I think the Cocteau's are the alien life we've been searching for on another planet in some distant galaxy. Only they're more colourful creative and intelligent than we are. And they communicate via these beautifully crafted songs.
Thanks for the post this was the song that started it all for me with the Cocteau Twins! I think this live version shows how they can put their own spin on a live version of a song. I can take something unique out of each album but for me Victorialand reaches the depths of my soul music has never reached in that same way.
Whenever i listen to them i be levitating. I love Cocteau Twins and how much they help me get through my life. I hope whoever is reading this is having the most beautiful lovely life they can possibly have.
@beepollen1 Isn't it a great song? One of my favorites off of "Treasure". I played that album so much when it came out, I thought my college roommates would bury it in the woods, but two of them ended up actually liking it a lot...
ab. so. lute. ly. GAWGUSS! luv the color scheme, SHUM! and this performance is simply outstanding. further proof - as though we need it - that LIZ FRASER has done for vocals and "lyrics" what the immortal Jimi Hendrix did for guitarwork.
This song is unreal.
beautiful video i love it so much
This is one of the best recorded documents of the vocal stylings of the "Voice of God"!
She is embarrassed by that you know" LOL'
The most beautiful of all songs!

And on the 7th day...Pandora by the Cocteau Twins... and God saw & heard that it was good!
Blessed we are with such great beauty!
And on August 30, 2020 this song still gives me goose bump, it’s my calm before the storm track among a few others.
RIP Shum!! You did this band UA-cam justice!!!
Rest in peace man and thank you for your accomplishments on this

Should have about 6 billion views shows how messed up the world is
True art doesnt need massive audience
Esos sonidos y esa voz...pueden llenar cualquier vacío.
Very inspired performance - Scat-singing Liz really gets in to the song here! Your video seems quite inspired as well - love the sepia tone!
Bell's Whisty, Arthur C. Doyle, and Cocteau Twins - the three best things to come out of Scotland.
This is absolutely beautiful - the song and the video just made it that extra bit special

Thanks ....fantastic version :)
Exelente
Это что-то ВОЛШЕБНОЕ...
абсолютно нереальное
I remember the L.P when it came out with all the songs female names.
Great!
I was trying to be funny. Lawrence Welk would not have covered this. Sorry for the confusion.
WOW....thanks for a smashing Sunday surprise, this is one of the BEST CT songs ever....Simply DIVINE!!
Ginger snaps 4 u Sir Shumey ::))
I cant find any cover of this by Welch on youtube or referenced elsewhere.
:) Perfect Sunday :)
Nice video treatment.
че бы там кто не пиздел, old school, классика - всегда будет в моде 📽🎞

13 years later and your words ring true :)
Personally, I liked the Lawrence Welk cover better.
The pandora records have this slamming loud beat on all the songs. Much better without it on this version
pearly gates await
