If banning cheaters is like banning botting in MMOs then it's most likely banwaves. They don't want to tip off cheat developers if they start banning accounts one by one and let them learn to upgrade their ways to get past the anti cheat. Game developers want a swift, blind side ban so the cheat developers don't know where to start improving their program. Plus it's the holidays so it's just bad timing. There could be talk about upping the anti cheat before going on the holidays but, the dance of cheats and anti cheats is never ending.

Sometimes I feel bad because I'm terrible at the game, but then these videos make me understand that I will never be as bad as the people who buy cheats to be good, because at least I admit that I suck and I'm honest with myself

I think triggerbots are INSANELY common on heroes like Widow, because they're very difficult to differentiate from normal, good widow play

@@Antonio-ys5zd there's more insidious forms that work well for Widow, like "automatically fires when the reticle passes over a target's head", because that entirely uses natural aim, but is definitely cheating.
It's easier to spot on a widow vs someone like a junkerqueen because widow has 1 shots
The only way to tell is by examining their consistency, but that requires pulling up the replay. In death recap theres no way for you to know

Was in a group last night where one guy was saying that he didn't think there were that many cheaters online. Then the POTG displayed and the Hanzo from the other team snapped 3 perfect shots in a row while people were in fast motion and 1 was through a tiny gap where they were running past and only visible for a fraction of a second. Impossible without walls and an aimbot
As someone who worked in an anti cheat team for a server cluster in old CS 1.6 times its insane how many people are unable to detect how inhuman aim looks. This is already a decent triggerbot and hard to detect, now imagine how hard it is to see if the aimbot works with an offset, so it aims a little bit off with every trigger. Thats literally undetectable.
From my experiences, a good double digit chunk of the playerbase is not playing clean, but not everyone uses aimbots. "Just" a wallhack and an ultimate tracker gives you just such an insane advantage in this game. When I was watching more Ow streamers during the lockdowns, I saw so much odd aim in GM and T500 in killcams and POTGs... a lot of these players would never survive a real investigation for cheats.

Are there a bunch of people who just use walls that go under the radar? Its dope to meet someone who’s don’t work against the cheaters so I’m sorry to bombard you with questions lol

Honestly, I'd never have recognized this person was cheating. I just expect that the best players are this accurate on their own.
Spend some time looking at what actual natural good aim looks like, tracking and flicks, and then compare to cheaters. The tracking on cheaters is more streamlined and perfect, while natural tracking is consistent but not perfect. Cheating flicks are insanely fast and happen for over 50% of shots. Natural flicks can be fast, but they can't go too fast most times, and flicking isn't a great way to aim for all of your shots, just some, so natural aim will include a small % of flicks.

You could tell it was a trigger, even in live, by the Z shape flicks they keep doing. Overwatch, CS, TF2, etc, that's a habitual giveaway of a triggerbot that's ingrained into those sorts of cheaters as that's the sort of motion needed to consistently get your bot to hit heads.

Its very obvious once you look and see that they are swinging their mouse around to let a program aim for them as opposed to actually attempting to place their shots (and of course, like flats called out, how every shot is always perfectly center mass)

They did like maybe 3-4 carnages that whole game, which is crazy … but also because it takes actual mechanics to do , when they’d rather just frag with the shotgun because they know they won’t miss. And not once did they leave the knife in, it always immediately pulled back. I’ve never seen JQ played this way. Crazy they made it all this way just shooting. I’m willing to bet the account was bought… I can’t see someone climbing to t500 on shooting alone.

Carnage through shields, carnage through anything orisa is doing, carnage through dva matrix. Carnage to make Kiri use cleanse. Multiple uses past pure dps numbers.

Normal V melee attack also applies a bleed. So the lack of melee attacks from this gameplay even from a cheater, just hurts me

@@oniemployee3437specifically it only applies bleed if you actually have your knife in your hand- if you throw your knife and don't recall it, JQ will just punch with her fist as her melee and it won't apply bleed iirc

@@lperino07the bot controls when your gun shoots but you control the aim- most effective on high burst shots like sniper and shotgun. Guy in the video also has some aim assist tho for the knife.

@@Runeknight101 there's definitely aim assist on the gun too. Just look at the reticle placement, it's ALWAYS directly on the target's head, never the body. But it doesn't seem to activate until the reticle is already next to the target's hitbox, so the person is still manually aiming up to a certain point. The obvious aimbots always have wild snaps directly to the head, something like this is gonna be a lot less noticeable when you're in the middle of a match.

what convinced me was the shot at 1:30, when he rounds the corner and shoots the Bap. That shot was literally inhumanly quick and of course accurate..
2:59 something I noticed is that the triggerbot was smart enough to not shoot into Defense Matrix, but only for the first second the matrix is up.

