Main thing about DSPs is that you can clean up a speakers sound and give it more power. Distortion is what will ruin your speaker and makes them sound harsh. Every speaker is going to have peaks and valleys on certain frequencies. A dsp can flatten those curves out where it is flat. Not harsh with the peaks or dull with the valleys. You really need a computer with a really good mic to see how that speaker is performing. A dsp with multiple channels say a 12 out so you can control 12 speakers. And a dsp that has 31 bands of adjustment so you can fine tune it. With bass if the subs are lacking at say 28 hertz you can turn it up at those frequencies or too loud at 50 you can turn it down.
@easylooker seemed like a good bit of info you provided... I've never had a dsp & recently been thinking about investing in one & finding someone to help me get it setup properly.
Don’t mess around and get a Helix or Brax first! Learn from my mistakes lol. Clean and powerful is an understatement. EQ incoming signal as well!! Built in Rta, the whole 9.
The things he lists to look for in a DSP are actually the last things on my mind when selecting a DSP. I haven't found anything comparable to the Helix Ultra (except of course the Brax DSP). The Real Center and differential rearfill features took my system to a level i thought was un-achievable before.
Yup. Love my helix mini, best in the business and that’s not just an opinion. blows my Audiocontrol dm608 away in every aspect. The director remote they offer is badass as well. Pricey, but badass. Source presets are nice too.
DSPs are the best thing you can add to your sound system! Some mid to high end head units have them built in but aren't as good as external ones like in the video!
Best choice you can make! I’ve tried everything before buying my helix mini. Added Bluetooth lossless audio and the director remote. You can buy direct from audiotech Fischer on eBay. Mine shipped from Germany in 5 days to Michigan. Awesome company. And now I have ZERO detectable noise floor to boot. Gotta pay up though. My setup was a little over 1k. Next I’m buying a microphone to dabble with their built in rta.
@ptcustom JP appreciates his guy's he understands it takes a team to operate at the level he is at he has a video explaining how he had to learn to let other's help him At one time JP would run everything by himself but he Finally broke and built hell of a team!
@JP Today I went to get the stuff I bought from your shop installed the asshats tried to tell me your wires were aluminum. I bought the green 0/1 wire kit 100% OFC. I just stopped shopping there.
Lol, the description says it's tinned. They probably saw the silver and assumed it was CCA. If only they had something like the internet to do some research instead of telling customers bad info.
That's cool JP lets his employees take part in his videos and success.
Nick is one great guy actually all them people their are great keep up the great service. Much appreciated from your friend KENNY J
HEY THATS MY DAD AWESOME

Where can I buy a Helix at? Can't find them anywhere.
I got everything but the kitchen sink in my build . Except for the DSP , I should pick one up

How do you feel about the Arc Audio PS8 Pro?
The Arc audio one is oooook. It's only used in multi year sound quality finals champion vehicle.😊
Have you used the new Zapco? I also run helix
They didn't even mention audio control the absolute best dsp company. They were just promoting there shitty dsp brands in this videos. Dudes a sellout

Well said.. 🎯
Good Sound starts with a good h/u
I think this is useful for factory head units aftermarket not so much too many built in features nowadays
Does DSP enhance bass or does it make it louder?
Thanks for the info Nick 😎

Ive been having multiple issues with my AD68 DSP, AD says its my electrical. I removed the DSP issue gone. Going with Helix next.

@@TheDoozie43 The Audiofrog UMI-1 system is $200 and is compliant with REW software, amongst others.

What dsp is compatible with 2 taramps and 1 down4sound jp234
If you don't have an amplifier is dsp useless?
How is it a digital processor without digital connections: fiber otpics?
Helix is what you need to start selling.
Who sells Helix? Where can I find one?
JP listen OUTTY 5000 got got by someone who was misrepresenting himself as close to your brand and now is out $1200. Look at his video.
Do DSPs work with Taramps amplifiers??
yes and no.. taramps are 4v max
That DS18 12i Looks Just Like My Sound Magus DSP What The Hell Is Going On Here 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Hello friend, I have a question. I'm about to buy a 5000 RMS 18 inch LAD subwoofer, I'll pay $ 800 for it. Do you think it's okay?
