What I found is that after a few brush replacements the flip lid of the brush box snaps off from metal fatigue. How does one replace that (and is it easy)?
Unfortunately if the small metal tabs break off that hold the brushes in place, it is not possible to repair/replace these - you may be able to fashion something else to hold the springs on the brushes in place - e.g. wrapping a cable tie around, etc.
