My wife asks me all the time if I don’t miss home and want to make a holiday there. Having just watched this vlog, has brought up those feelings of a need to return. It all looks so beautiful around that area and that, even with the rain. I think a trip next year might be on the cards.
Well who would have known it! We have managed to convert Annie into a marmite lover😂. You just needed the right tools for the job.

The Uk, scotland including, has a ton of crime and other types just as America. What you see here is not standard for a lot of the uk, is the occasionally occurring romanticized ideal of it. Lots of crowded crime ridden cities and grim dilapidated towns as well. Its a faulty country just like America. Has its great areas and bad ones like any other. Not that there is not plenty of areas like you see here, All I am saying is do not necessarily go and expect this type of environment to be the entirety of the four countries the uk consists of.

I have had many happy holidays in the Dunkeld area, many things to see and do, I was born and live in Scotland, the further north you travel the more beautiful views to see, and then from Oban you can travel over to the Islands, glad that you are happy here.wonderful.

@@Larry-j3m Thanks for watching! That’s a good idea. We did have to hire a tutor before moving over to make sure our P3 child was up to speed. Your education system is about a year ahead based on same ages if that makes sense.

That area is so beautiful. I hope you saw the Dunkeld Cathedral, so much history. I live Pitlochry too. We actually stayed in Kenmore at the start of Lock Tay, not the river Tay but Lock Tay. I will say there is not much for children there. We did visit the Cronnogs on Lock Tay, so fascinating. I believe we walked there from Kenmore. Anyway this was so nice of you to share, brought back so many memories. Love the cottage. How did you find it!

Beautiful Holiday, i find it crazy that its the middle of the scottish summer and you have a fire going..... not sure i'd want to be there in the middle of winter, hahaha. Glad you tried the marmite again, that's the way to eat it. If you ever have an upset tummy and want something light to put in it.... try the marmite toast or a tsp or two of marmite (more if you want it stronger) in a mug with hot water, makes a beef broth that really is surprisingly good when you don't feel so good.

The park in Pitlochry where that you visited is known as the recreation ground (or known locally as 'the rec').
Highland Games take place on the 2nd Saturday in September - worth a visit, all the pipe bands march down the high street
The amusements (the place with the bumper cars), closed around 2007/2008 and was redeveloped into the business centre that sits on site now.

Brilliant to see you's had a wonderful time up there. Perth is a wonderful place, they even have the stone of destiny now on display up there which was put on display more recently when it was returned to Scotland. I've long been planning to get back up there to photograph the Drummond Castle and Gardens.
Great to see they have many of those facilities even for the wee yins to play, and despite the rain you's managed to get about and enjoy yourselves.

am sure you could get sponsorship from Marmite, showing the 2 videos alongside each other. Perfect for their adverts. I dont exactly know why, but I keep watching your videos, I think they are just so wholesome and evocative of an ideal family life. Never show the arguments please. And absolutely, when kids become teenagers, leave their angst out of it. My best wishes for your family for a long time to come.

Thank you so much! Yes, we definitely want the kids to feel like they can just grow up and make mistakes and not be “on” for a camera. If they ask us to stop any of this, that will also be the end of an era for us. We’re all very much enjoying exploring and sharing what we can at the moment and do our best to keep everything as happy and normal as possible. Our family and friends back home don’t feel like they’re missing out as much, which is one of the main reasons for doing this! Thank you for watching and for taking the time to comment ❤️
