people wonder why chaotic's stronger than a shagaru as if this isn't also a mature animal, just extremely angry, pained and pumped up on enough adrenaline to bring someone back from the dead
Fun fact. Magalas are Xenomorphs. Shagaru's spores that spread frenzy will sometimes take hold in a monster. Then while the monster is living, Larvae Magalas will grow inside it like a parasite before a few young Gores will burst out of the monster and kill it.
Legit, this is so real. Chaotic slapped me around for *hours* because of its moves being familiar, but off in ways. As an LS player, this hunt was hell
Moral of the story, always kill chaotic gore, release them from their suffering. I would not wish any monster to be in that kind of state not even my most hated monsters like jyuratodus or barroth (i hate mud armors)

I implore more game devs to do the same as MH and Elden Ring which is to put the story INTO the gameplay instead of yanking me out of it for exposition. Best story of the year awards is slowly turning into "best unskippable cutscenes" nowadays.
Fun fact : In 4U, the first quest you do against Chaotic is in G rank, but it happens before the G rank version of Shagaru. However, there is an additional quest (part of the "Codex" series of end-game quests) where you fight Chaotic again, but this time it's MUCH stronger than Shagaru. It's not the only monster to get this treatment, but I kinda like how it makes its power level seem all over the place as well, with a higher ceiling than its proper adult form.
When I first fought chaotic gore magala which was today I saw him starting to rip at his body every now and then. And it hit me that capcom actually went to the effort to show how much pain chaotic gore magala is his own frenzy is killing him so much he wants to rip himself to shreds just to end it’s own pain it’s so sad seeing a monster act like this. But that’s why I love this version they conveyed so much with his return in this game.
Ok, I'll admit when I first saw this was gonna be a "ThIS mONSTEr bAD" video, but I was pleasantly surprised and ended up thinking bout things I didn't before when I fought him... thanks for making me think.
*Yes. In MH4U it was an fair fight. Combining both Gore and Shagaru's moves, but not having their strongest ones.* But nope. More moves means MORE TEENAGERS GONNA BUY THIS GAME YAAAAAAAAAY
with both gore and shagaru being one of my all time favorites i really liked how this video explained the version i could never meet (Chaotic was introduced in GU, i fought gore and shagaru un 4u, i had GU but never passed the intro hunts due to my 3ds being broken)
Chaotic Gore Magala just makes me think of a caterpillar if we could somehow interrupt its metamorphosis in the cocoon stage. Where the caterpillar basically becomes goop in the cocoon before changing to a butterfly.
I just thought of something - why do Chaotic Gore Magalas only appear at G-Rank or Master Rank? Why don't we see any High Rank Chaotic Gore Magalas in 4U and GenU even though there are both Gore and Shagaru in Low and High Rank? I wager that - lore-wise - it's because only the strongest Gore Magalas can even survive in that state. Weaker individuals might just perish within moments from the shock of having their molt stopped. But the ones that we hunt are the ones that were tough enough to cling to life in spite of the excruciating pain, and can wreak havoc as a result.
I still hate this hunt for giving me fear and confusion and after watching this video it makes me feel horrible for this monsters fate and I understand what capcom was going for now but just why does its damage have to be more harmful then Shagaru?
