    I show my children Grace.
Grace being the name of the paddle I use to spank my kids.

So how then do you deal with parents who believe in using a belt, strap, cord or any other kind of instrument to cause pain, receiving “Spare the rod, spoil the child.” ( That is not a verse BTW) But causing intense pain, welts, etc on their child even children as young as 1 or 2 years of age. I think many children will say that causes resentment and only produces more anger in kids. I know of parents who use a strap on their children (5-10 years old) routinely, and tell of their kids screaming from fear even before the “whooping” happens, knowing they are about to receive punishment that is very harsh, stating they are following biblical principles. Hurts my heart. Many people feel that parents who don’t use a belt will produce children who are a menace to our society.

      Proverbs 13:24...
“Whoever spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him.”
I agree with you though. It’s good to be accurate though when taking a bold stance, even if you’re right in your message.

The way I see it is that is you leave a mark on your child (save for some redness) you are no longer disciplining, but beating your child and sinning. This does not negate the effectiveness of spanking, should it be done appropriately. My dad seriously went overboard with me growing up, and you're right, it caused serious resentment, but if all he did to me was spank, I would be grateful (and would curb my behavior). I see nothing wrong with spanking, pain is a learning technique, and is a very useful tool for developing obedient children, but, as with everything, it can be done wrong and in a sinful manner that negates any potential upsides .

My mom and dad were mistaken there too . That caused so much problems with me and my dad for many years . It got real bad . We made up and forgave each other . I rebeled later and also me and dad would fight . I'm glad we made up about 8 years before he died. Hope he would been proud of me now for eating to know more of God and digging deeper for his truth . He died 3 years ago ❤ .

I have a serious question that has been bugging me. If a woman who's had a child out of wedlock. Does that technically make her married to the man who she had a child with? Or can she still get married to another man? Does the man have to die for her to find another? Please help me with this thank you very much and may the holy ghost speak through your reply.

No a Child does not bind a woman to a man as marriage does and the action would be known as Fornication rather then Adultery (if neither party was married) Both would be free to get married as being a virgin isn't a requirement for marriage although biblically they would have been forced to get married assuming that the man took her virginity because then he would have "defiled" her but I believe that's aside the point.
