I love the psychological deep dive into each class and the one thing that most of these MMO UA-camrs black is comedy. I've noticed that all of them come at it like information from a book instead of a video meant to make you entertain your videos are pretty funny and fun to watch.
5:40 - I see you're struggling to use your staff-5 jump because of the AOE range - did you know you can snap AOEs to maximum range in settings? If not you can jump 1.5 min back in your own video ;P
Thank you for the explanation of the class. As someone who plays Reaper main primarily Thief did feel a bit weird, felt fun but I knew I wasn't playing it "right" in a lot of ways. The deadeye explanation was key for me, every guide I look up just goes over builds and doesn't mention the mechanics of the class.

Say that sentence again and I'm gonna write a 10 mile long comment list on EVERY.SINGLE.JTTW.REFERENCE/HOMAGE in media until you understand why I hate you for saying that. For instance. Did you know in Hero Academia a backstory guy has a crown whose power is flying on clouds who also happens to use a staff? Then there's Son Goku in Dragon Ball whose name is based on Son Wukong/Goku who also had a size changing staff, cloud and monkey theme w plus name. Wukong from LoL who also had a cloud ability, cloned himself, had a length changing staff AND was a monkey. Hiruzen in Naruto having a monkey companion who turns into a size changing staff hard as diamond. And ENTIRE lego series based on Son Goku Wukong. *SPEAKING OF NARUTO.* His favorite tactic is making multiple clones of himself to overwhelm an enemy which is Sun Wukong's favorite tactic as well and that Naruto himself was based off of Sun Wukong AND that the hand sign Naruto makes when making the clones is also Sun Wukong's favorite sign he uses. Then there's entire chinese animated series on the damn monkey cause the story comes from China. Repeat this, in your face references, a couple of thousands of times with a near photographic memory repeating every single instance in your god damn head every time another one is shoved in your face and you see why this is a problem. Not to mention it means every single monkey in media in anything is forcibly not allowed to be anything but a pile of references or just a straight ripoff from JTTW and nobody is allowed to do anything unique or original with a monkey character.
f the guide lemme tell u just dont if u want to be auctually hiding in shadows because of ur low health u get kncked down easily by lvl 15 bandits even if ur near max level
This class is the only one I need I guide for, every other class, even the ones I'm bad at, I have a ok ish idea of how to play them by the time I get to lvl 80, but for some reason I just don't really get this one
Got back into gw2 cause of the expansion plus all the videos arenanet did before release. Tried out thief and my god why didn’t i ever play this prof. So much fun since playing alot of action jrpg’s.
I am new and only leveled an Ele so far, and have only made a Thief myself yesterday. I agree, that it's a ton of fun even below level 10! Playing with the action camera mode and with the shortbow is the best!!
@@KikiTheHobo yeah i love action cam so much. So easy having auto set to my left click for me (old league player) to use to clicking. Loved lost srk, but the que times and bots have killed that game for me. Least i can get into gw2 anytime i want.
"So you're the edgelord" Revenant is that way. Also edge lord Thief: Born a noble, regrets not joining the circus. A class that specializes in stealth and sneaking. Clearly I join the military brute focused vigil!
Best class even if anet nerfs it to hell and back. And ye I know specter is a bomb ATM but... with it beeing a thief spec it will get nerfed so hard that it doas nothing except mediocre dps... plus XD alac on thief???? Com on gimme quickness thief is LITERALLY the class that profits the least from alac.... Also let's take a moment of silence for invigorating precision
So what can I do if I just keep dying everytime I am fighting more then mobs. Or when there is a Champion enemy and he just look at my direction and I am almost instakilled? So far I am level 55 I think.

honestly, steal is by far the worst class specific mechanic of any class. its just way too random and underwhelming.
I agree! I really wish Steal did more, but it gets swapped out for Elite Spec options later on so at least it isn't forever :D

great class but the initiative cost on most all skills is too much , its worse than revenant energy , 1 huge draw back from the profession
I think this is for entry levelers, so why are you not showing skill bar or damage in the second half ? Ok, 7 min. in you start again.

I play daredevil for years but I think it need a buff...other classes makes more dmg with less effort and that is really frustrating.

Use hounds or thieves to tank, do range damage using pistols or short bow. That's how I most handled boss-like mobs
