We ALL came across this video at one point in our childhood. This was long before I ever watched Saving Private Ryan for the first time....good memories man. And the animations are actually pretty sick
Nick Tasy Never realized that the audio came from Saving Private Ryan, I must’ve been like 8-9 years old watching this and that was a few years after it came out.
Yea I was like 8-9 going through my LEGO faze and didn’t realize until watching private ryan like 1-2 years as of me commenting this that the Audi came from private Ryan
Hey everybody. I want to inform you about whats going on now. Im happy to see that my movies are still watched and appriciated - and that people who watched them years ago still watch it. I am 26 years old now, i am married and my second child will come any day now, so i will probaly not make any new movies for the next years. Besides, as most swiss men - i do my military service (mechanised infantry) so I think Sgt. Winterbottom is satisfied, even though my rank (solider) is not as high as his ... So i want to say that you to all loyal watchers and i am proud and glad that i have inspired a lot of people to make Brickfilms. Its crazy - this movie is soon 10 years old and will also have 10 million views =O
Coming back to this years and years later still amazed this is exactly what I was into as a kid, JS legomaster always had awesome videos I even made my own account after him, DS legomaster haha and made some videos, crazy work man wonder if he’s locked out of the account
I used to watch this when I was 13 years old I’m currently 19 man and all I can say is thank you for making these videos I for making my childhood one of a kind.
yeah this gave me inspiration for making animations as well when I watched this for the first time, I was seven when I started and I am continuing to perfect them today
Wow! I was half my age when I first watched this video (aged 24 now), I remember watching it as soon as it was released. I spent so much money on Brickarms gear and I spent ages trying to find the minifigure head of the main character. What a masterpiece creation, watching some of the latest stop motion videos they are much more impressive from a technical aspect but just seem too animated compared these older ones which I much prefer.
Im reading pretty much every comment =) They are the old ww2 ones, sold like 3 years ago but i got tons of them and i see no reason to replace em, they still look good
Today is Veteran’s Day and my grandpa that served from 1943-1946 also would’ve turned 100 years old today. He’s also the reason I have so many LEGOs and watched these growing up. Thank you for making these videos.
wrong, as i explained many times, I am adult now, 21 years old. Got a real job and not much free time. Maybe you will understand that when your older to
These were some of the first videos I ever watched on UA-cam, together with star wars stop motions. These childhood memories man its incredible, thank u very much hope u are still ok out there! :,)
This is a scene from the movie, "Saving Private Ryan" with Tom Hanks. If you wanna watch it, it's a great movie. This is a picture perfect rendition of the film.
I saw this way back in 5th grade, a good few weeks after it was dropped. I didn't watch Saving Private Ryan until 2021 and realized the soundbites were pulled from there.
Man I watched this and so many other brick films back in the day. It always inspired me to build and create things myself! You truly don’t realize how innocent things are during your childhood.
Broooooo, I remember when you first put out this video. It inspired me sooo much. My friend and I would brick film Lego WW2 all the time because of this. I probably watched this vid at least 100 times. It had to be the best 4 minutes of my childhood. Thanks so much :).
JSLegoMaster you are an inspiration and I thank you so much for giving me ideas in my stop-motion films. I know you are busy and much older than me, but I would love to see a new video posted soon.
First off, great video. But you know what kind of sucks? The are no, literally, _no_ modern warfare Lego stop-motions that are, you know, decent. They're all either: - Call of duty based, Battlefield based, etc. - Made with CGI - Have awful cameras - Have bad editing - Have just plain bad animation - Have a coherent story - Or have bad models Thumbs up if you agree Now, better to light a match than curse the darkness, so. I'm gonna make one. Again, great video. It holds a very nostalgic spot in my mind
AWESOME!!! Really liked this one! Never seen a LEGO WWII Stopmotion featuring the 82nd! Liked the sound effects from Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers!Well done; 10/10 stars!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
hey jslegomaster.I love the stuff your doin.I even recreated the battle of ramelle and hurtgen and some of the germans and american soldiers you made.I think every thing is awesome.Keep up the great work!!
Dude I remember this from when I was a kid I tried making the videos too, it’s crazy how much this influenced me when I was younger I even bought the brickarms
I love how you mixed saving private Ryan and band of brothers sounds into it that being the German chatter from band of brothers which was a good touch
Lol it made me create my own stop motion stuff but it was never as good as this
Yea I was like 8-9 going through my LEGO faze and didn’t realize until watching private ryan like 1-2 years as of me commenting this that the Audi came from private Ryan
I'm back 11 years later and think of this every day 😂
Wow this brings me back
Please rise and pay respect for the most nostalgic ww2 animation.
Indeed.
God job
the most nostalgic ever.
I see you everywhere
tbh I think JSLegoMaster's battle of Hurtgen was more nostalgic, even if it has since been taken down.
Hey everybody. I want to inform you about whats going on now.