We apparently still don't have the concept of what this monster is, at least not for about 70% of the player base that seem to not have payed any attention to ANYTHING the game suggests - no, the game straight up explains in details - about the lore of Chaotic Gore Magala. I mean, even people who have only played Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, a game that gives almost no context at all about Chaotic, seem to know more about this monster than people who have played Rise Sunbreak, a game where it has - An intro cutscene that tells the audience almost all important aspects about it - A fight that directly reflects it's lore by showing him having muscular spasms after doing big attacks, missdoing some pretty basic moves, unleashing massive explosions of Frenzy Virus, and trying to mimetize Shagaru Magala in various aspects but still failing to do so - A theme that more than ever portrays the tragedy of it And, still, some people even get to the point of calling this monster "Edgy" I mean, it even has an idle animation where it tries to crack it's own neck It's impressive how people won't see even the most obvious or understand the most well explained things if they aren't interested And sorry for the bad english
After watching the video all I could think was "Chaotic Gore's grab one shots gunners, that's pretty unfair" (Quick edit, I enjoyed the video and felt bad for the pain that chaotic had to endure)
I like how people who aren't gunners say "This move one-shots you" that tells me that they clearly don't collect Spiribirds, unlike me, who used to eat for Bird Caller Lvl 4 to get the buffs more easily I don't anymore as I have installed a mod to spawn a rainbow Spiribird at the start of the hunt... It isn't a cheat for me as I usually get all the buffs anyway, it's to speed up the grind
@@deinonychus1948 Honestly I feel for you. I'm on console and I feel like I have to do the bird run every hunt so I'm not handicapped (eat for bird caller lv4 as well). I really feel like Capcom should release something to alleviate us of this mechanic... Maybe a new set of petalaces that lets you get one or two of the buffs full from just one bird each 🤷
One thing I remember from MH4U was that there are essentially two versions of this monster: the one you fight earlier on when first getting to the higher levels of G-rank, and the version you see in GQs (guild quests) and as an endgame fight alongside the Apex monsters. It's a long shot, but I would to see this concept of Chaos Magala having stronger sub-variants expanded on in the future. By the way, are there anomaly quests for Chaos? If not, I could imagine the next Risen Elder having a truly dope 1st phase with an extra cool transition.

The first time he grabbed me, it was glitched. But I didn't realize it. It was awesome. Captured the footage luckily, and posted it to my channel. It's great. The glitched grab perfectly embodies the theme of this fight. Worth checking out
Because what the world needs is a bunch of Qurio that can now transmit the frenzy virus as well. All we need now is for them to find their way into the Rotten Vale and infect a Vaal Hazak and now we have a frenzied effluvium Qurio
@@KlaireMurre Just curious, what about risen teo did you not like? I thought the fight was challenging and fun, and his new combos and new looks are great.
The life of Goru is like this: Abuse frenzy virus=> overgrowth=> can't change skin quick enough=> Die Not use enough time the virus=> self inmune disease=> die Shagaru near=> Corrupt his virus=> turn chaotix=> die in a lot of pain
The armor skills reflect this too, the nephilim g rank skills are only useful if you're suffering health loss and constant blight. Berserk is an awesome skill though if you pair it with a level four dragon heart build, 3 levels of ironshell and a skill of breath. You basically can get instant dragon heart activation and just cut through most monsters- but if you keep healing through the switch breath skill you lose more and more red with each activation
I appreciate at the start of the video the phrase, "this is unfair" was being used sounding like the fight is unfair, but at the end he reveals the hunt isn't unfair for us, but that life is unfair for chaotic gore meagala. Good misdirection, I was waiting the whole video to hear why that move was unfair, since it seemed really easy to deal with.
Fun fact: With Gore and Shagaru, you can break either wing-arm for a free knockdown. With Chaotic and Risen Shagaru, you have to break their wing-arms twice for a free knockdown.
When I think of Chaotic Gore Malgala I think of the song Who will know tragedy from the Shin Godzilla movie. Also a good movie should give that a watch.

I just started the game, as as a player who stopped playing because I couldn’t get past fatalis first phase solo, I’m not looking forward to this. Sticking with my easy hammer and hoping I do better
Gonna be nitpicky, it's not they trying to tell a story. It's what makes MonHun the best franchise out there. They are literally doing speculative evolution, this is why everything is so organic and the way monsties behave matches their lore even if you don't know about it. Also keep in mind that all Elder Dragons are using psychokinesis (haven't seen this explicitly stated/demonstrated in Rise/Sunbreak so far but it's in all other games) and their horns serve as antennas to amplify and control their powers, this is why breaking them disrupts or tampers with their abilities. Chaotic Magala is not just in physical pain but in a deep psychological pain that goes beyond how the condition of it's body affect it's mind. It's getting hurt both ways, which is sad AF.
