HOW TO CLEAN A DYSON ANIMAL UPRIGHT BALL VACUUM | VACUUM DEEP CLEAN | IN DEPTH CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
I like that very important assembling happens outside the camera.
I also was enjoying that feature of the video.
He is a brave man
When maintained and not misused most Dyson models last 10 years. The older square head models(DC 07/14/33) even longer. Very good main motors.
Believe me they've engineered them so they don't last as long as the DC07 or DC14. Dyson has learned from their previous mistakes.

My DC07 is about 21 years old, probably because I vacuum once a year whether the carpets need it or not 😂😂
I lost the spring that pops out. Can I still use it?
can u replace the valve that directs the suction to the attachments
Yes .
I’ve completely disassembled this exact vacuum to deep clean. Granted, this was before I found your video. I’m working on reassembling it currently. I have to ask, because it’s driving me crazy and I might cry. I’ve got it completely back together with the exception of 2 TX15 screws with washers attached. Is there any chance you’d know where they’d belong? It has to be on the head of the vacuum but I’m driving myself insane at this point.
What vacuum do you recommend?

I got deeper into my UP19 and now trying to figure out where the powerhead wire goes inside the yoke. There is a wire clip I am trying to figure out.
I have the ball2 and accidently disengaged the roller/sweeper mechanism this morning vacuuming up a small this brass washer. How do I get at the belt that rolls the cylindrical sweeper 😂(that hopefully is merely fallen off it track)? Thanks in advance. 👍
If the rollers are not the problem then you need to change the whole cleaner head assembly.
@@PerformanceReviews Took me 2 hours but disassembled rollers completely cleaned and reassembled. No Dice. Im not bold enough to take motor apart. So only solution is New Heads from Dyson (about the same price as a whole new Bissell). Will buy a new head from Dyson as soon as get my new job. Thanks for your input. In the meantime just gonna use it on suction mode. 👍
What brand do you recommend?

what's the best vacuum in your opinion

Nice job! Do you use detergent in your dishwasher to clean the parts, or just plain water?
I use phosphate detergent.
There is no way I can do this by myself. I'm taking it to the shop.
Smart move!
The top part has no suction and the machine cuts off when sitting it upright. The bottom has very low suction and anything it picks up stays in the bottom and never reaches the canister. Time to replace?
Bring it to your local shop and see what they say it's never too soon to replace with a better machine.
I came for re-assembly help and the key moments for me are out of the frame. Egad!
Rewatch critical moments are in frame.
So... if you do not recommend Dyson, who do you recommend?

I own one of these pieces of garbage. I have an Australian shedder and thought this vacuum would be great to keep up with his fur. It pretty much just pushes the fur around the carpet and wraps it around the roller. 10 minutes into vacuuming, the bin is full, and it takes another 10 minutes to de-fur the roller. Biggest waste of $500 I've ever spent. After watching your video, I understand why it smells so much and works so poorly. Never again Dyson.
Buy a vac that takes a bag. Better performance and much easier to keep it clean and smelling good.
I would recommend a dyson ball animal 3 because its anti tangle
hmmm bosch dishwasher plays music when you turn it on.

Dysons do like the fine dust
4 years i just got rid of a hover that i had for 15 years. I saw 4 of these dysons balls in trash on same day defrent houses.
Shark is nothing to get excited about but atleast they put the belt at end of the power head.unlike this. What a flawed design .
Dyson is pretty good for full priced prototypes
Dyson does have their motors on the end of the cleanerhead. They have for years in the UK. The US designs are just now getting the direct drive head.
@@SonicSouz is that so? interesting .
@@Dankcatvacs Yes. They had a direct drive cleaner head in 2012 with the compact DC50 on US and UK models. The other models kept the older design. They switched over back to an updated direct drive head in 2017 I'm the UK. The US is just now getting a variant of this head for the full sized uprights.
I won't lie. The main reason I like Dyson uprights is because BALL. They look different than most other machines. Doesn't mean that's a good way to choose a vacuum. I've never bought a Dyson brand new though.
They do need to make the cyclone customer-serviceable, though.
NEVER LOSES SUCTION
😂😁
I mean if you don't maintain it what do you expect
Five malamutes and they thought Dyson was the key to a good clean... For the same price as that Dyson, they could've purchased a Sebo Dart.
They replaced it with a Henry pet care.
Never seen sebo advertising. Though
Don't buy the ones with the ball piece of junk first yellow one is the best mine burned in fire purple ball one is getting ready to fly out the up stairs window.
You’re going too fast and the camera angle makes following what you are doing difficult to follow.
You can slow UA-cam down if you need.
You got the power head motor wet in dish washer. You are daft
Not that that would hurt it but no the power head motor did not go into the dishwasher.
It's almost as though electronics don't like water with they're energized, which the power motor head wasn't, because it was in the dishwasher. Use your head
8:07 shows it on top rack
It's a bosh german made dishwasher. Does not harm electric motors
