Some great information and will watch again to make sure I take some notes. I contacted processing software they use and was told their subscriptions start at $2500/ month!!!
The guys from Division 7 mentioned opportunities as employees. Are the remote pilots operating on their personal certificates and how does that work with liability. Seems like there might be a conflict between the boss telling an RP to do something that the RP doesn't feel comfortable with. Is a liability reimbursement in addition to their employee comp package? They mentioned a 50k compensation package which might be okay in certain geographic areas but it depends on whether or not the employees incur their own operating expenses. Optelos looks pretty cool. I want to go check it out but I'm afraid to see what it cost LOL
20:18 it may just me, but it kind of sounded like they don’t really want to hire independent operators to do their work. So do they? I didn’t see anything else in the video or elsewhere in regards to hiring anybody or what they would pay. 🤷♂️
Yes. Waypoint missions are very popular and most consumer and professional drones have that capability. The thing is that while the Drone flies it's waypoint mission the remote pilot still needs to follow all the regulations such as keeping it within line-of-sight. Therefore, the waypoint mission cannot take the Drone further away and then the RP can see it.

Hey! Are lightweight semiautonomous (waypoint) drones legal in the us?
Yes. Waypoint missions are very popular and most consumer and professional drones have that capability.