@@mhswoocer it's why I love MonHun there is no Magick, they are all biological life-forms evolved to control elements of nature via psychokinesis. Once I settle down my life will try to put out some videos on this matter as well as the massive occult/mythological Lore of MonHun. It's amazing how it's not showed on your face but, if you know you'll see the references everywhere. You can get a glimpse of it by reading the descriptions in armors/weapons as well as how names and themes of monsties(Elder/Black Dragons mainly) match irl lore.
@@kittentacticalwarfare1140 That’s pretty interesting. From that view, it makes sense how it effects not just weapon and armor crafting along with decorations, but how all the residential populations in the world use the power of these monsters as superior versions of advanced technology. It may not be fair but ending a creatures suffering due to a shedding on wrong or the creature being in extreme pain is better then letting everything suffer. Dude not to rain on anyone's party but the fight of Gore Magala (any version) is based around positioning. It's like this; the Gore's main big attacks come from the front a few from the side and like one from the back. So obviously you're gonna position yourself to it's side or better yet you can you can even position yourself under his body to get headshots. And yes I know about the blight but if you use duels and like 9 times out of 10 you can get the buff from the blight. When it comes down to it's the monster isn't all that bad.

people wonder why chaotic's stronger than a shagaru as if this isn't also a mature animal, just extremely angry, pained and pumped up on enough adrenaline to bring someone back from the dead
I like how when chaotic gets tired it looks like as if it’s crying
Also, I you actually listen to the Chaotic Gore theme, there is a moment where you can hear the creature cries in agony.
Fun fact. Magalas are Xenomorphs. Shagaru's spores that spread frenzy will sometimes take hold in a monster. Then while the monster is living, Larvae Magalas will grow inside it like a parasite before a few young Gores will burst out of the monster and kill it.

that's a good argument senator, but what's the source to back it up?

The confused part fit perfectly on my side, the whole fight I had no clue what was going on.
You can't be confused by Chaos Gore if you are already confused from the beginning.
Legit, this is so real. Chaotic slapped me around for *hours* because of its moves being familiar, but off in ways. As an LS player, this hunt was hell
Great video. I can’t believe Capcom made me feel bad during that intro cutscene. I felt bad as hell for chaotic gore
Moral of the story, always kill chaotic gore, release them from their suffering. I would not wish any monster to be in that kind of state not even my most hated monsters like jyuratodus or barroth (i hate mud armors)
Idk if u realize this but the thumbnail and title make it sound like Capcom did smthn that u thought isn't fair and are infuriated by it, like a dodgy business practice or smthn
Edit: guys Ik what clickbait is lmfao, am just giving him the benefit of doubt
"youtubers" dont care, they want ppl to click on the video
pretty sure that's the idea. "all's fair in like and subscribe" as they say
Yea can you just be, idk *HONEST*
@@RagingBrachy honesty doesn't get clicks these days. Clickbait just comes with the platform.
@@sucinistro he seems like a nice guy, I'd rather give him the benefit of the doubt
I implore more game devs to do the same as MH and Elden Ring which is to put the story INTO the gameplay instead of yanking me out of it for exposition. Best story of the year awards is slowly turning into "best unskippable cutscenes" nowadays.
I love what Rise did with their monster intros. It adds character to the monster beyond our actual encounters with it.
To be honest, MH and Dark Souls have good lore, not stories.
@@dewi2658 and conspiracy theories. Just ask Banned Lagiacrus, that madlad
As hyped as I was to hunt Chaotic again back from 4U (haven’t played GU yet), his intro actually made me feel sad for him.
ngl, its opening narration is just chef's kiss. it portrays the narrative of the poor monster makes you wanna put it out of its misery ASAP
Check out the bounty description, it kinda funny but cruel at the same time.
Absolutely love the chaotic gore fight and how it constantly messes with u, throwing off ur muscle memory from both gore and shagaru
Ok, I'll admit when I first saw this was gonna be a "ThIS mONSTEr bAD" video, but I was pleasantly surprised and ended up thinking bout things I didn't before when I fought him... thanks for making me think.
