This is one of my favorite songs of theirs. I love how animated Adèle is here, I’ve heard Dillie’s version as well. But my favorite Dillie song is “Dogging.”
I've got tickets for my mum to see Fascinating Aida in February for her birthday. Her parents split up when she was little, being the 60s 70s and Catholic they kept it from her until she found the divorce paper work as a teen. She thought her dad worked away and it was totally normal for parents not to live together. When she confronted them, upset and confused, they explained that it was best they loved apart, and that her dad had quite a while ago, moved in with Joyce.
After hearing Dillie sing this in “Back With You” at The Arts Theatre in 2001/2 kind of time, I nicknamed a friend of mine Joyce as she seemed to have a habit of being the bit on the side. The verb “to Joyce” was then coined!
Benjamin Kelly Utubkids.com Omuireadhaigh of a young lady who had the best daughter and sister of the month has been the one to it I only wish Ffhhhrtrrughvxd.com
They’ve been going for 40 years but they’ve rarely been on TV, preferring instead to do revues in theatres. Then about 10 years ago, they had a career bounce due to posting their material on the internet, particularly UA-cam.
it is a shame that the sound does not follow the movements. Just a second or a little more - but quite enough for me not to be able to enjoy the singing.
I’d suggest that you’d have an aching face after a couple of hours of non stop laughter! I wish you all the best, but if going to a live show is going to cause you other problems (migraine perhaps?) then might I recommend the DVD’s and CD’s of their shows and songs? All the best.
Love this so much. Just wish the audio was in sync.
Adele absolutely kills this
Oh Adele gets the chance to show off all her comedic timing in this song, what a great performance!
Adele is so funny with this song, she brings it to life, pure genius writing by Dillie and performance by Adele not to forget Liza's introduction.
I love Adele she's incredible

Change the playback speed on the vid to 1.25 it don't make it perfect but it makes it better.
The song was originally from one of Dillie's solo shows, just over 20 years ago.
I have never hear these ladies before, very clever nice to find something different and very entertaining.

Masterclass ladies. Bravo!
The dislikers must be relatives of Joyce.
Either that or they didn't like the lip-sync!
Another work of genius ladies :)
I love these amazing ladies so funny xx
My favourite by far! Close to home!
Ansolutely fabulous, darlings!
They are all great, but that song reminds me what a great pianist is Dillie.
Fantastic, Coward meets Brecht.

Absolutely brilliant! :P

Ok but now imagine she sounds five times better when you hear her in person. Seriously.
Fascinating Aida
This feels like a lost Disney villain song!
It just doesn't.
I like that chuckles 😂
Yes..why isn't the audio in sync
So hillarious😁
be a great Ursala in little mermaid
Spwewin can be so twicky carnit. Worse than coordinating the sound with the pictures though, it appears.
They should write a musical on this very theme interspersed with songs ..mostly reflective on the situation unfolding.
How come they have been going for years and we have just heard of them lately?

This really neeeds writing into a musical...it's just so Broadway...
If ONLY the name had been _"Karen"._
😊😊😊
Brilliant
Audio out of sync. Spoils it.
My first attempt

Does anyone know what the line "like a fish, she'd play me and she'd play me" is a reference to? Assuming it's a reference anyway
In fishing, playing the fish means allowing the fish to tire itself out after being hooked by letting it run on the line before reeling it in.

The music is out of sync with the video
Very clever but to attend a concert would drive me crazy l would hsve a headache in half an hour
why ???

Well the sound engineer wants kicking - I know I would have been.

Is this person transgendered?
Irrelevant, but yes.
@@Whirlygig269 Must admit I've never ever consciously thought of her as anything but female...she just is...so, as you say, irrelevant...
@@Whirlygig269Not 'irrelevant'. It's simply a question, like one would ask 'Is a Policeman or Policewoman called a Police Officer?'
