Another alternative option for Find bin is to add the ' Add alt key ' on top from the Other tab in the command palette after you've assigned to a key and it will open the bin and highlight the clip that is under the playhead ( and has the track selected ), without loading the clip into the source monitor.
I kept waiting for your extend shortcut. 😂 I respect that muscle memory. My premiere keyboard is a strange amalgamation of just about every NLE I have used since FCP7
