How a Detailer Deep Cleans a Filthy Car | Insider Cars - Авто та транспорт
Detailers like this deserve every dime they ask for.
And all the change they find in the car. Haha
Yeh my back hurts when I’m vacuuming, I gotta take a break halfway thru
They try to make it hard they think it's just basic cleaning
@@Puoy513 You’re goofy af lol. Clearly, you have no clue
@Puoy513 Extracting isnt basic cleaning lol
As a professional detailer, I can tell you almost everything the detailer does in this video is great except for the headliner cleaning. DO NOT spray liquid on the headliner or use a drill brush on it. If you spray liquid on the headliner, you can saturate the padding and glue too much causing it to fall much sooner than it should. If you use a drill brush on the headliner, you're using too much agitation and again, you can damage the headliner, padding, and/or cause the glue to fail damaging the headliner and it's integrity. What you should do is spray a microfiber towel with cleaner and gently agitate the headliner. Most of the time, this will clean almost all headliner stains. Always go behind with a dry microfiber towel to eliminate any dampness from soaking in. If there are still stains, spray the cleaner into a soft detailing brush and gently agitate the stain, then use a microfiber towel to eliminate dampness. DO NOT SPRAY THE HEADLINER WITH WATER OR CHEMICALS AND DO NOT USE A DRILL BRUSH.
I will have a video on my channel soon showing the correct way to clean a headliner.
@@TheRealDebHdid you post it?
@@benmahdjoubharoun1467nope
@detailingdeb could you show us how you do the headliner cleaning?
yes I will. I posted one a while back but it was deleted for some reason. I’ll do another one in the next couple of weeks.
I just cannot believe someone would let their car get that dirty. Amazing work though on the deep clean. Looks like a new car.
Ford owners are always the nastiest Americans.
There are hogs out there that never cleans their vehicle. I dealt with Lease returns and believe me. People do that. On the other hand I've had then return absolutely spotless.
You dont have kids,, do you?
Being way too generous my wife loans or truck out to her offspring, they treat her and the truck like s**t for her kindness. It looks as bad as what Gabe Tackled. I finally got her convinced to put an end to the BS so now I will attempt recover. Trucks don't grow on trees like loafers think.
@Vladviking those little shit bags should have been forced to clean that shit.
Sounds so simple but this probably took an entire day and mostly all your energy
That's right, it can easily take atleast 8h to deep clean a mess like this. Even worse if it's a smoker's car.
@@stefansjoblom2930 Yeah, to me 5 hours is usually my max that i can spend detailing, so 8 hours is considered two days to me. I wonder how long this took him, for a second i thought you were him
I want to know how long it took him, and how much he charged. I bet it was $500 to $1000
I did pretty much that to my car. It took my 3 weekends.
It's takes about 3hrs to do this process if you know what you are doing lol. Probably longer if you ate a beginner. 😁
OMG can you imagine what this persons house looks like?
that WAS their house
No s. H. I. T!
I like that you covered every aspect of the interior, including a tool suggestion in less than 3 minutes, the pictures speak for themself.
I did this exact job for my first job. We cleaned the same way except didn’t have the steam brush for the vinyl we used a tooth brush and air but it’s freaking hard work. Great job on this one. It was the most rewarding job I’ve had.
How much it cost price plz $1-200 or 3-400$
@@alexanderthompson2907 in my area it’s 200-400
@@briangammons8242 .if I do maybe I will get 400 - 1000 to lose my job soon 😂
@@alexanderthompson2907 around 200-250 for an individual around 250-350 for a detailing shop

My car isn’t that bad but I could certainly use this service. Great job!
This guy is an artist! Absolutely beautiful work.
This detail job was freaking good!!!!!
If my kids left it like that I'd wait till it was raining and show them where the bus stop is.
I love watching these detailers... they work magic!!
Wow!! Amazing deep cleaning! Looks new again... Very professional work 👌
One thing though, you cant let any moisture touch the headliner. That headliner is going to sag now and need redoing which is expensive. I learnt this the hard way, moisture makes the glue in the headliner come lose
Very impressive work 👏👏👏
Amazing attention to detail !
Wow, this is absolutely satisfying to watch!
Dang how do u clean a headliner like that with out ripping the fabric off??? I stared at mine wrong and it fell down
He got lucky this one was not in bad condition. When they start to deteriorate, the only option is to replace it.
I just told mine to "hang in there, bro. I know ur filthy but there's no way I'm touching u".
Newer cars have better headliners
Mine isn’t falling apart and it’s an 89’ lol
😂👊
Great job dude. Keep up the good work 👏 🙌 👍.
This is impressive! Well done!
Woooow that’s incredible 😮
Flawless dude! Outstanding !
What a joy to watch
I spent 19 plus years valeting new and used vehicles in a local Ford garage, the ex mobility cars were shocking with pee stained seats and riddled with fleas
Keep up the good work 😊🥃
Motability*?
That's because they are given out free for 3 yrs, then they get a brand new one. Some of those people treat them like crap.
He did a fantastic job! The dude is a magician!
Wow great job!😮
Amazing restoration 👍🏻
Who lets their car get this filthy?😢
Depression does man
@@bennessentials4059 fair enough
Honestly a lot of cars I’ve seen like this were from single mothers.
Minivan with 5 kids. Yup been there
hoarders too
Wow absolutely splendid 👌
Great job 👏
What type spray do you use to clean headliner or the carpet
Awesome Job!!