“It’s a freak of nature who couldn’t properly evolve and now exists in a state of perpetual suffering.”
Yeah I can relate
*Yes. In MH4U it was an fair fight. Combining both Gore and Shagaru's moves, but not having their strongest ones.*
But nope. More moves means MORE TEENAGERS GONNA BUY THIS GAME YAAAAAAAAAY
I love that you noticed all this and explained it in a deep way. Passion man. I dig it. Been playing since mhf2
with both gore and shagaru being one of my all time favorites i really liked how this video explained the version i could never meet (Chaotic was introduced in GU, i fought gore and shagaru un 4u, i had GU but never passed the intro hunts due to my 3ds being broken)
Chaotic Gore Magala just makes me think of a caterpillar if we could somehow interrupt its metamorphosis in the cocoon stage. Where the caterpillar basically becomes goop in the cocoon before changing to a butterfly.
Take note that it can't keep its wing arms out on the ground or keep them folded in. The poor thing is so confused.
Oh he's knows what he's doing lol should see him evading traps sometimes lol
Great video that didn't require the clickbait and pandering, it turns me off so much
I am so glad the trio of them are in rise. The grungy realistic pallete of world couldn't do them justice
That's a really cool way to think about it!
I still hate this hunt for giving me fear and confusion and after watching this video it makes me feel horrible for this monsters fate and I understand what capcom was going for now but just why does its damage have to be more harmful then Shagaru?
Great video. Well written and edited.
Thank you!
"I'm not crying, you're crying"
well that was a tear jerker.
"The fight is not fair"
Others monsters: i am sorry hunter
Chaotic gore magala : skill issue
We apparently still don't have the concept of what this monster is, at least not for about 70% of the player base that seem to not have payed any attention to ANYTHING the game suggests - no, the game straight up explains in details - about the lore of Chaotic Gore Magala. I mean, even people who have only played Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, a game that gives almost no context at all about Chaotic, seem to know more about this monster than people who have played Rise Sunbreak, a game where it has
- An intro cutscene that tells the audience almost all important aspects about it
- A fight that directly reflects it's lore by showing him having muscular spasms after doing big attacks, missdoing some pretty basic moves, unleashing massive explosions of Frenzy Virus, and trying to mimetize Shagaru Magala in various aspects but still failing to do so
- A theme that more than ever portrays the tragedy of it
And, still, some people even get to the point of calling this monster "Edgy"
I mean, it even has an idle animation where it tries to crack it's own neck
It's impressive how people won't see even the most obvious or understand the most well explained things if they aren't interested
And sorry for the bad english
The subscribe button part is the best you got mine 🤣🤣🤣
Alright, prolly the sickest transition into asking for a subscribe I've ever seen, and it completely worked. Take it, you earned it man.
After watching the video all I could think was "Chaotic Gore's grab one shots gunners, that's pretty unfair"
(Quick edit, I enjoyed the video and felt bad for the pain that chaotic had to endure)
I like how people who aren't gunners say "This move one-shots you"
that tells me that they clearly don't collect Spiribirds, unlike me, who used to eat for Bird Caller Lvl 4 to get the buffs more easily
I don't anymore as I have installed a mod to spawn a rainbow Spiribird at the start of the hunt...
Maybe a new set of petalaces that lets you get one or two of the buffs full from just one bird each 🤷
@@Sanctor95 Most maps have pretty decent routes to get the spirit birds though. Takes a minute or two of your time.
2:02 chaotic gore magala fired it on my subscribe button dang
Lil deep but aight
"the only thing we can do is to put it out of its misery" and i kept capturing all 21 of chaotic gores i hunted in sunbreak coz i need his contrary scale 😭
The first time he grabbed me, it was glitched. But I didn't realize it. It was awesome. Captured the footage luckily, and posted it to my channel.
It's great. The glitched grab perfectly embodies the theme of this fight. Worth checking out
There's still a possibility for Risen Shagaru as well. I'm fine with all the Gore's in Rise
Because what the world needs is a bunch of Qurio that can now transmit the frenzy virus as well. All we need now is for them to find their way into the Rotten Vale and infect a Vaal Hazak and now we have a frenzied effluvium Qurio
Pls give us risen Shagaru to make up for the trash that was teostra.
