Amazing video, very interesting that you say to keep the weight forward. I am learning with Foil drive and to pop up I need to shift weight back. It then feels like I am stuck with my centre over back leg and when I want to bend knees I feel my entire weight is going on back. When I want to hop I can't get on my toe with back leg. I would be interested to know if you have any tips specific to foil drive, and also about mast position as atm I have my back foot over my wing, it's not between my legs (more because of foil drive). Also wanted to ask about "charging the foil" when you are high up, what exactly does that mean? Sorry loads of questions! Look forward to future vids big thanks from the UK.
Watching your video without sound I found that you are tilting your board quite a bit between going up and down. No idea whether that is relevant, good or bad ;-), Looks different when I watch Yvone's videos
good point, it depends on the foil and the rider's skill level. ideally the flatter the better, but smaller faster foils do need more amplitude. on top of that @yvonvite_axis is definitely more precise and efficient than me ahah
Grazzie mille for the tips !! Always very useful vidéos
prego!!
