- The Prince of Egypt - Deliver Us One-Line Multilanguage with Subtitles
This is my favorite part of the song. Ofra Haza is my favorite singer here but Croatian, Russian and Ukrainian are very good too. Enjoy.
If someone have the miss lyrics, please tell me.
Let's agree that her singing in all languages is beautiful, but there's something in Hebrew here that is special more than all.
Hebrew is gods language.
Lol I felt that. Now I know I’m not the only one.
its the 'H' and 'Kh' sounds. Since she is natively a yemenite jew, she has a special hebrew accent and her music is in the genre of 'eastern songs', basically arabic-influenced accent and songs and its absolutely beautiful. My grandparents have the same accent.
@@gogocohen6287 thank you for this comment! this explains a lot.
My work has taken me to dozens of countries hundreds of times over the decades and still to this day I still wholeheartedly believe Hebrew is the most beautiful language when sang.
I speak Russian, English, Spanish and am studying different languages too. Not only does this woman have one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard, the way she fluently pronounces each word while singing is mind blowing to me every single time.
Not pronouncing fluently everytime in my languages at least for exemple in finnish and swedish but still doing great job
Yes, I thought it was a Spanish singer making an accent.
She was unbelievable.
As someone who is teaching herself French, I think her French accent is very good but not perfect. In the full French version, it seemed to me like she mispronounced some words in terms of the phonetic intonation of the French language but her French version is still pretty incredible for someone who never spoke a word of French! I’m honestly impressed! C’est très belle 🥰
@@aquaqueen9986 Sen tbh tycker jag att hennes dialekt (när hon sjunger) är väldigt fin och autentisk??? eller hur mna nu ska förklara det lol
You can tell how she worked seriously for it to be perfect in every language she sang in.
I tear up hearing Ofra Haza’s voice, especially in that song in the movie, which was one of her last projects before dying way too young. She sang this in about 20 languages for the film. Her voice, even in the final era of her career, stayed vivid and vital as it was in her peak of success (late 70 to late 80s).
She was one of the first music artists I ever loved and I love her till this day. May she Rest In Peace. ❤️
Just hearing Ofra Haza sing in my native language, Swedish, and knowing she was from Israel still blow my mind because her Swedish is so darn good I always thought she was a native until I looked her up years later.
Vet känslan. Har alltid trott att hon var svensk. Hade ingen aning att hon var hebreisk. Hon sjöng så perfekt.
Ofra Haza was incredible to be able to sing this song gorgeously not only in English, but 17 other languages! I was she was still alive 😢
Hahahaha
Ofra Haza did her voice in 18 languages, especially her native Hebrew language!
Omg... Ok, guys, I don’t have words to express this but...
Ofra Haza is just... unbelievable. I speak Latin Spanish, and when I noticed she sang Castilian Spanish I couldn’t believe it. She said the exact same words with the exact same meaning... BUT SHE MADE TWO DIFFERENT ACCENTS, EVEN IN THE SAME LANGUAGE! My mind just exploded! It’s so subtle, I guess only a person who born in Spain or in a Latin American country could notice but... omg, her talent is on another level. I love her so much! 💖
Wow, first of all, MAD respect for Ofra Haza for singing all those languages beautifully and with excellent pronunciation! Next, those other singers who sang Ofra's part in other languages did incredible too, very much like Ofra and very emotional. Last but not least, those quire parts were all amazing and powerful. Love this movie, music is amazing and they did an amazing job telling a story from the Bible. Religious or not, they told a powerful story and stayed respectful to the source material.
Up
Oh my goodness Ofra Haza sang in multiple languages?!?! Wow!!!😯🤩
Plus I was surprised when she sung even in my language (greek) I had to replay the previous songs to hear her again!😄

