Thank you for your request.
Press the Off button on the display and let the extruder cool down for 5 minutes. The air should drop below 100 degrees Celsius. The plastic remains very warm for a long time. But this is no problem, just don’t storage in the plastic case as long as its hot.

The WELDPLAST extruders from LEISTER give an automatic release as soon as the device has heated up sufficiently. This may vary depending on the ambient temperature. We generally recommend allowing 10 minutes for the appliance to heat up sufficiently. More detailed information can be found in the manual: www.leister.com/en/product/Weldplast-S2#Downloads