Great job 👏
Awesome job
What brand of steam cleaner do you use? I'm in the process of starting a mobile detailing business and have been getting a lot of advice and suggestions on products to use and look into. Great work! This is what a skilled detailer looks like.
Wow! Nice work.
Nice work! 💪🏼
That was amazing!!!
Wow, now that was amazing. One thing I didn't know that you could actually clean the headliner on a vehicle without damaging it. Would that cause the glue to separate the headliner and start to droop down. I've seen vehicles like that, willing to bet they cleaned with water and cause damage.
Great work! We use Optima Steamer and Prospector 5003 to speed up the process and stay away from chemicals.
Yup, the days of applying all those nasty cleaning chemicals and protectors is waning.
Amazing job . I hope to some day do a job like that
Excellent job
Car looks brand new definitely worth every penny
Awesome job, it looks like a different car
He did a awesome job
Amazing!
this is so satisfying
That was like a miracle.
Nice job I love it 🍻🤙
the drill brush is a great tip
So satisfying ahhhh
Where are you located? Awesome work🥰
Really good job ! The vehicle was very dirty !
This is amazing and satisfying to watch. My van is so dirty. A little less than this one because I vacuum it. But it needs a good deep cleaning like this. I wish I could do it but I don't have all the tools and it'd probably be more expensive buying the tools than paying someone to do this. I wonder how much this costs?
I was wondering the same. How much would you comfortably be willing to pay someone that knocks on your door one day to do this?
Bravo!!👏👏👏
What spray can you use on the headliner i wonder
That’s amazing 🤩
Great work! May I ask what it is with Meguiar’s products? I see them in most every video of yours and I’m just curious as to why that particular product line.
Been detailing for 25 years now over the years I have tried them all and I always come back to meguires products I stand by them they are superior to the other brands you pay for what you get but I always am pleased with the performance and results
I've done a job similar to this. It took me about 2 hours just for the trunk space of a large SUV
This was good.
Amazing
what stain remover did they use?
do you have the list of the product used for this video?
That is what a detail should look like.
My truck thought was garbage , now i knew , there other side of the dimension of my junk truck ... sparkling new interior truck .. where do i start lets go lol , nice work !!
Excellent work
What steamer do you use (or recommend)? Thank you!
My parents would never allow us to let get the car this dirty. Now grown have taken my car to the dealership or Oil Change Shop and they, thank me for having a clean car. Because Mechanics have told me some horror stories 😆
Bro you steam clean over buttons ?
Perfectionist
What is the tool being used to clean the headliner?
What equipment did you use ? What steamer, vacuum, shampooer etc
What is the cleaner used on seat and floor carpet wet vac?
really amazing ..touching everything without gloves............................
Muy útil
Wow! Amazing! I wonder how much this could cost?
Wow. Amazing work. I would have worn an NBC mask, glove and a spade suit before I touched that car. Filthy to say the least…
What kind of vacuum do you use bro ?
What was the cost of that detail job?
@Insider Cars Got it a lot,may I know if it's ok for you to review our foam cannon S V3.0?Thanks in advance!😊
Imagine how filthy most used cars must have been, before they were professionally cleaned by used car dealers. This thorough cleaning made the cars appear like they had careful owners who looked after and maintained their beloved vehicles. So, having watched this video, one should not be surprised when "preloved" cars give problems.
Can you remove mold stains from head liner?
When you did the headliner with the brush does the ceiling fabric ever sag when you do it this way? My headliner is very dirty and have been searching on a way to do it people tell me to do it this way or that way and the way you're doing it seems very easy
I’d be careful using a drill brush. Don’t use too much water or product either. Just lightly spray some cleaner and wipe off with a microfiber towel. I know because I made mine sag in my personal vehicle.
Nice 👍
That car should have a title branded as "Hoarder Rebuilt."
Nice.
Wow!
Where is he located? I’ve been through many interior detail cleaning and non of them have cleaned my car this well. Please share
What are the exact brand of all cleaners/chemicals/carpet shampoo, used in this video ? I am interested in some purchases
Marketing in detailing products is off the charts. Prepare to be sold the moon & stars and to receive pebbles 😂
Great results! How long did it take?
a job that heavy would probably take 7-9 hrs for me
2 monthz
a blunt a 6 hrs it could be done
Ce ne sont pas des voitures mais des poubelles mobiles!! incroyable!!
My car isn't even half this bad, but still needs this done. After watching the video I now know why it is so expensive to get this done. If you want a professional job done, you have to pay a professional price.
I have three kids. I need one of those steam cleaner.
So are Steamers 100% ok to use on the whole inside of a vehicle? Even on electrical?
What cleaning solution did he use?
When I use a drill brush with my Milwaukee drill, it never seems to work. What am I doing wrong?
Good for you for actually showing a dirty detail I’m sick of these guys on UA-cam that have millions of views and millions of followers because they’re detailing the dirtiest car on the planet which is like $150,000 Porsche that someone drove in the winner, has dirty floor mats and needs to be washed
Wow! Mine is kinda in between
How long did it take.
Where can one self get a Gabe?
This is a magician not just a detailer😅
I used to detail vehicles for a living. Vehicles that were repossessed by the banks. Folks TRASHED them. They knew they were getting repossessed and ruined them. Even found plates and silverware under the seats.