Thus used to be my favorite back then, recently I've just been going on a little nostalgic trip and boy oh boy does this take me back
Coming back to this years and years later still amazed this is exactly what I was into as a kid, JS legomaster always had awesome videos I even made my own account after him, DS legomaster haha and made some videos, crazy work man wonder if he’s locked out of the account

I was searching everywhere for this! I watched it when I was younger but the recommendations blessed me.
Much better than Saving Ryan's Privates!
This is the film that should have won the awards!
Anybody else love how the guy is aggressive and took out three guys on his own by close combat?
Im reading pretty much every comment =)
They are the old ww2 ones, sold like 3 years ago but i got tons of them and i see no reason to replace em, they still look good

Yea i think he is using voice clips from saving privet ryan
He is he is even using voice over's from Band of Brothers which isn't cool thinking that this video is taken from the ending of saving private ryan.
Sean Sullivan das ist genau die Schlacht von der Soldat James Ryan
Mhm
Sean Sullivan Nope, Band of Brothers

I saw this way back in 5th grade, a good few weeks after it was dropped. I didn't watch Saving Private Ryan until 2021 and realized the soundbites were pulled from there.

F to pay respects for this 14yrs old video🫡
Man I watched this and so many other brick films back in the day. It always inspired me to build and create things myself! You truly don’t realize how innocent things are during your childhood.
8 years later and found this nostalgic piece that made my childhood :)
Broooooo, I remember when you first put out this video. It inspired me sooo much. My friend and I would brick film Lego WW2 all the time because of this. I probably watched this vid at least 100 times. It had to be the best 4 minutes of my childhood. Thanks so much :).
Digging up this nostalgic piece during the pandemic really brings me back to my childhood!
Bro I’ve been searching for this video for forever and I finally found it. Saving this in a nostalgia playlist so I don’t lose it again
This is my entire childhood
The closest we got to 'Saving Private' Ryan squad and 'Band Of Brothers' boys crossover.
this seemed like it took alot of work, it was pretty cool man keep up the good work! :D
Man that first kill was just brutal. Close range to the face from an MG
The nostalgia is crazy rn
JSLegoMaster you are an inspiration and I thank you so much for giving me ideas in my stop-motion films. I know you are busy and much older than me, but I would love to see a new video posted soon.

I miss Jonathan Schneider and his animations, he was my childhood

Woah, that is an awesome film same w/ battle of Hürtgen!
I really miss my old days
The memories. I used to watch this a lot when I was a kid.
First off, great video.
But you know what kind of sucks?
The are no, literally, _no_ modern warfare Lego stop-motions that are, you know, decent.
They're all either:
- Call of duty based, Battlefield based, etc.
- Made with CGI
- Have awful cameras
- Have bad editing
- Have just plain bad animation
- Have a coherent story
- Or have bad models
Thumbs up if you agree
Now, better to light a match than curse the darkness, so.
I'm gonna make one.
Again, great video. It holds a very nostalgic spot in my mind
I always love coming back to this classic gem of a video.
