Great question. You also have the option to create a 2-of-3 account, which can be spent from any time using our recovery tool. Also, after 1 year since receiving funds, your 2-of-2 accounts can be spent from using the recovery tool as well - without Blockstream's key. This ensures users can access their funds in the extremely unlikely event of Blockstream servers become unavailable permanently. The recovery tool is geared towards users with command line experience, but we plan to allow the same functionality within the app in the future.
