UPDATE: thanks to a nice commenter I am now aware that ALL versions of this keyboard can go down to 0.02 lift off distance after you update the firmware in the browser! Save your money people! Also, changing the polling rate is NOT possible as far as I am aware unless you own the R version of the keyboard ($70). I was able to click different polling rates in my software due to a visual bug that made my mad60 show up as a mad68 R. I thought I was changing the polling rate, but since my keyboard doesn’t support it I wasn’t doing anything. Also explains why it didn’t have any effect on my CPU. I have since unpaired the board from the software and re-paired it, it now shows up as a mad60 and the option is gone. This really sucks if you ask me! There is now a no rbg version of the white one available as there wasn't one before, a 1000hz version of the white one has also been added along with a white version of the 68R configuration. I got this info from my retailer and my friend that asked their customer service in JD (chinese marketplace).

@@remedyy7804 I have around 50 hours of game time on the board now. I was using rapid trigger along with low actuation and low lift of distance the whole time. Thanks for asking I hope you find your answer!!
Do you have any idea if this fits aftermarket wooting cases? Or can you compare screw wholes with a wooting board. I've been eyeing this keyboard for a while especially the 68 one. Im thinking of buying this but im scared of getting bullied for having a ripoff by my friends which have a wooting, i just dont want to spend a whole $200-$300 on a keyboard.
Definitely not hard to make a better keyboard than wooting, there are better cases, better (sounding) switches and smoother stabs all over the place, the "mother brand" probably owns the factory wooting order their cases from, what is more difficult is to make a better software and eventually a 2 to 4 years warranty ( and are fine with using ANSI layout ). But i agree if you want to try how it feel to use a HE keyboards whithout having to pay 175€ for a wooting, go for this one, turns out, HE is fine but personally i still do prefer using a mechanical one.

Yo trix amazing video brother just wanna point out that i actually own the 68r version and its actually kinda different. I get your point every variant on this keyboard is actually good but i compare the sound and my switches (kunlun ones not the same as you have) are much creamier and sound better. Also I`ve looked at a lot of chinese and indian and every review and the 68r actually has less imput delay than all the others and also less imput delay that most flagship hall effect keyboards on the market. I just wanted to say this to clarify if someone still had doubts on which version to pick. Anyways amazing review and video brother keep the amazing work up!
Thanks for clarifying! Yeah I knew they were different but I meant that you wouldn’t really feel the minimal difference in latency. Maybe I should have worded it differently. Thanks for clearing this up!
hi, so I can get any option and it will be 0.02 lift? also, do you think this is a better option that logitech g413 SE TKL, i am unsatisfied with it and i wanna change it
Ordered the white ultimate because of your review thanks so much! Just a question if you dont mind tho if youve played fortnite with this how close/comparable would you say it is the wooting's performance in fortnite.
@ no I didn’t notice anything. The delay people are talking about is about a few milliseconds. Nothing noticeable, just looks “bad” in a spreadsheet. The board still have better latency than any normal mechanical keyboard. And is on the better side for budget Hall effect boards.
The polling rate, and the switches are different. But only feel wise. They won’t perform any differently. For OSU I might recommend the non flagship version. As these have a lighter required force to press I believe.
Just increases the cost. As i mentioned in the video you and I won’t ever feel the difference. Side note the new firmware update made it so all versions of this board can do the 0.02 :)
It probably would, and yeah the case sucks I have one aswell. Almost all of my 60% boards (including this one) sit in a TOFU60 redux from KBDfans. I know it’s the cliche option but it’s the best option.

The problem with the gammakay is the presence of deadzones which is rather self-explanatory. So I'd like to know if the madcatz has any of these problems.
@@remedyy7804 I have around 50 hours of game time on the board now. I was using rapid trigger along with low actuation and low lift of distance the whole time. I personally did not feel any issues or differences from my wooting. Not saying there aren’t any differences but I did not notice any. I’ve performed just the same in gaming as I would have on my wooting or my apex pro. But I do realise this is all subjective as I don’t have a great rig to test all this latency and stuff. Thanks for asking I hope you find your answer!!

Yeah this one does look just like a wooting haha. Enjoy your board!
Yeah that sounds about right. The base wooting configuration is pretty hard to justify for the price. But nothing beats the software and customer support they offer. Thanks for watching friend!

@trixsquid should i go for mad 68r or 68he ?
The r allows you to change the polling rate if that is important to you.
What is the difference from the flagship and the cheaper RGB version? I mean the switches. I'm buying it for osu, so switches are extremely important
The polling rate, and the switches are different. But only feel wise. They won’t perform any differently. For OSU I might recommend the non flagship version. As these have a lighter required force to press I believe.
@TrixSquid ok, thank you, I'll buy the non flagship version then

Is the 0.02mm trigger point adjustment really useful for the vast majority of players, or does it just increase the cost for users?
Just increases the cost. As i mentioned in the video you and I won’t ever feel the difference. Side note the new firmware update made it so all versions of this board can do the 0.02 :)
Think about how small a millimetre is. Now imagine a distance 50 times smaller than that. How big a difference do you think that's going to make?
