4:45 this moment is incredibly funny to me. Because one time I walked out of a building, fat fingered a helix, and hit a cloaked Sombra in the legs. I was so surprised, that it took both of us like a whole second to process WTF was going on. The funniest part, I got POTG shortly after that. So the POTG just starts with me and Sombra staring at each other for like .5 seconds before I shot her and then took out 3 more with visor.

@@gren4586 Sadly I didn't. This was back in Season 1 before I started following the greater OW community. I wish I had, I want to submit it to one of Emongg's POTG videos. Although my brother has a POTG saved as Sigma where he was literally slept for 1/2 of it. Because Ana slept him when he was on point and then C9'd

Had a quickplay game where this poor dude was just getting shit on.
They swapped to Sombra and _immediately_ stepped in my Junkrat trap. I go over and they're looking at the floor in shame. They looked up at me, said hi, and I just shook my head and walked away. This guy just chillin there like Mexican Old Yeller, I can't do it to them lol

I had a moment like this in mystery heros where I was given reaper, and found myself in a bad spot, and accidentally teleported directly on top of her.

I like how sombra, a character that use hacks in game, is used to track real life hackers in their game

Unrelated kinda but Flats is 100% right about open queue, the tank HP nerf made it so that stacking tanks isn't really blatantly overpowered anymore, you just HAVE to do it if you want actual tanking ability. A single 300 hp JQ or Doom is just gonna get focused and deleted
Should do like a negative health multiplier for the amount of tanks instead of just being flats
And then you got the completely unbalanced HP nerfs, Roadhog or wreckingball who still have insane hp plus their overhealth/selfheal that isnt nerfed. Compared to poor winston who doesn't have the hp to survive a dive in any non-roleque.
I always have 4 tank and me as the one support in open que lol
Let's not pretend like it wasn't just stacking tanks before. Now at least it's not as effective.

I think what upsets me more than anything is 99% of the time cheaters will talk smack in chat like they are amazing. Bad game sense and all yet they will act like they are an OWL player 🙄
What's hilarious is they have to cheat just to stay in Gold rank, like they are pretty bad at the game and it's nothing to brag about winning a gold match with cheats.

@@wusaint Believe me it happens in the other ranks as well, at least up to Diamond. Both the cheating and the trash talk, can't tell you the number of times it was actually a really close match that came down to OT and someone on the other team starts with the "zzzzzz" or "EZ" stuff and then it just escalates from there, lol.
@@TeKnoVKNG23 I know the feeling bro lol. And the cheating...I swear that there just isn't any anti cheat at all. Only time someone gets banned is when multiple people report. I find a cheat in at least one to two lobbies per day.

For what it's worth, the visor at about 7min he's trying to hit the Sombra the whole time, but since she's invis it locks onto lifeweaver and he can't hit her. We get a glimpse of it when Flats checks the 3p PoV, but he moves on without rolling it back to check the early half of the visor. Guarantee that's what was going on though.

Tbf after multiple deaths the waters were throughly tested and he should swap to something that can better deal with hacks than just running around as sombra saying, "Look he's cheating!" OW is one of the few games where you can deal with hackers especially shit hackers because of the variety of abilities. Sombra and invis is not one of them

To be fair, I didn't read it that way and Flats might not've either. I read that as implying that friend is newer to the game and went Sombra to try the character out, test the waters. If all she was doing is checking for a cheater and she knew he was cheating, staying Sombra was dumb as fuck.

@@Antonio-ys5zd The annoying part of playing ball is that after the fist fight the entire enemy team swaps to try and counter you, although the Sombra usually only knows how to play them 30% of the time
@@Pingoz I've had teams try to counter me before. Somehow they don't do it right and I just make it to health packs and repeat. I literally hunted a Bastion one whole game on circuit royal. Fun shit haha

This guy did not want to out himself by shooting the sombra, so he keeps trying to pull away. His aim hacks are too strong for him to control, though, so it keeps pulling back to make the twitchy effects. And that just incriminated him further.

I watch kill cam because I like to see how I messed up from the enemy pov and correct it. I feel it’s the best way to learn from mistakes in this game
I turn off killcams cause watching people accidentally kill me by whiffing shots randomly or catching me at 1hp just tilts me, i cant handle it.