What’s insane is they even have accuracy percentage adjusters now. You can set it so it doesn’t land over a certain percentage of shots and only have headshots when they are critical like when you’re low health. Basically you can set it to be slightly above a top performing human as to hide it
Recently before christmas i had a huge amount of sus players in my qp lobbies and i reported them to log in next time and it says action taken. Very satisfying but god there was so many in such a short time

One of the biggest tells of a trigger bot is when someone reliably DOESN'T shoot after a flick even when they would probably still deal damage. The only time this guy fires after a flick is if they have their crosshair on center of mass, and when they don't get center of mass, they correct themselves for a center of mass shot. It simply isn't natural gameplay, it's very robotic.
Weirdly I'm glad this footage exists because it shows how powerful JK can be on a purely mechanical level. This is the power you're leaving on the table if you're not aiming your shots.
The part with the Ana and shortly after was probably POG

Triggerbot just clicks for you, it doesn’t do the aim smoothing/tracking you see here. I’m assuming this is fov aimbot + trigger and the fov bubble is just pretty small. Especially evidenced by the moment at 6:55; can’t hit the Ana out of their fov bubble (probably right around their crosshair) but once the Ana passes by, they suddenly are able to whip over and get her.
I'm assuming it's a form of an "aim assist replicating aimbot" with how it has just the smallest snap adjustments. The person isn't the worst at tracking from time to time, but their overall aim is probably like Flats said, just a bit too much to the left or right
@@slashen00 that is fov aimbot + aim smoothing/silent aim. FoV aimbot w/ silent aim + trigger is a pretty good way to mimic real aim but this dude definitely went a bit overboard. Many points during the video where he drastically overshoots but it smooths his crosshair back over to where it should be. Pretty hard to spot mid-game unless you happen to see a bunch of crazy stuff back to back in the killcam.
Shotgun characters are a bit trickier to notice when they're cheating like this because whereas normally, it's about noticing when a cheater is hitting shots that they shouldn't be. Shotgun characters om the other hand will nearly always hit a little when they shoot at you due to the spread, so you're far less likely to question it unless you're noticing unnatural movement.
Wish the replay would show stats too.

You can always see them fishing for that trigger bot activation. If a trigger bot failure happens they dont shoot, just keep moving their mouse
One of the tell tales is always the bots playing don't even move the crosshair inbetween shots, no matter how slow or fast it is they're always only holding the mouse without even turning

Trigger bots kinda worry me because it can result in some really good seeming play without realizing it depending on the character. Junker Queen sounds exactly like the character that would be great for it.
I'm certain that a large section of the increased hacks during the holiday season is kids convincing their parents that they need these programs to play the game so they get them as gifts. Parents don't know any better and just fork over the cash so little Timmy can either feel like he's accomplishing something or completely troll a game.

triggerbot can be hard to spot if u dont know what ur looking for.. watch the way he aims he doesnt flick or aim like a normal person he just tries to catch the hitbox so his triggerbot shoots for him

The game needs to know what your crosshair can see in order to know if you're shooting an enemy or not. Both internal and external cheats access the game's memory and take advantage of this. The third way is to use a colorbot, which is an external cheat that doesnt access memory and only works based on the colors its seeing on the screen. A colorbot is harder to spot but has way less features than a cheat that accesses memory
That's not mainly a triggerbot. It's a silent aim. There is also a trigger and ESP, don't get me wrong. Also a spread reduction I think

Theres been an increase BECAUSE there is a cheat designed for a certain childrens game (not naming which so people dont find it) that uses ai learning and monitors your screen so its client sided and the ai learns where to aim and how to aim theres also a triggerbot feature however the thing is its made for said game specifically HOWEVERRR it works on every single game and its fairly unpopular new and free so a lot of anti cheats isnt able to detect this bc you can adjust it to look as human as you want and it does occasionally miss as well so uh yeah :D

To be fair, triggerbots are pretty old. Never would have suspected them to come back because they're always pretty easily distinguishable.
Really easy one its to write a code for auto hotkey to shoot when your crosshair passes the enemy outline colour.

Competitive is literally unplayable in this game. Im plat/diamond on console and id say 1 in 3 of my games has a cheater in it. Its obvious too because theyre always on soldier, ashe, widow, or bastion

This doesn't look like triggerbot, more like smooth aimbot on a demand (keypress, usually mixed with fire button). What Triggerbot does is it will automatically fire when crosshair is near the target within desired threshold, it not doing any aim adjustments, cheater will not fire, only aim. It is more used in games like counter-strike where cheaters can hold angles and catch people running out of a corner.

This is not a triggerbot. Triggerbot just shoots when your mouse is over them. its one of the easiest ones to get away with anymore with people just calling flicks etc.
Vods like these makes me realize how many people don't realize how slow, or quick reactionary time can be. Like these 1/10th of a second moves are impossible but these people believe "Oh Mr. Streamer I make those every day." Bro you couldn't hit the broad side of the earth, yet you think you can make accurate adjustments within a 1/10th of a second.
