this interview came at the right moment for me, i got so many beats in stock cuz I was planning to chase placements and email beat packs to artists, but at the same time i really need the money more so building my youtube channel might be the way to go and am inspired by Ant Chamberlain so thanks to him and thanks Producergrind for the amazing podcasts, I had a history of selling several beats online already (most traffic and sales came from my youtube channel) and I took down my beat store for several months cuz I wasnt cooking up much and it wasnt selling (ironically, a day after i took down my store, a rapper DMed me on IG to try and buy an exclusive), but im learning a lot now from Ant and I dig the mindset he got and the hustle, so Ima start uploading more beats now, especially cuz Im quarantined and have an established workflow figured out, I can prolly push these beats online like crazy and be happy that my bills will get paid quicker than chasing placements, i love the fact that he emphasizes "be your own boss and invest in yourself", building my own brand has been my main focus
Yeah bro it’s best to drop on UA-cam and build your brand best move I made for myself, Chasing artist and placements koo but having your own business online beats, drum kits and Content that’s where it’s at 💯💰📈
*BEYOND RESPECT* For Ants discipline, this is an incredible interview. He lays it down, no bullshit, no self aggrandising. If you want it, you can get it, for sure. Reminds me of a quote from that old TV show 'Fame'. 'So, you want fame? Well fame costs, and right here is where you got to start paying... In sweat!' Any day you're not working towards your goal is a day your working towards failure.
Mans was def honest and the fact that he spoke about sync placements is super important, cause there is passive income in this even going back 10 year etc . no descrimination of genres as well super awesome
I'm a rapper and a part-time producer and this interview helped me a lot. I used to be that person that would make excuses or sit around and tell myself "if only I had this" or "this ain't working." Eventually I would go on and once 10th grade rolls around I realized that there is nothing else I want to do besides smoke weed, hang with my homies, and make music. I realized that life is too short to sit around and be someone's b**** or to settle without accomplishing something in life, and I just started going hard. I started to really care about this music shit and I realized that it not only helps me but it also helps others so I'm not only doing this for me but for those around me. Music brings us humans together and forms friendships and strong relationships and that's one thing I also love to do. So this music shit just made a lot more sense to me and I really started applying myself in the past 2-3 months. I don't even want a whole bunch of money, I just want to do something that makes me happy and can provide for me. I wanna see the world, I wanna help people, and I want to live my life doing me and I want to live it proudly. I was born to do this shit and I'm not saying that I'm a prophet or some shit, I'm just saying that I wake up with music ideas in my head, I wake up with visions, I wake up wanting to get shit done. Thank you again Producer Grind for sharing this and thank you Chamberlain for not being selfish and wanting to help us small guys exceed in this crazy industry
i swear chamberlain different, he got a whole different mood, a different mindset, a different way in his speak. he such a big inspiration, great interview!
Bruh, listening to this interview I have gained mad respect for you. I see so many beat makers that just make a beat and sell it, but then call themselves a producer. That's not a producer. You actually get in the studio with the artist and make your beats into magic for that particular artist.....I love it.....Stay on your grind. We need more like you.
Best podcast on producergrind. For all the producers with young careers, this was the most realistic info thats been given on here. Big ups. Definitely learned a lot
Another thing that I really respect about him being a producer is that he’s not afraid to give advice and tells you the ins and outs..... some producers are so stingy with their story of how they got on and their info.... it’s so refreshing to hear somebody genuinely tell you how to get put on.
Wtf, this nigga is real life my role model. I’m stuck in a 5 year contract in the navy too..... I can’t see myself doing 20 years , this shit just motivated tf out of me . And I been following this nigga since cinco 💯
Came back to watch this again for the 7th time. I always come back here when I get discouraged about the Journey, I know this is what I was meant to do so The fact that my break is taking so long doesnt mean shit cause this shit a marathon 💯
I was just listening while get ready for work and heard the word “cranking” and my whole military career flashed before my eyes. 4am-6pm was my everyday job because I was the cook. I don’t believe people don’t have time either. I was rapping and cutting hair while I was in the navy. You make time for what you want
this is THE interview. I always come back and roll this one for inspo. so many gems and the energy is undeniable. youtube for the win. A+++++++++ stay consistent and NEVER stop!!!!!!!
Super lit and very inspirational episode! I got a dope idea for a new segment that I'd love to share with y'all just to give back something to producergrind hmu - peace! ☮️🕊️
BRUH i just got retired from out the navy like a year ago been making beats for like 2 years. I be coming back to this interview for motivation like every other week
Not only a timeless interview for all the honesty and game he's laying down, but the COVID19 shit they talked about is gonna make it feel like a time capsule in the coming years
@@Producergrind ohh it's hard to pick just one 🤔..sticking to a lane/artist, the publishing info, overall it was just motivating and got me hyped to be more consistent and patient

Well yeah, everybody has their own path for sure. Nothing is granted. Finally started to upload my own beats to UA-cam and Beatstars today
