Kevin I do love your videos, it’s like sitting down having coffee with a bestie. It’s adorable how you want to make everything perfect for your HakunaLaPlantarettes 😉😂 Exactly how many Strawberry shakes do you have? Imagine the room you will have when you eventually sell some 😮 Thank you for the longer content today it’s just what I needed on a cold, wet, miserable day in the UK ❤
I also really appreciate your brief mentions of how much light your plants are getting-I think it’s a lot more than the average houseplant and shows what a difference that makes.
Definitely one of the prettiest philos available 💚 I greatly appreciate all the time and energy you put into propagating the ones with the best variegation. The more of these we get out into the plant community the better!
Curious to see your experience with fluval! I had so much success with props that now I mix it in with all my other substrates (pon, aroid mix, perlite & moss, even a bit in the bottom of water props). So far so good. I am somewhat of a chronic overwaterer so I always make sure the fluval is mixed with plenty of perlite because I’ve heard a lot of people talk about rot in straight fluval. Thanks for another fun video to watch, love the beautiful shakes!
You are my favorite UA-camr. Your content is really good and you are so entertaining. You are able to laugh at yourself. And your leca drops are famous.
As far as which media to use shipping wise, you could always grow the plant out in leca or pon, and then ship bare root wrapped in damp spaghnum moss. 😊
I bet your fingers were wrinkly after removing all that moss 🤣🤣 I think moss is the better substrate for shipping as it's easier to contain and you don't risk the pon or perlite or leca damaging the leaves in transport or drying out. Ph. Ss isn't on my wishlist but yours are very pretty 😍
That was such an enjoyable video, you really are the king of the strawberry shake. You are also a very bad influence on me, I just recorded a video of me cutting my Hoyas and I usually hate to cut them but you always have so much success that I said, what the heck, let's give it a shot 🤣🤣🤣 I imported a Florida beauty from Indonesia a couple months ago and it was $170 USD and it's beautiful, still small but I love it.
Hello, Kevin! I've enjoyed all of your hydroponic plant Vblog. I just start doing it. Need some tips: should i start fertertize my plants immediately, or wait for a while due to winter? Thank you.
Amazing variegation! I've never seen a strawberry shake around my area in Northern ON. I was just watching your guide to hydroponics video....planning on trying to transfer some over soon. Also, I'm sure others have said this.... but I love when you talk to Future Kevin! 👍😂
Question for you Kevin @kevlaplanta! First, always love your videos! I saw your strawberry shakes with yellow variegation or more "strawberry shake" like variegation. Is that typical with this plant? I am seeing more and more plants with "yellow" variegations but labeled as strawberry shake, I would like to get your opinions thanks
I adore your Strawberry Shakes! Because of your advice, I bought one with equal variegation on all leaves and it's doing really well. That being said, I didn't realize the neon pink color only came out if it’s under a bright grow light or sun-stressed. It was growing in natural soft light for a while and I didn't understand why it was just cream until I switched it to a grow light and it started pushing out that super rich pink along the edges. Can't wait to see what these beauties look like when you're ready to sell them! (Also that Leca / wick trick in the beginning was genius.)
Oh I'm so happy yours is doing well! ☺️ And yeah sorry I feel like I never mentioned that 😅 also the wick thing isn't working I'm trying to trouble shoot this week haha 😆 fail
Every time I see strawberry shakes on your videos, I start looking them up online. I may have found "the one" while watching this video. I'm always curious about how you do pon with your hoyas--do you always have water in the reservoirs when they're in self-watering? Or, do you let the reservoirs dry out before you add water again?
Hey which bugs do you have hanging on your alacasias I wanna buy to hang on mine to be safe I bought the good guys for everything else lol but I need something like what you have thanks ❤
I got my first strawberry shake for $600. It had multiple cream leaves. I killed it. I got my second one for $200. I think the price will continue to go down, esp with tissue culture 😭 but I don’t mind because I loveeee them
I think pon is to messy to inbox so it would have to be moss. Since they wouldn’t be in moss very long the roots won’t grow much once you put in moss and sell them. So moss would be ok.
Hi Kevin,, can you pls share the brand of the beneficial predator/insect in sachets you’re using? I need to get some coz the spider mites is getting overwhelming.. TIA
Hey! If it's really bad, you should use Phytoseiulus persimilis instead. Saying this, make use you have the right environment ( around 60% humidity and warm temps). The sachets are califonicus beneficials which are best used as a preventative. You can buy from groliv if you're in Canada or koppert
I’m just using it as preventative.. I’ve used insecticide and seems to get rid of them.. anyways, knowing that it needs higher humidity that might not work in my environment 🥲 .. I’ve heard about Koppert but I dunno if they’re only in Canada? I’m in Cali…

Nice collection of strawberry shake. Thanks for sharing!

I loved it, omg you have so many 😍😍and I just never have enough of you're strawberry shake videos.
You make the best videos ever Kevin! The quality is always so good. You need to start doing some sponsor stuff so that you can make more money 🥰😉
Hahaha I know right. My goal for the new year 💚
@@kevin. love..love..love your philodenron strawberry shake you do great and amazing job
Ok , now I want one! Your videos really motivate me to get interested in certain plants and to propagate the ones I have. I will be ordering more pon.
Love the strawberry shake content!
YAAAASS she's my fav 🥺💚
Hello Kevin. That is A LOT of Shakes there😀

I bought my own strawberry shake because of how pretty yours are!! It’s now pushed out two leaves in leca!! 💚
The true Strawberry Queen 🍓💚
Love you daddy 😛
You are my favorite UA-camr. Your content is really good and you are so entertaining. You are able to laugh at yourself. And your leca drops are famous.
They are just so beautiful!! Wow!!
Stunning plants, so many useful tips, I really appreciate the work you put into your content.
Hi Kevin😌You are so good at growing plants! I even listen to your UA-cam on the way home with just audio😌
Pon is my first choice. Moss is too hard to remove before putting into leca. My two cents worth!
As far as which media to use shipping wise, you could always grow the plant out in leca or pon, and then ship bare root wrapped in damp spaghnum moss. 😊
Wow, I'm impressed 😁

Moss will be great Kevin pon will be heavy 😊💚💚💚

Have you considered shipping in strait perlite
Love them! Would you be shipping to the states?
Unfortunately just within Canada 😢
@@kevin. 😭😭. Totally understand! They are gorg!
@@kevin. Oh, bummer!
What kind of pon are you using? I was looking on Amazon. Hard to find in states. Please post that.
Kevin u giving me the Itch to chop my strawberry shake i purchase her as a reverted and she is the most variegated one
I'm thinking about sending you my thai constellation so it can go to your plant rehab for a year 🤣🌿
she is not doing so great here in sweden.. 😂
She is still a baby with three leafs, but one is going in the garbage soon, it got no roots 😁 #TorontoRehab
Any medium then moss on shipping is fine to me. Interested in case. I love your video content
Did you use rooting hormone ?
Are there any cupcakes left?

You could use two cups. Just a thought.
Do you have any left for sale ?? ❤❤❤
Omg I just got a pot of shakes and I also don't have enough leca so I'm just water propping till then 😂
How do you cut it? I am scared to cut 😅
I think pon is to messy to inbox so it would have to be moss. Since they wouldn’t be in moss very long the roots won’t grow much once you put in moss and sell them. So moss would be ok.
What is your nutrient solution?
Where can I buy one?

No leave it alone.
What if you took out a loan and started a plant export buisness.
