That has line has extra pleasure for me, having, several decades ago, hitched a ride across Africa in a cheapskate cargo plane. Everywhere we landed, the airport trucks would hurtle across the tarmac to bring up steps only to be waved away by our crew who would then drop a step ladder out of the door. Apparently the step service is exhorbitantly expensive.
The almost lost art of cabaret. Thank you for such wonderful entertainment. And Ryanair are still the same twenty one years later. To offer something in their defence, at least they are consistent. Again thank you.
Just got stung today. €55 each for not checking-in online (missed the window by 10mins). The check-in guy literally pressed two buttons and our boarding passes didn't even scan. Had to watch this to raise the spirits.
@@Je-uq2wv ... I tried to book a flight with Jetstar online and all went well until I had to put in my 3 digit security number found on the back of my credit card. Transaction kept getting refused by the bank. Tried 3 times. All failed. I rang the bank to find out what was wrong with my card and he said the security code was wrong. I tried again on the Jetstar website and it still did not work even though I check 5 times to make sure the 3 digit number was correct. It was. I rang the Jetstar call centre to tell them their web site was not working correctly and that I really needed to book this flight before all the seats were sold. He said he could book it for me and I said thanks for the help. Then he told me it would be an extra $100 because I did not book online. I could have strangled him. To top it off, my return flight with Jetstar 6 weeks later was cancelled and I almost got in trouble because I was about to overstay my visa before the replacement flight was available. At least the flight was not at 5am.
British born Irish like me...brilliant..I love the way she captures enough of the Irish character to highlight its comic quality and irony without mocking it or slipping into stereotypes...good stuff...
I saw the show at the Edinburgh Fringe last night and as a result of the sheer brilliance of the performance bought the DVD. These women are so talented and the songs had me in tears with laughter. Absolutely fantastic. Buy the DVD for all your family especially to see your Granny's face when she listens to Dogging.
Fabulous group. I have been a musician all my long life and rarely hear such brilliant comedy performance. The Kangaroo Song was my favorite and not simply because I'm Australian. Eat your heart out Rolf Harris.
The other day a neighbor and friend of my family asked my mom if there are any sites where you can get $1 flight tickets. This song immediately popped up in my head. There’s indeed no such fecking thing as flights for 50p or a dollar!
This is so wonderful. I’m reminded of this song every few years and have to rewatch. On a technical note it’s interesting that the audience doesn’t seem to know when the song is over, and applauds too early - probably because each verse ends by hitting the tonic, which sounds final
Absolutely Brilliant !!!! Am Laughing So Much I Am Crying ! This Is Def Going In My Favs ! Have To Share It ! Thanks To My Beautiful Daughter Laura For Sharing This. Keep Smiling.
"cos how the feck are you supposed to pay if not with fecking plastic!?" BRILLIANT!!! I am wiping the tears of laughter away as I type. So fecking true!!! Great performance :-))))
Every year as family members around the world search for fares for our annual trip we sing cheap flights. Spirit airlines in US matches song and more airlines are following.
German language DID my head in! LITERATURE SO WONDERFUL. So tricked my best friend as we won this scholarship with the French. First lesson was GERMAN! Love the Literature by the by ... so I did it. Auf Deutsch ... with her scary monocle in place ... 'she replied you have a marvellous German accent, she mentioned place somwhere oop nurth Germany. Wanted to die. Back to German and auf Deutsch. I do not believe the Germans/Austrians/Swiss have ever managed to win Eurovision song contest. Maybe, should have done a re-take on Dietrich?
Brilliant ! saw FA at Leamington Spa on Saturday and they were brilliant. Loved the song Criminal Union of Non TaxpayerS. When Dillie's speaker wouldn't work and had to be fixed, Sarah did a great ad-lib when she spotted an empty seat near the front, and found out than a member of that family had forgotten about the show, she then borrowed a mobile off the family and phoned the missing Tony. Had to be there to appreciate it. Loved the show - BIG THANKS
This is female comedians at their best, they aren't trying to be anything but themselves and because of that they are brilliant. It's clever and well structured and a very well presented act.
Superb in Leicester last night (apart from when the 'Blonde' forgot her words - ha - bloody brilliant recovery - I think that it was all set up.....)!! Thanks Ladies - Great Night!
I flew Allegiant air here in the US after the feckin fees and taxes were figured my $99 ticket came to over $212. Tip #1 don't pay for priority boarding and "choose your seat" options. I saved $22 just not using these options... I got the seat that I would have paid $12 add'l to have and hell we all boarded at the same damn time. These ladies are feckin amazing... Makes me wanna do some dogging right now ;) thanks for the posts!
Just realised they are touring again! Thankfully still seats going in London (all the good ones gone). Why wasn’t I on the mailing list?! So excited though.
Absolutely brilliant! Hilarious! Congrats and a big thank you for giving me a huge laugh! Few thing do these days, so it's a giant gift! Long live Sweet FA!
My hubby & I just got back from 6 months in the Alaskan wilderness. It was great... no TV, no radio, no newspapers. We just shut out the world. Still haven't looked at any news since we got back to Oregon 3 days ago. We love to take trips that are different than what most sheeple take. Today my husband said he found some great deals on flights to Libya & Japan, so I'm trying to decide which to take. Lord knows why the air fare’s so cheap, but it’ll be a great holiday, whichever one we choose.
benjy westy that's the point It's actually the same (similar) rhythm as Scottish music that uses a 'scotch snap' (if you're musical it's an off the beat dotted quaver + half quaver... if I remember rightly). *I'm Scottish, sorry I don't know what it's called in Irish music or if it's exactly the same. ... off the beat rhythm though
Watched Cheap Flights zillions of times (also the other version with subtitles which has justifiably received more hits as I think that the subtitles add even more flavour). Forwarded it to a number of people. Love it! I have paid extra to avoid flying a famous Irish airline headed by a Michael... though I admit they sometimes provide a good service to obscure airports that I need and that others don't. Just don't be fooled by any being near a major city.
Forever known as the "Ryanair song"
indeed

