Thank you for such a lovely review. Im a proud Glaswegian and love watching visitors touring our country and taking in all that we offer in this country. Haste ye back !!
As an English ex-delivery driver, whenever my boss said " You're off to Scotland for a couple of days " I was always well pleased, stayed in various hotels, and B+Bs loved it. Stunning scenery and friendly people, even in Glasgow lol.
LOL!! I am Scottish and I don't often get to Glasgow as I'm on the east coast but I'm always struck by how friendly Glasgow actually is it's much friendlier than Edinburgh for example
@lespaddick6248 Lol! Especially being a Londoner, we're not very well liked, lol, but the Glaswegians were great, tough, down to earth people, I felt comfortable and right at home. I miss those days ☹️
I live in North of England but get to go to Edinburgh very regularly for work. I am very lucky to have such an amazing country so close. A fantastic place with cracking people 🏴🤜🏼🤛🏼🏴
I live in Suffolk, South eastern England. I did a trip to Scotland with a mate right around the top. Its my favourite place I've ever been, I'm not well travelled so do not have many places to compare too. However the scenery, the nature. It just felt so good everywhere i went.
@@stuartbutcher2642 Yeah I live just outside of the town, Sadly the town is a little dead and deprived now, still lots of history and a few nice places if you know where to look.
Glad you's enjoyed it up here in our country. Glasgow born and bred and love your enthusiasm. As you will know, there's a lot of history connecting our dear country to the United States, and that was nice of your friends to show you around.
You two bring such joy to all of your excursions. And of course it follows that you'd attract two of the most fun people in the UK! And Everly just gets more adorable (and fun like her folks!) every time I see her. I'm not wishing time away, but I can't wait to watch her grow up!

Heck yeah!!! I'm glad we can push you to head up to such a lovely countryside. Just enjoy each moment when you do it. You are lucky to live so close, and the UK, in general, is pretty freaking amazing. That goes for the land and for the people.
The Kelpies are down the road from me, not sure if you would have seen the other things here in Falkirk and not shown it in the vid. The worlds only rotating boat lift is a little farther along the canal from the Kelpies the other side of town called The Falkirk Wheel and the route along between them is the Antonine wall, it was the northern border of the Roman empire for 20 years, they never finished building it. William Wallace best friend was laid to rest at the churchyard in the middle of town, he fell in the battle of Falkirk 1298, Wallace monument is a little farther north in Stirling.
@@lespaddick6248 They never built it as a tourist site, it was part of the redevelopment of the canals, folk started to turn up and see it and they had to build a cafe and things after lol
Glad you guys loved Scotland, but I can assure you - You have seen nothing yet! Way up north in the Scottish isles will conquer your heart, so many isles too visit and the Lochs and glens will steal your hearts! YES I am a proud Scot who has visited them all, did the west highland way, sailed the Caledonian canal, done the island hoping, Tasted all the single malt whiskeys - yeah I am an old guy who loves his country! The further up north of Scotland you travel is where you want too visit, Harris/Lewis and the isle of Skye are a must, also reading the history of the Scots you will find interesting in what our ancestors had too endure! We had a motorhome till my wife had a stroke, so I sold it! It were a sad day! In Scotland you can drink the water straight from the river or streams, for it is clean! The Scots are friendly and are always ready to help! We have the best Country in the world, but the down side is the weather and the midges! Feel free too ask me anything about Scotland and where one should visit! Haste ye back!

Love Glen Coe the scenery is stunning. On a bus tour of my own country the driver pointed out a possible place where the McDonald's clan house once stood. They found ancient coins on the site so they believe this is where they lived.
