Are different planet boards provided?
As far as I understood the B-Sides are all the same but each board comes with a (somewhat) different A-Side. Really should check the stuff before I am playing... ;-)

If you desperately want a roll/flip and write and game, and this is your first exposure to this genre - "Twilight Inscription" may be not be your best choice ;-)

@@realjplay I've never played TI ... my group has never been able to get together reliably for a long enough period of time. It's also one of those games that I've always wanted to buy, BUT managed to talk myself out of buying - lol.
... maybe someday.
It's quite an investment; both time- and money-wise ;-) And my two go-to "dudes on the map"-games are "Star Trek: Ascendancy" and "Fief" (even though the latter is almost a war game) ;-)

I want to enjoy a game without having to have a PhD in Theoretical Physics!
Of all my board games ( and I have led 500) there have been some with badly written rule books but patience won in the end. However, for a R&W game I do not think it is necessary to make the game rules exhausting !

Thanks so much but I was comparing this to "Hadrian's Wall" and here I feel that this is definitely simpler :-D But yes - it's not an relaxing experience, such as "The Carthographer" or so ;-)

For the Mercantilist Obj you don't have to get the neighbor assets but the assets shown in those icons. One is just nord of Mecatol Rex and the other is on the upper right side of the map.

Just played another 3 player session yesterday, and everyone loved it!
Two things wrong that I saw. Your deployment of your first PDS should have been touching the bottom line. If you look at your board now, you actually never touched the bottom at all. Also, don't you have a special power on the bottom of your Character card that you aren't using? I haven't been able to quite make it out yet, but it seems to say that you can spend some resource every turn for free?
Ohhh - I believe I knew that but then forgot! Good catch! As for the second part: the other special ability only kicks in when you spend the appropriate resources (which I didn’t claim yet).
I do not understand how the game works, And i think get it.
The ink pen makes this game special.
I was honestly quite surprised by the color and how it looked on the sheet… 🤔

Ja - zu dem Zeitpunkt gab es die deutsche Version noch nicht, obwohl FFG/Asmodee diesmal wirklich schnell waren. Vielleicht schaue ich mir das Spiel noch mal Deutsch an ;-)

The most of is language independent. Of course the rules and some agenda cards may need some translation ;-)