Nah the feckin song
Add easyJet to that now
Or easy jet
When she says "sad verse" and that guy laughs really loud, ahaha, brilliant!
Must the same guy who laughs inappropriately at Peter Kay's Misheard Lyrics video. I love it
Haha yes! Love it
hahahaa the look she gave him as well ;-D
For me it's Dillie's look at him that just pushes me over haha
I just love the look Dillie Keane gives the audience when they laugh at her announcement of the "sad verse" :D
It was the look of utter betrayal. To convey such expression on the spot when you're just messing around means a feckin' lot.
"If you haven't paid to use the steps you'll have to feckin' jump!" I love this so much. Seriously - amazing :) xxxx

My Mum just got off a Ryanair flight where they charged her an extra £75 for having luggage the 'wrong size.' I showed her this - it made her day!
La Tendresse it's a stupidity tax, for people too thick or lazy to read the perfectly clear instructions about case sizes.

Seanforfor jeez, Northern Ireland Ryanair flights cost 25 quid, not that good, for price, Flybe is somehow better for small flights
This has lived rent free in my head for half a decade now and I’m sure it will continue to for many more to come
A decade for me, and still relevant as ever

“If you haven’t prepaid to use the stairs, you’d have to flexing jump!” 10/10. Incredible!
The "heart thump"! That drummer just taught everyone how attracting focus is done. Masterpiece.
buying a flight to dublin at the moment with ryanair so obviously had to come back to this song. so fecking brilliant, gets me every time!!!

'Sad verse', the laugh, and the look. Always slays me LOL
Yes honestly Dillie's comic timing in her facial expressions cheer up any glooming day, but this is the best by far
Who in the hells could click a "dislike" for this??? Maybe they all work for Ryanair?
Utterly brilliant. :)
ABSOLUTELY FECKING BRILLIANT!!! Loved it each time I've watched it!!! Bloody hilarious!
Just had a really shit flight with Ryanair. Immediately watched this when I got off the plane and laughed so much 😂😂
Clever, funny, and in these recessionary times guaranteed to raise a smile. These ladies are a breath of fresh air.
I love watching this if I'm ever feeling a wee bit sad. makes me pmsl every time
This needs an extra verse about "Live Chat" and "Customer Support" now.

Just ripped off for a flight to Kerry from London. Gonna listen to this everyday to sooth the pain.
as an irishman who's listened to trad since i was about two, this is actually much better than i expected from brits
A lot of Brits were born Irish and were brought up listening to Irish music.