I also turned it off. Just because I don't want my vision to be obscured my somethig that happened 15 seconds ago. I am more interested in what my team is doing currently and watching the enemy burn their cooldowns/ults before i get there.
Unless I'm hunting hackers I don't care about killcams. And even then, there is a replay feature too.
On the bit about turning off kill cam, the reason why I have mine off, or I completely skip it is cuz I know there can be cheaters in my matches and I don't like hard-focusing on that when I notice it. Cuz, when I do notice it, I start to slack and give up mid-match, which doesn't feel good. Rather, I try to blame it on my positioning or game sense than just a dirty cheater. If that makes sense.
I like to keep mine on so that when I catch a cheater, I can make sure to focus them more and make the game that much harder for them.
2:19 the problem I have with the double shield meta that they didn't fix with OV2 is that they're focused on SHIELDS and not FIRE POWER! You want to know what the most defensive role in TF2? FIRE POWER ROLES! Heavy, Solider, etc. There is a reason why TF2 doesn't use tanks, they use defensive roles.
I think OW must be the only game where aimbotting & wallhacking actually hinders you more than helps, especially if your new to the game 🤦♂
I remember calling out a cheater and the entire game was saying he wasnt... Until he got potg, their opinions soon changed 😂, next day i woke up to a "thanks for reporting" message. This was before overwatch became F2P though

I think that shake at the five minute mark, where Flats thought it was an "I fucked up" shake wasn't that, because he nodded after.
That was a "no no no, no hiding" shake, then nodding as he killed him as if to show dominance. A cheater with an ego makes literally zero sense.

12:30 I've actually been in a ranked game before where one of my teammates were offended at the fact that kill cams were a thing and kept on talking trash on Blizzard for allowing such a thing (especially at the fact that it is on by default). I attempted to explain the benefits of seeing how and why the fuck you died and also how if gives you some important info if you cant ult track well. Anyways they were fucking useless in helping my team and left on last point in midtown. This was a Gold game at the time btw and we fucking won without his ass.

I'm platinum 4 reinhardt one trick in open queue, but in role queue my tank is gold 4 atm, so from my experience open queue is about a full rank difference. I thought this was a skill issue from me but it seems this is just normal Thanks flats always learn something here

See, sombra's team could have won, but because this is gold, and bastion is basically being another tank currently that had a mercy riding him hard it was kinda hard for them
12:42 i generally play w them turned off bc i would normally skip them anyways bc i already know what mistake i made that got me killed, and i can spend that time getting 3rd person intel from my teammates. ill only ever turn them back on if enemy kills start getting too good to not b suspicious.

Ive had kill cams off as long as I can remember. Other than not wanting to see myself die again, i feel as though watching someone else POV immediately keeps me in the moment strategically for what I should do next possibly? I usually play Tank/Supp

I’ve played against this dude before. I was one of the healers and I had watched this video a few minutes before I told the whole lobby and after a while they saw it and held the game up for like fourty five minutes and spawn camped him until he rage quit. It was fucking glorious

I somehow had my kill cam off, even though I never turned it off/messed with those settings to my knowledge. Probably happens to a decent amount of people. I have gotten pretty good at knowing when people have them cause they start playing a little diff. (Not always ofc)
The worst part wasn’t the cheater. It was his teammates who still played even though they had a obv cheater in their team.

i dont have my kill cams OFF, but i usually do skip them once i see the ult charge of whoever killed me because having battlefield info is more important imo

Cheating is SO PROMINENT in OW2. There are SO MANY soft lock aimbots in every single game. They'll snap off screen and get headshots, tanks that are in melee yet somehow stay LOCKED on heroes, even on moiras using their fade, it's just POINTLESS to play the game anymore.
It was estimated that there are 800k-1m active players, yet 250k have been banned, that means that nearly 1/3 of all players are BLATANTLY cheating... What was in in OW1 where it was something like over 100 of the top 500 were banned for cheats, and again that's JUST the ones they know they have caught... It's just like, give everyone a soft lock and reward those who aren't cheating for the ones that played against banned cheaters... 1,000 things they can do to fix this problem and they don't give a flying fuck, oh btw pay $40 for this limited skin... Blizzard has outdone EA for years now as the worst PoS gaming company...
Why wouldn't the Sombra translocate though?
