I went to almost 3-4 Airtel gallery but i was bluntly told that esim on Airtel prepaid is not possible and I have to move to postpaid, I was about to change my iPhone XR to iPhone 13 so I needed it. At last I requested my company HR to convert it to physical Sim and later after changing my iPhone again requested them to convert it to esim from backend being a corporate connection. Your video is an eye opener to misguided people like me who were made to run from pillar to post by the greedy service providers for the reasons unknown.

This was a much needed video, i switched to airtel prepaid esim 15 days ago i already had airtel esim like 3-4 months ago but on postpaid when i asked airtel gallery staff they said its not possible on prepaid and so I disconnected my old number. Now when i went to ask if its available now they said NO but when i was just about to leave they said if you’ve previously had an airtel number you can convert it (basically they were just trying to make excuses but did not want to loose a customer) and honestly I would’ve agreed to get the airtel esim on postpaid again because of jio’s poor network coverage and i wanted to have 2 sim cards but im glad that I hesitated and got it on prepaid.

Brother even when I visited the Airtel store, they said there is no Airtel prepaid connection. If you want E sim then you have to take postpaid connection. 😢

I was having jio physical sim. I ported to airtel esim they said u should take postpaid sim thn 2 number shuld their we can use esim in 2 iphones. In other numbers. Now its activated but still calls are nit going what should i do?? I should remove physical sim of same esim?? I can put other sim in physical sim slot?? Then i can call or what. Esim is activated data is also coming calls are also recieving only i cant call any one what shuld i do?

lol.. No, it is essentially be categorized as sim cloning which is an offence, can get you booked. Also, it won't work. Once you convert to esim, physical sim becomes USELESS, just like your comment. Have fun!

Another important point is that you can’t setup Airtel prepaid esim on Apple Watch. You must be a postpaid customer for that which is a big bummer.

Yes, before buying Apple Watch I literally asked every UA-camr that “how to setup airtel prepaid esim “ but no ans from anyone . So lastly , I had to convert my airtel sim to jio just for apple Watch .

I have the 14pro max of US and it works properly with airtel prepaid esim. Only headache was that they didn’t start the sms service for 24 hrs (which is appreciable as frauds can happen) all in all smooth transition imo
