I love crows too. They’re the mayors of bird town, strutting their stuff. They chase predators away. When I hear them cawing out here, they’re usually on the job chasing away cats or birds of prey. When we have bread to spare, I make little peanut butter sandwiches for them. I also love watching you stitch. Those ribbon leave are especially cool. Thanks!
One of the best things I picked up from you is using a patterned base cloth. (now have a stash of checked table cloths). Also I sometimes wrap a colonial knot 2or 3 times, no one ever told me I couldn't!1
Thank you so much for making these videos showing your stitches from the book. I have that book and can’t wait for your new one due here in the states next month. I have it on preorder from Amazon. I am so excited! I just LOVE your videos and once again thanks for taking the time to make them.
Thank you Jennifer, lovely to have you back! My son has pre ordered your new book as a Mother’s Day gift for me, really excited about receiving it. I use all your books as a resource and inspiration, so helpful.
Beautiful twig im going to do this one. Love your books so inspirational its always thry are always nearby me and lokkingvfurwards to the pre ordered next one later this year! Lovely to have you back too xxx
Love your starting background of this piece so it'll be interesting to see the stitching that you add. What you've done already is a great combination.
Such a simple yet elegant piece and you make it look so easy. I am glad to see I'm not the only one to pop out of my hoop or pick up the back of the fabric. I love the book and have preordered the new one.
You can have many wraps on a Colonial knot as I have done it many times I learned about Colonial knots from Judith Baker Montano also learned silk ribbon embroidery from her a number of years ago ❤️
Thank you Jennifer for your video. It is so nice to see these stitches from your book come to life. I keep it with me when I stitch. What I love is you don't just say here is a book of how to do stitches but you give us these wonderful combinations to get us started on our creative journey. I sat in my friends garden stitching (she does not stitch) with your little caddy, set out my teeny pin cushion, 3 needles, ribbon all ironed and off I went. The chit chat ended up all about the caddy and why 3 needles. When I go back next week I will be taking some supplies as I think there is a convert coming into the fold she was fascinated with your book.
So lovely to see you on line again today! My second cup of coffee was delicious because I shared it with you. This stitching is so pretty on your linens!
Hi Jennifer, i have a mini hair straightener that I use on my silk ribbons & pass it through when working on it, I bought your book on crazy patchwork ages ago & find it ab great! Jennifer in the UK. X
I have bought your flower book and love it. I’ve just started getting into embroidery and love it…. Your new book in on pre order…..love seeing your stitch and I can also refer to the book
I love your videos and just brought your book...so amazing and I am loving this new craft for me...have been cross stitching for years but just started slow stitching and ribbon embroidery! So thank you for all you do!
Hi, I do have ongoing workshops here on the Sunshine Coast. If you would like to order the thread packs please mail us vaughn59@bigpond.net.au. Also, ask about the classes and I will give you all the info. X
Hi Sandy, I very very very seldom use stranded cotton. And if I do, I use just one strand to create texture. Perle 8 is my favorite thread. It is a twisted thread which cannot be separated. Hope this helps.
Hi Do mean what type of thread or which brand? Mostly I use a twisted thread a Perle #8, #12, #16. I use a variety of Brands - valdani, chameleon, colour streams. Hope this is the info you were looking for. 🐦⬛🪡🪡
Hi Marion, My UA-cam channel is what I feel like doing on the day. It was never my goal to teach - simply to stitch. Perhaps, there are other channels that will give you of what you are after. Happy stitching! Jenny C

@ yes that was what I was wondering. I live in Canada and sometimes it is hard to find things. Thank you so much.
Great but less twigs and more flowers would be nice. I have so many colours waiting to be used. Thanks Marian

Can we buy those colour packs and needles.?
Sewbits, You can buy the colour packs from me - please email us at vaughn59@bigpond.com.au 🥰
Not the needles, unfortunately
I go to the shop to buy plain thread, and come out with a dozen variegated ones 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
очень нежно получилось.Но ткань в полосочку я не буду использовать,найду другую фактурную ткань,возможно,мебельную или ткань для штор.
Thank you, but I like the stripe very much!
