Anyone who is interested in seeing the process and options of these kind of mousepads that exist, I made a new video showcasing all of it. ua-cam.com/video/sUOgRLFAnfw/v-deo.html
I've actually had the exact opposite experience with the Taobao skypad feet. When I bought my 3.0 replica, the feet were a lot stickier and gripped a lot better. I also ordered a custom artwork Wallhack 4.0 (coated + full primer) from PAN Gaming. The glide is slightly faster, but honestly, it is the same as the 3.0 version. I live in China currently, so the pads are a lot cheaper than going off of superbuy. I'm not sure how good Joker Game's pads are, but from what I was told by him, the 4.0 coating was a temporary anti-sweat coating that wears off after a year or so and then the glide becomes more similar to a 3.0.
@plomfy unfortunately I don't have any pads from Joker Game, but from what I've heard, their Skypad 3.0s are pretty much the exact same. You can't really go wrong with either
@anthonyd5996 good to hear as i bought a miku one from joker and i didnt know if there was a big difference as i cant read chinese lol tho its only like 20 bucks so ill live even if its a acam
Hi, could I ask some questions about how you bought the custom pad? 1. Did you contact/talk through taobao or superbuy? 2. How much more did it cost? 3. How long did it take? Thanks
@@HXISE I don’t really keep up to date with the skypad drops anymore, but I haven’t seen anything on Twitter, so I’m gonna assume there isn’t one coming yet.
You say you're getting scammed if the pads are costing $30 something dollars to make but are being sold for $100+, but this is normal. For example, the wooting module costs them $35 to produce, but they sell it for $155 (this was leaked by one of their partners on twitter accidentally before it was deleted). This is completely normal in almost every industry, because production cost is not the only cost to consider. Why do you think the 512gb iphone costs $500 but is sold for $1200, or that IEMs can cost $75 to make but sold for $400? These are called "margins" and 3-4x margins are totally normal in every industry.
@@xblur17 I never said you’re getting scammed. All I stated is you can get the same performance and whichever aesthetics you want as a consumer for significantly less.
I got a frenzy sora copy after failing to get one on the drop and the quality is great. Also took around 2 weeks for me. Bundled that with a shiny yume copy and it ran me about 95€ total for both pads to EU. Your review is great but you shouldn't buy resale if you want the old designs. It doesn't support Skypad/Wallhack. I would support them but limited drops are really consumer unfriendly.
@@itzKami It's not actually the 4.0 surface but still their 3.0 clone just with the frenzy sora design so it should feel like your yuki pad. I like that surface so it's not a problem for me. I looked at many soras online and the copy is really spot on visually aside from the base which is just a plain white rubber like the 3.0 with optional feet that were in the box.
I don't have a link, but I live in China rn. Most ppl order from PAN or JokerGame. I ordered a 3.0 with the padsmith dark chaos design, and it's the exact same glide and surface as my skypad 3.0

@@ilikewater9302 For the price, no. I don't think you'll see much improvement in terms of price to performance especially when you already have a 3.0. If you like a design of a specific 4.0 then it might be worth, but just for gaming purposes, nah.
It helps, but it depends on the glasspad. My arm doesn’t stick to the replica skypad, but the original 3.0, I would have to use a sleeve. You can get away without using a sleeve on the Razer atlas as well due to the coating on it. Although, it would be best to always use a sleeve for consistency.
@@itzKamithanks for the quick reply! Unfortunately they did not implement a better capcha system thus i didnt get it due to skill issue so im thinking of copping one off taobao ;-;.
