I work at a luderia (cafeteria with board games) here in Brazil called São Jogue. We will have the launch premiere of the game and your video helped me a lot to understand the dynamics of the game, before I even got my hands on it. Congratulations! The video is amazing
Great how to play video. Very helpful. Thank you! One small correction (15:30) you can build 4 units of one type, not just 3. In your case 3 with materials and one unith with the blue asset.
Excellent runthrough of the game, clear and easy to follow! But I gotta say, this game looks boring and doesnt tickle the imagination at all :/ Im willing to give it a shot of course if I ever get the chance to play it but I wont be buying it myself. RnR isnt a genre im generally interested in, being a TI spinoff would persuade me but I was expecting something much more interactive.
I made an expansion (and campaign) that's makes the game a bit more interactive (its the top variant on bgg). Ultimately though, the genre and mechanics don't lend themselves to interactivity
You forgot to mention the completely useless cardboard insert that serves no purpose. It's strange that TI4 has such a useful insert (though it often gets replaced anyway) that they obviously put a bit of thought into and yet for Inscription they didn't even bother.
@@CardboardCrashCourse The real question is, do you enjoy the game, or does it just feel like rolling and checking things off to you? I've heard some people say that it is really boring and it just felt like busywork rather than an actual game. One of the guys in our playgroup picked it up, but we haven't gotten a chance to play and it worries me that it will just be a boring slog and not fun at all.

Yes, you are right. Good catch!
Excellent how to play video! I just picked this game up and I'm looking forward to my first play.
The Federation of "soul" brought the pax funkatorium!
Excellent guide! I will have to watch it again once I actually get the game.
Thank you! I appreciate you and your support
Excellent video. Easy to fallow, and well explained.
I'm glad you enjoyed. Thank you!
The rule book states to start with a blue card, not a black card, when creating the event deck.
Yes, you are correct. Thank you for clarifying
Great video to get someone into the game easily! Subscribed and looking forward to the faction videos.

That’s fair enough! But thank you for the kind words all the same.

Oh man, absolutely. I have no idea why the box couldn’t have just been 50% smaller…
