Daniel definitely comes across as very down-to-earth and likable. I'll miss his Bond, which was a genuinely outstanding representation of the character.
And that quip about Q’s hairless cat in “No Time To Die” was a one good example.
Agreed. He is my favorite Bond. I have a nostalgic attachment to Moore & Connery.
Yes indeed we will miss him. No one since Connery had just the right mix of suave, dry wit and boldness- that brought the series back from the edge of absurdity.

I appreciate how good Steven is as an interviewer. He could sense Daniel was shy and starting to feel a bit overwhelmed and kind of got him loosened up and laughing by offering to stare at him in silence.
As someone who was there at the filming, he definitely was and one woman yelling for him didn't help.

@@jakehowie442he might not be shy but he called himself a recluse, I think. If you watch interviews with him sheet they annoyed he was Bond and compare them to a few months later when they gave him interview training, you can really see how much work he put into it
Craig's Bond redefined the character. Best Bond since Connery.
He went back to the rawness of the character in the original books.
Not a big bond fan but Casino Royale is one of my all time fave films as it was brutal and believable. He did a cracking job 👍
I think Craig was/IS the best bond due to the story writing, acting, story telling.. felt like a real story not with corny characters etc..
Remember that Dalton managed to keep the franchise alive!

I can see why people miss The Colbert Report, but I find the interviews more enjoyable now that he doesn’t have to filter his questions through the guise of his right-wing persona. Now he can have a relaxed conversation and he is quite good at it, certainly better than Fallon.

Seemed genuinely nervous which reveals his humility.
Goodness, he's humble and definitely has a bit of vulnerable anxiety on display, which is all the more refreshing given his success and merits.
That's kind of a thing with stage actors, they realize and respect the tight rope they walk every night on the stage, and it keeps them grounded. Craig is a class act.
What a gentleman, he didn't launch Stephen across the room on his own show during the arm wrestle like he could have quite easily. Lol!
He already did back in 2010-ish when he was on the show to promote The girl with the dragon tattoo. He probably doesn’t want to embarrass Stephen a 2nd time 😂
Daniel is a legend, and I'm soo pleased that he paid homage to Judy.
You could see the raw emotion, the thrill of being in the spotlight, written all over Daniel's face and body language.
Even in his speech, he was so anxious to answer the question that he kept cutting Stephen off. 😄

The playbill’s cover artwork cleverly suggests that Lady Macbeth is ‘inside Macbeth’s head’ - i.e., she manipulates him to embrace her ambition, and execute her strategies; then Daniel Craig summarily dismisses that angle as “bullsh##”. 😄

Craig's Bond is the gold standard for me. If you want to check out his more indie work, I highly recommend Layer Cake, the role he had directly before bond.

The reason that MacBeth thought that he ought to be king goes back to the marriage of Kenneth MacAlpin to a Pictish Queen 7 generations before. They agreed to alternate between MacAlpin's Gaelic patrilineal rules of succession and his bride's Pictish matrilineal rules of succession (in which the next king is chosen from among all suitable male relatives of the queen). Duncan was the son of Queen Bethoc, daughter of King Malcolm II, but Duncan's nickname was 'an t-ilgarach' (the Diseased) and his cousin MacBeth probably felt that, as a superior (more healthy) candidate, he had the better claim.
Ok. Denzel Washington plays Macbeth and Frances McDormand plays Lady Macbeth on screen, now Daniel Craig plays Macbeth and Ruth Negga plays Lady Macbeth on stage. The world is really ok in some respects.

He'll make an amazing MacBeth - I like seeing a bit older actors such as Daniel Craig and Denzel Washington playing this character. It makes the character's ambition more understandable.

Macbeth is how we introduced our son to Shakespeare when he was 14. He loves Daniel Craig as Bond and saw the last movie 3x in the theater.

I would LOVE to see Ruth Negga. She was superb in Preacher. To date Dame Judi has been the best Lady Macbeth I have seen - I would be stoked to see what Ruth brings to the role.

You have to be respectful. After all, the ghost of the real Macbeth has had to put up with more than 400 years of being continually slandered by Shakespeare's attempt to suck up to King James and make him look like the villain.