@@KlaireMurre Just curious, what about risen teo did you not like? I thought the fight was challenging and fun, and his new combos and new looks are great.
Bold of you to assume that shagaru pays taxes
I thought this would be Extremely negative video about how hard is to dodge this attack but no it’s good
Literally subscribed due to the God-tier spin on the 'like, share and sub' bit!
The life of Goru is like this:
Abuse frenzy virus=> overgrowth=> can't change skin quick enough=> Die
Not use enough time the virus=> self inmune disease=> die
Shagaru near=> Corrupt his virus=> turn chaotix=> die in a lot of pain
The armor skills reflect this too, the nephilim g rank skills are only useful if you're suffering health loss and constant blight. Berserk is an awesome skill though if you pair it with a level four dragon heart build, 3 levels of ironshell and a skill of breath. You basically can get instant dragon heart activation and just cut through most monsters- but if you keep healing through the switch breath skill you lose more and more red with each activation
The intro had me in tears its so sad 🥺
Damn I feel so sorry for this Monster
Gore magala usually keeps it's wings furled in as much as possible unless angry. Shagaru keeps them out in full display chaotic gore cannot decide.
Now MH Rise/Sunbreak is coming to Playstation, I can't wait to see this beauty in 4K resolution 😍
"It's not a phase moooom"
The nova was unfair for the first time it hit me.
Then I learned how to dodge beneath its legs.
It's a mercy killing 😢
gore's smoke is it's scales it throws it in order to see
So basically this monster uses the tactic of “If I don’t know what I’m doing then you sure as shit don’t either” and it works
Came in here expecting some kind of Plesioth hip check hitbox shenanigans but ended up appreciating story telling of the game. Kudos to you sir for subverting my expectations. 😅
You can also just be invincible through pain after making his set, so...
"isn't fair" 😂
Oh the horn thing makes total sense! I never noticed that but you're 100% right!
I guess the wyverians including Hinoa and Minoto also showcase the same ability being just a fact of MH’s world, so it wasn’t really anything new.
@@Hibernial true forgot they got a psychic connection with Narwa/Ibushi.

I can't wait for monster hunter rise launch next month
It may not be fair but ending a creatures suffering due to a shedding on wrong or the creature being in extreme pain is better then letting everything suffer. Its something we have to do sense chaotic causes whole ecosystems to crumble due to the frenzy but also its ravenous and hyper aggressive nature. Ending its life is a mercy to both the creatures in the nearby ecosystem and for chaotic itself sense we end its suffering
imagine capturing chaotic gore magala
what a cruel person
God damn it, I'm not supposed to feel sorry for monsters that I want to make a fancy new armor out of, now I just wanna hug this poor guy. I feel the same, my dude, same. ;__;
that's why I try my best to make it quick for CGM. I never capture. it's just cruel, and I see hunting it as more of a mercy kill than anything

I love chaotic gore magala it’s in pure suffering till death. We are literally putting it out of its own misery for our safety, worlds and even for the monsters sake itself
Oh poor chaotic gore magala... Well, time to end the suffering.
It remember me when the guys I was playing wanted to fight a CGM, I didn't have really good gear for G rank but I went with them
I surprisingly manage to survive, and I got enough materials to have the CGM Insectglaive, which looks INCREDIBLE, my favorite looking weapon by far
And to all MH4U veteran out there, just a small clue about why I main the IG and my nationality
"Je suis monté"
I am going to play MH4U again but as a LB main, I hope I will be able to solo G rank (I still play IG because it is legally required by my country but guns are cool), I wonder if there is still some people around after all these years
So the chaotic gore magala’s hunt is.. chaotic. HOW DARE U CAPCOM
Not gonna lie, I thought that the aforementioned "unfairness" was tied to something gameplay related
Me seeing all the one shots in fifth gen: Oh you have no idea.
I relate to this monster too much.