Ofra Haza was a true legend of Israeli music, and fans from all over the world can always adore her beautiful voice, whether they liked the Prince of Egypt movie or not!
I personally think every language sounds very beautiful in their own way
Latin languages and Hebrew are the best for me
The Hebrew version is so emotional, like the original story they had .. like a prayer.. Ofra Haza so talented did that in so many languages. RIP
Still, Prince of Egypt remains my ultimate favorite film. You made an excellent multilanguage of the most epic song. Of course, Ofra will always be a pure perfection, I also love the Russian, Ukrainian and Croatian versions of Yocheved, and the Mandarin singer is great as well!
I agree 😉
For me the Russian, Ukrainian and Italian versions failed a bit.
I wish ofra haza was still with us 😢
this was one of my fav childhood movies, and I was always shocked how similarly the tones in my native language sounded (Slovak) to the English and Hebrew versions....only later I discovered it was the same singer - Ofra!! It was such a shock to me, I was so amazed, that someone made such an incredibly effort to learn to pronounce so naturally in so many languages of tiny godforsaken nations with little as little audience as in my country perhaps and sings it so effortlessly and heartbreakingly! The same goes for Hungarian (which I also understand and know it is a very difficult language) and all the other languages. Amazing, it never stops fascinating me and tearing me when I hear this.
Ofra was a force… she was incredible.
EXACT same thing here! i'm hungarian, and i've always thought the singer is just really nailing the voice of the singer in the original version, and she's just singing with a hebrew accent - because she's pronouncing every word perfectly (except the letter gy) - so it was such a shock to me as well to discover that it's been sung by the exact same person, and not only in english and hungarian, but FIFTEEN MORE LANGUAGES. i'm still struggling to express how extremely amazing i find that. it also inspired me to listen more of Ofra's songs, and i just completely fell in love with her voice, and personality... we lost this precious angel of a woman way too soon...
She sounds so soft in italian 🥰😭😱
Italian = best language for to play the role of a protective mother 😂✨
Ikr!!!!
And French too..🥺🥰
For me Castilian Spanish, latin Spanish, English are the languages I speak fluently and understand. Italian, french, and Portuguese are the language s I'm studying and the song is very powerful on those and other languages too. Great movie, great song and other songs from the prince of Egypt soundtrack are very good. Highly recommend to listen to this song and the movie if their is nothing to see and hear upon the crisis of COVID 19 last year to now.
pronuncia el español perfecto, nunca hubiera pensado que quien doblo esa parte era de otro pais, ademas de que su interpertacion en otros idiomas es exelente.
If I didn't watch this video, I will never know that she sang in a lot of differents languages and very well!
my top favourite parts: 27:05 9:45 1:05 22:16 24:12 26:07 28:03 17:27 16:30 10:43 18:25 & 8:48 but i like them all just chose some ones that i like!

The rest are beautiful 2 tho
The languages that didn't come out
Tagalog/Filipino & Taiwanese Mandarin
( btw Mandarin and Taiwanese Mandarin is not the same in same cases but is based on the same language )
Ofra Haza had done amazing being able to sing Deliver Us in 20 languages. That is insane! My favourite version of this song was in Greek, honestly! They way Ofra sang it, mixed the same tone when she sang the phrases in Hebrew, the choir/orchestra and the stress syllables, I don't know exactly know to explain upon this, it emphasises her voice making it motherly, but also a voice to beg for freedom. Forgive me, if it does not make sense, but you might get what I am saying. I am no expert in voice acting, it is just... It makes me feel satisfied when I hear Ofra's voice, Ofra Haza was such an amazing voice actor okay?
And also, Italian was my second favourite because again that motherly voice, it was much softer the way Ofra Haza sang it.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ofra Haza sings in my native language.
Still beautiful and touching as always.
I'm Pole 🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱 ❤
Finnish amazes me year after year. she sounds almost fluent
Ofra Haza, She did so many language and with no more accent she’s so talented. Really.
What I like about this version, is that you can hear ‘the struggle, pain & torture behind the ‘River lullaby’…….it is comforting in the midst of one’s own.
Hey there ! My dad is an one of the original choristes in the Latin American and he's saying that lyrics were:
Liberanos, mi oracion: Liberanos,
Del dolor, la esclavitud
No habre de soportar.
Liberanos, DONDE FLUYE LECHE Y MIEL
Liberanos ROMPE el yugo ya
Liberanos, nos conduciras.
You missed some words on the Lyrics. Glad to help ! :)
here are some of the things you missed in few of the languages. i hope anyone finds this helpful:
the singers:

mandarin: aiji wangzi

As a native portuguese speaker, watch this movie made me realize for the first time how beautiful portuguese is
Parece que nas línguas latinas a música é mais tocante, mais profunda...

