I'm in Laredo use to have Bermuda in my first house but need it to sell it back in Sept. 2018. this February move in to our new house but the lawn is St. Agustin. Didn't go well its all dry even tough it has irrigation system. i will try this coming season to make it look more strong healthy and greener and if not ill change it to Bermuda. Thanks for the help with tips in all your videos.
College Station! Found your channel about 6 months ago. Watching your channel led me to own a reel mower and become a grass snob. First level this spring. Good luck with the channel - great content
Waco, Texas! Been here about a year and half. Lived in my house a little over two years and wish I knew I needed a powered reel mower before I went and bought a new $700 rotary
I'm in Washington State. I first saw Ryan Knorr pop up on my UA-cam feed that got me interested in spoon feeding grass. I already had a nice lawn but I took it to another level!
I live in Hutto. I got into lawn clean up videos in 2019 then I stumbled across this UA-camr named Doc. His channel was a little different back then and has changed much. But I too fell in love with short Bermuda grass. The feeling of your hard work and satisfaction that comes when your lawn is low and tight in June. Is like no other feeling I’ve ever experienced. Cheers to lawn Dads.
Since Covid, I have been working on my Atlanta Bermuda lawn and I appreciate your help along the way. Thank you for your help and I enjoy your weekly content.
I’m in the woodlands and been a subscriber for a year now, watching you I went to Craigslist and picked up a trucut 27, I’m currently on the hunt for a toro or John Deere greens mower, keep up the great work look forward to more content
Liberty Hill, TX, a good hour north of you, just about Georgetown. Spent the afternoon with my Grandpa's Weeder, pulling those nasty winter thistles today. And dandelions. lots of nice little divots. Waayyyyy easier than the old Weed Queen. The rain helped a lot.
Another Lawn Tips tragic here as well. Ben inspired me to become a lawn fanatic and has now cost me a lot of money in equipment and products. Perth, Western Australia. 🇦🇺
Mornin! I am from beautiful Georgetown! I’m new to Texas, and I absolutely love it out here. And had my home built in 2021 and I started watching you right there after… thank you for all your insight
Same thing had happened to me, except the wife and I had bought our own house and i ended up having lawn issues, and stumbled on your channel, and Docs channel and it will all down there and ended up finding an early GM1k for a 100$😎, also a follower of lawn tips, and lawnsgoodnick, as well. Located in SE Washington ( could be classified as transition zone being a high desert area) but soon to be locating to southern GA
My name is Mike. I reside in Austin,Tx. I have been following you now for over a yeat and a half. You have and present such great informational content that i enjoy. Your easy to listen to. You take pride in how you present your content and i really appreciate what you do and how you do it
I too am glad to have come across your channel. There are other channels that are good, but they are not in Texas where we experience water restrictions, etc. your channel is very helpful, and thank you. I’m in Jarrell, TX, and we just moved here 8 months ago. My yard is going to need a lot of help.
The past couple of summers have been a struggle for sure. I think I'm probably going to be applying the wetting agent soon to try and get ahead of the curve.
Located in north Fort Worth... been subscribed for a few years and finally picked up a 98' Toro Greensmaster 1000 at the end of last season. I had a California Trimmer and was mowing at 1". I'm really excited to mow at 1/2" this year. I've done some spot leveling over the past 2 years so my yard isn't too bad, I'm hoping to do a full level next year.
I’m in Cibolo and New Braunfels is a 15min drive away from me. I like your channel because we have the same type of grass and we get the exact same weather so what’s good for your lawn is good for mine too. Looks like you have an Autumn Blaze maple? I have that tree too. 👍🤘👍
I’m glad to have found your channel. I’m retired in Burnet, Texas. Just moved into a new home with Bermuda grass ( I had Zoizia before), and it was just laid early last fall. First task I had was getting rid of all the FIRE ANTS! I know the lawn needs to be leveled but that is a LOT of work, so I’ll likely hire that out. Weeds! Damn them! I look forward to viewing more of your helpful videos
Georgetown, TX. Definitely digging the content and the channel. Last season was a learning year for me. Definitely turning up this year with my customer electric Fiskars reel mower. Time to have fun.
Central Texas area. 24,000 sq ft of Celebration Bermuda sod. 49 pallets worth. Sod was laid down last June (2023) in our new construction home. I've been very pleased with it. First spring season and waiting to see how it turns out.
Bought our house about 2 1/2 yrs ago and started getting into lawn care about 6 mos after. Located on the west side of San Antonio. Started first season with “Sunday” products but found it to not be up to par. This season going with Allyn LCN (yard mastery) and see where that leads. Plan on leveling for the first time this season as well because, yes, rolled ankles are not fun. Anyway, been following you for the last year and find your videos helpful. Keep it up , it’s appreciated.
I like that you are a fellow Texan but we have different turf types. I've a St. Augustine lawn up in the DFW area. Wish I could have Bermuda but I've got a big Oak Tree that I don't think Bermuda will do well under. Wish I could take my lawn down to .5 an inch! BUT, I enjoy the content and there are a few things that I can still learn from ya
The lawn is amazing! The first video I saw I thought your lawn was turf! Thought it was hilarious you mentioned that! Live in New Braunfels as well, first time home owner hoping to get a lawn half as good as yours. Where’d you get the sand to level? As you mentioned with the new build mine is super uneven…
This is a great channel. I found your channel about a month ago, and I've learned a lot, thank you. I am north of Dallas in one of the many suburbs up here.
Love the channel buddy, especially based in TX as well. I know you mentioned leveling your lawn after moving in but Did you do a complete lawn renovation with new sod or just keep what was already laid down from the builders? If so, what type of Bermuda do you have?
