Agreed. You can tell he does his homework, puts the time to do a thorough research and as result doesn't ask the same questions over and over again, but instead asks more personal, intimate, yet not too personal questions - it's like it's personal enough to get an authentic answer, but not too personal to push the person away. That's how you do it

I have a top 300 favorite movies list, and only three of them before this one made the list, but I am not sure where to put this latest as I watched it with an autistic boy who had to go to the bathroom twice and he sits for awhile. What I do know is that it made the list and was better than the other two by Daniel Craig, but I am not sure if it beat "Goldeneye."
      140) 007: Goldeneye (1995)
      191) 007: Quantum of Solace (2008)
      249) 007: Skyfall (2012)
So what I can say is that Daniel Craig made the top 200 for sure. I think it is going to fall out above 140 and making this the best series of James Bond ever.

The only really bad film on Craig's era was quantum of solace, that shit was unsalvageable. You've either made that up or are remembering incorrectly. I worked for Odeon Cinemas from 2001 to 2008 as a projectionist. Layer Cake was released in October 2004. Never mind DVDs, I watched the original cinema print of Layer Cake and there is no such reference to Bond in that scene. Meaney's (who plays Gene in the film) line when XXXX picks up the gun is "Ah for fucksake" followed by "Here, let me see if it's loaded". So unless you are suggesting they added the line for the DVD release and then recalled the DVDs to replace them with an edited version at high costs (Layer Cake had a relatively modest budget to begin with), then like I mentioned above, you are either mistaken or telling porkies.

Craig's 'Casino Royale' will be very hard to beat, no matter who's in the role.

I was raised on Daniel Craig’s James Bond so seeing him go after so many fantastic films is a little bittersweet. All the best to whoever tries to fill the massive massive shoes he has left

Great interview. Very smooth, not boring. Very charming. The feedbacks between the two gave great chemistry. Daniel Craigs smile and laughter lit up the place. The interviewer's whole presence helped relax the environment. Good job.

I just watched it in theaters in korea. this was the best since casino royale. such a perfect finale and it totally kept the 007 legacy. daniel craig was the essence of 007 and himself as an actor...i was a teenager when casino royle came out and now i'm thirty. I'm mostly saddened but also so happy that i've followd him all these years. he is the best james bond ever. man...so many feelings...feelings.

I don't think Daniel understood Ali's comment at the end: "You've been brilliant"
It sounded like "for this interview",
But I think he meant "as Bond".
    Because he is.
The best Bond ever (sorry Sean).

Daniel and everyone in the production team kept the bar high from the very first movie till the latest! It's a great achievement and probably feels as a huge weight is now lift off his shoulders. He deserves all the happiness and praise.

The fact that Daniel Craig did one of the most self-assured characters in all movie history and he avoids eye contact in real person 😂, anyways hi is amazing !

He'll be dearly missed in this role. When I saw Casino Royale, Bond finally made sense to me, no previous incarnations actually made such an impact. See you next weekend in actual cinema Mr Bond!

The Craig films feel more like Jason Bourne than the James Bond we know and love. I hope with Daniel’s successor they make Bond fun again. 2015’s ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ proved that a Moore Bond film still works in this century so no excuse

Great interview bro! I'm really gonna miss Daniel as Bond because he brought a serious realism to the role that was more true to the original Bond character in Ian's books. ALL of the actors over the years who have portrayed Bond did a wonderful job of it, in their own style and way. I grew up with him and a bloody yank at that! I will ALWAYS be a huge fan!

God, I’m really gonna miss his portrayal, but I’m just so happy he came back to do one more. He’s genuinely my favorite bond, and the next bond actor is gonna have some BIG shoes to fill. Can’t wait to see the films that Daniel Craig does going forward; he’s an amazing actor.

What an incredible gentleman and he has great humility and humour. My favourite Bond as well. For those who love Craig's work I can highly recommend Archangel, filmed in Russia 2005. It is a ripper of a thriller and his character has a bit of Bond in it. It also has a strong, beautiful character who works as an equal next to him played by Ekaterina Rednikova.
