I have so enjoyed watching your videos. All these years that I have stitched, I’ve never thought of saving my small pieces of threads and ribbons. It’s never too late to start.😊
Thank you for your stitching with us ,I am in America ,love hearing your birds , I am relaxing with your stitching you have taught me to use my ,tiny threads ,plus two cloths together ,enjoying your videos 🙂
I’ve just ordered your new book and discovered your channel. I love the birds in the background and you having a conversation with yourself about which thread to choose and is there enough! Thanks for sharing❤
Thank you Jennifer for your video and company. Oh my goodness what a shock you must have got with the guanna well done for continuing to film for us. How lovely does this piece look with straight stitch. I am delighted to say I now have an ORT jar, well 2 really. One is for useable ORTS and the other is for the bits you can do nothing with,I make them into ORT balls or dispose of the bits. I was given someone's threads who had stopped sewing and there was a bag with a tangle of thread. I had great fun untangling and adding to the jar of all useable thread for my daily snippets. I have your new book on pre order and I am so looking forward to it arriving. Happy stitching.
Hi Jennifer. I really really enjoy your videos. Gives me a lot of inspiration. I can not wait until JUNE 25TH. I will receive your new book. I have it preordered. I m so excited😊😊
It just amazes me how you just sit down and it comes out spectacular! I always watch you on the tv so don’t think I have ever commented but I do watch, like and SAVE all your videos to watch and rewatch !! And I created the wool clutch and so enjoyed it ! Maybe date the videos instead all the volumes etc etc .. that is very confusing to me!😂 I did silk ribbon embroidery in the 90s and had not picked it up again until you appeared on UA-cam!! I have since bought your books and I have particularly enjoyed the latest videos where you reference your books !! Better close .. like you I am afraid it’s getting too long!! Just love all the color you use especially the piece in your intro and oh oh .. all The various pin cushions !!! ❤❤❤❤take care
Hi, thank you! Which wool clutch did you do? Unfortunately, I work very intuitively, so my videos are all over the place but I think I will continue not to stress about it all. Thank you for the comment! 🐦⬛🪡🐦⬛🪡🐦⬛🪡
@@jenniferclouston7545 The octagon paper piecing clutch … I had never worked with wool and embroidery together except to do the collars of men’s suit jackets with lace and silk ribbon. Remember the boyfriend jacket craze in the 90s?!😝🤣I just love you … so plz don’t give up on UA-cam !! ❤️♥️
Jennifer! I am also from the USA and I laugh with your Afrikans sayings, makes me want to hear more!! 🤗🤣 I'm happy that you've become much more comfortable on video and want to thank you for sharing your love of stitching enough to urge me to go find my silk ribbon, Floss and goodies packed away since my younger days in the 80's! I even went and found perle cotton in size 8 and 12 locally like you suggest. I love your Foolproof Flower Embroidery book that pushes me to continue to turn the pages slowly and enjoy each type of stitch for the beauty that they are. Thank you for your love of stitching and helping me find mine again. 💓
My such a lovely young lady you are Miss Jennifer…you randomly popped up in my suggested feed and I’m just thrilled that your film did! I’m new to stitching and I feel as if I’m home. Thank you ✌️🤍
I completely agree that you can do very interesting work with a limited amount of stitches. I use mainly stem, fly, and knots. I can create an entire meadow with just those stitches by varying the thread size and color.
Does the goanna bite? It would shake you up a bit. Like when I go to put my foot down and there is a snake slithering by. I'm not afraid of snakes but it's the surprise. I love your 15 minutes of stitching. Do you see it in your head before you start or do the straight stitches just start and you fill it in. I really envy people who do that. Anyway thank you for stitching with me today. ❤
No, I think they are not dangerous- but they are big! I do not see it in my head before I start stitching - I simply start! But I have been doing this practice for so many years - it’s not easy to do but with practice it becomes so enjoyable! 🐦⬛🪡🐦⬛🪡
Your stitching this morning was so simple yet beautiful! I can understand how you felt after that big animal came out of the bush. Sometimes when I take my dog out to play the black racer snakes come slithering out of my bushes. They are nonvenomous but huge. My heart is pounding for minutes afterwards. I applaud you stitching while recovery from your scare!
I just learned about a year ago about using double fabric when doing needlework. I had no idea and I have been stitching since I was very young. I have taken up wool embroidery the last few years and I am a quilter. I am now hand embroidering my quilt labels and you have inspired me so much.
Counting the days till the new book arrives. It is scheduled for delivery on June 25 and I can’t wait. I understand the brown thing, it’s my least favorite colors well. Thanks for sharing, for some reason the snippets make my coffee taste better. 😉💕