So Ofra Haza, who represented Israel in Eurovision '82 that happened in Munich, Germany, and sang "Hai" (Alive) with 6 dancers wearing yellow (as symbolism to the yellow stars, and 6 million Jews), was later singing in German - in a movie about the Hebrews exodus from being slaves in Egypt?
YOU CAN NEVER GET AS ICONIC AS THIS.
Hebrew gave me goosebumps
RIP Ofra Haza. You were extremely talented.
her greek is absolutelly amazing, there is only a SLIGHT accent but other that that incredible
Thank you for the very detailed and well edited collage.
It was exactly what I was looking for.
Ofra Haza is so impressive and emotional. The other singers were very good too.
French, Hebrew, Greek and Finnish??? omg beautiful
I didn’t know that Ofra Haza speak allot of languages 😱
She didn't.. but the creators of the movie were so obsessed with her that they asked her to sing in a few languages
@@adelinaSG16 She spoke Hebrew, Arabic, English, French, Italian, and I believe German since her niece mentions her taking German lessons in Germany.
@@adelinaSG16 honestly, it sounded like she actually knew 20 languages by heart. Ahhhh! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@eurech I had heard she just spoke english, hebrew and old hebrew, maybe you know more than me but well.
Ofra had an amazing voice. RIP.
When I was little I haven't known why did she pronounce the words weirdly.😅Now I only can respect her for singing this part so good in many languages
Never knew the Castilian version had an alternate take of the Hebrew line!
And the Italian version too.
The italian is better than others !!!
I wonder why
I always feel a sting in my heart when I see the expression on that womans face at the end of the scene. :(
I'm Brazilian and wen i was a child i believed that Ofta Haza was Brazilian too because her accent in Portuguese is perfect, and i could hear the difference between the Brazilian Portuguese and the Portuguese from Portugal, and bro, it's perfect
This women Ofra Haza, I can't believe I thought she was native of my language but no. She deserves everything, she sounds charming in ev'ry language, she's messy sometimes in the high note of "Deliver us" but sometimes that line did end in a "i" or a "u" and those are hards vocal to make the high notes u know?
ukranian version brought me to tears: years pass by but human cruelty is still the same.
Imagine comparing a beautiful ancient biblical tale to a modern war. Words cant describe the pain of the hebrews and jews in egypt and today. Stop making everything about ukraine.
@@user-xd9it8rt3o the israelites tho got out and got freedom, while Ukraine is still in the war whic h makes everyone makes everyone talk bout ukraine
Beautiful video! Thank you!
20:03 según yo es “Donde fluye leche y miel” en vez de “No debes porque perder”
Dopo quasi trent'anni scopro OGGI che Ofra Haza ha cantato Jochabel in tutte queste lingue. È... sorprendente. Ero convintissima fosse italiana😮
It's just... not fair. There's no other way to say it. The fact that one person is able to sing in, I think about 15 LANGUAGES... is not fair. She's like the freaking Christopher Lee of music.
Ofra haza takes the price. Wow
Hi! Thank you for sharing this! If I may ask - could you please let me know where you found all these? I'd be very interested in hunting down some of these versions, especially since I know Ofra Haza did a few more, which were not included here. Thank you!
Do you know the other versions Ofra Haza did?
For those curious the languages in which Ofra Haza sung in are:
Czech, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese(Brazilian and European), Romanian, Slovak, Spanish (Latin and Castilian), Swedish
Que orgulho do português cara, um dos mais bonitos
hebrew is yet the strongest, maybe because its the voice actors original or because they are hebrews, but it sure puts the vibe
Fun fact, Ofra Haza sang this song in 19 languages.
AMO TU VIDEO!!
there will be no one like Ofra
17:40 the Japanese version is breathtaking. What a voice
Yeah, of my favourites japanese voices.
Amazing
Wow,the japanese singer has a gorgeous vouce too

I always wonder where people get different dub. Anyone knows where I can watch this movie in hebrew?
Also great compilation!✨
Thai singer is great!! 😍(I'm italian)
Waw the Catalan! Piel de gallina…
Latin languages and Hebrew are the best for me
In greek the title of the song instead of "deliver us" is " Free"
the sad thing about 18:25 is that this is exactly what is happening in North Korea right now
is it really her singing in Bulgarian? The voice sounds very different
Yeah, in some she sounds very different.
who does?
Can somebody please give me the Slovak lyrics?
Here you go :D
Syn môj, ja če nemám ako skryť
Dúfam že budete žiť
Že ťa zas uvidím
Pro tu ma

English Translation:
My son, I have nothing to hide
I pray that you will live
That I will see you again
For me here
Deliver us
Anak ko, wala na akong mabibigay
Makatakas ka lang at sana’y
Makita kitang buhay
Anak ko, wala na akong mabibigay
Kung di pagasang ka’y mabuhay
Tiwala ako sa diyos
na makakala-ya rin tayo!
Their is no arabic version ?😢😢😢😢😢
The Russian was a little off at the end I've been speaking it all my life and I had a hard time understanding it😭
I was waiting for her to sing in Arabic but nvm
She has multiple songs in Arabic. Look at 'Amen to the Words', 'Yachilvi Veyachali', for example.
@@eurech we know. Ofra haza is of yemeni descent. They meant why was there no arabic or even aramaic. These languages are not closer to the story of moses more than any of the other languages (apart from Hebrew) . Its such a shame.

The movie was banned in Muslim countries, therefore languages such as Turkish, Hindi and Arabic are languages into which the film wasn't dubbed.

I'm so incredibly sad she couldn't do her part in Russian or Ukrainian. Really disliked the Russian dub of the movie and i think this might be one of the reasons why i considered this movie quite bad as a kid (and probably it was too heavy for me back then). I was absolutely blown away and smitten when i finally saw it as an adult.
Этот фильм, вероятно, запрещен в России как экстремистское произведение, поскольку в нем рассказывается о порабощенном народе, молящемся Богу о свободе, освобождающей их от власти тиранического правителя...
I wonder why there is no Arab dub. Lol.
