Hello! Great video - thank you! I’m only 1hr20 in but not sure I saw you roll a black die for the AI when it came to voting. Based on the result, you add additional votes on behalf of the AI in addition to the votes marked off on the board for them. Eg. the black die may add +0, +1 or +2 votes to their base result. There’s a tiny little reminder of this on the AI Mecatol Rex sheet just below the strength track. Thanks again and take it easy!
I think this title has pleasantly surprised a lot of players, and while it is NOT TI4, it does an admirable job of porting the essentials of its classic progenitor into a RnW format. 🖖
game is amazing. I wasn't too impressed with the voting system though, it's definitely not as involved as it is in TI4. The shear number of replayability options is insane. love it. definitely recommend.
The single player voting definitely feels weird, but multiplayer it felt pretty relevant. It was notably more fun than I expected. It's a solid heavy roll and write. Needs a variety of events for everything. Feels closer to 7 wonders (both in complexity and decision points, not in mechanics) than TI4, but that's fine. DON'T use water/spray when you clean, slightly damp paper towel or dry paper towel both worked fine for us.
Edward: Says the name of the most important planet on the map. TI fans: IT'S MECATOL, NOT MERCATOL. 🤣 But really, this game looks like a lot of fun with some neat choices. Thank you for showing it to us.
The worst part of watching these streams after the fact is when I see Edward miss something (although the chat usually helps him out in the end). It's like watching a horror movie, only instead of "Don't go in there" it's "Spend a good to get to Mecatol Rex!"
Excellent playthrough. Looking forward to viewing it again.

Enjoyable watch. I wasn’t really considering this, but now that I’ve seen it in action I just might.

Hmm, looks like the thumbnail for this one is Heading Forward instead of TI.
chill
Just found this and started vid, but right off the bat, nice camera work macro micro. Much less interested in the banter with chat participants.
