finally some more Cwaigh. Like that he gets som time on screen.

Love a DT update, class !!! Defo need an Audi build update !
The way you wrap up your cars is amazing.
True care.
Absolutely, the man clearly cares about the cars he's working on.
Lovely work as ever Craig! Definitely go with the hub Dyno. Less space and you don’t need to faff around strapping the car down!
Great to see Craig back on the channel, he really should have his own channel but anyway ... looks fit and trim these days top work sir!
Making all cars great, one LS at a time.
I was hoping for a dyno torque video ❤ always great to see what’s happening
Definitely do more on the Audi 90 quattro
Craig content is always great
Craig always had super interesting stuff.
Need to see more Craig
That audi sounds proper cool would like to see more on that
Cool to see content from Uncle Craig - keen on tracking the Audi build
Flying Miata was sold/ bought by a fellow here in Florida. I believe he now markets the kit or actually does the swap for you.
I would LOVE to see a build series on the miata build. AND the Audi too. Also id be interested to see how it compares to the NB(?) LS Miata Jeremy from Fasterproms did years ago.
The uncle we all wished we had
I had a 84 Audi 80 with a 20vT conversion and an eBay T4 turbo. It had a mechanically switched centre diff so I could pull the front shafts and have rwd.
There is a Dyno dynamics set up for sale in Coventry on Facebook market place I was day dreaming about the other day
Nice work Craig
Clever guy he's certainly knows his shi+
Would watch any video with Craig talking about cars, bikes or almost anything with wheels.
Defo wanna see more on the Audi!
Is this THE StavTech who does all the epic Facebook videos on car history and technical details etc?
Ace project 👍🏻 would really like to see the Audi when you get round to it please 🙏🏻

Great video 👍
Is it me or does Craig look like he's gotten 10 years younger? Great build and insight as always.
Would love to see some videos on that audi
Would love to keep up to date on that Audi build 👌🏻
Sarasota super sports performance is the name of the place in Florida, if memory serves.
Wonderful work!
Genuine question, where do you get stuff like this insured for the road these days?
Casual 450+!
You must do a feature on the Audi. Looks sweet
+1 Audi content please
@NuggetGarage Hoff knows his shit where there's hubs
who does the CAN Bus stuff for you Craig?
I doubt it would be a popular video haha, but I'd be very curious to see the process of making them ECUs talk to eachother and troubleshoot it.

Bloody hell those NDs are going crusty quickly!
Please do a series on the Audi

There are loads of V8 MX5s and Miatas. it's specifically the latest gen 4 ND MX5 / Miata he's referring to 👍
@@driftworks Ok got you, that's why Craig made a lot of references to CAN Bus issues, ECU compatibility etc 👍
I wish I hadnt seen this! Can you get this working on the ND2 version? Standard dash all works?
More Audi! I whant to see more!
Film all of it. Please
Audi 80 ❤️❤️
Craig…. Can You just 😂❤😅
Craig looks like hes lost a load of weight!
Bloody hell...Can you just.....! 😂
I'd say flyingmiata stopped doing them due to the government here in the states "EPA"
I miss Cuwage
Oh gosh, I’m building a cut (CUT cut) firewall LS FD3S.
Guy Called Taylor ray drifts one in the states with a full build vid
It's not an ND
Didn’t Rodders’s have massive issue with race cars and ecu ?
Yes please to the Audi 👍
Missed cwaig
What's going on with that Audi?
It's discussed in this video 👍
Stroked 3B, decent size turbo, ZF 8HP65 box, matching diff, more modern struts/hubs/wishbones etc. Suitable period mods, fairly low key.
Any updates on the RX8?
I got it out of storage and had it in Dyno ( 404 bhp ) so need to mot it and get on road again
@@craigtaylor5075 Very interested in how the 8HP works out for you. You need to bug the guys to make a video on it!
I’ve done a few 8hp cars now , they good . We will maybe do a drive vid at some point

He's a Coventry kid that's spent many years in Birmingham, most of us struggle so at 60% you're doing okay.
You have to imagine what isn't there. For example. Suspension is '"spension"
@@driftworks 🤣
