If you want to make this a series, Dash (which we'd all love), remember this please!
Typically the older fans will ALWAYS have something to complain about, but for people who have never played the game before, some of these new mechanics such as the "!" for timing your guards are very helpful.

Dashie you should have listened to the tutorial about action commands. That was actually important. You got to press A with correct timing when attacking for a stronger hit as well as press A just when you’re getting hit by an enemy to block the attack. Also press start and click “equip” to equip the hammer 🔨 you got.

Blocking successfully reduces damage taken and correct timing on attacks/spells will deal extra damage. Also equip your hammer you got from the first boss,press + then equip Also press X on the overworld once you get the flower items like Flower tab,flower jar etc. They boost your maximum FP so you can use more spells. Love you Dashie,i would love to see you play this game in its entireity!! Its a very short but fun game

(Gasp) Wow, look at how clean the 3D graphics of this game is, this remake of this game looks wicked awesome, I love it. I was playing this game for the Nintendo Switch, I would be a pro at it because I originally played the SNES version of Super Mario RPG and I beat the game. Word of advice for new players that never played Super Mario RPG especially the original version, defeat as many enemies as you can, just like with Pokémon, train and level up your characters a lot because the more enemies you defeat, the more your characters will level up and get stronger. Also equip weapons, armor to increase your characters stats. And buy some items including syrups so that way when using your special attacks, you can use syrups to refill your energy to reuse special attacks. Last but not least for bosses in this game, study their weaknesses. For example, Hammer Bros are weak to Mario’s jump attack. Good luck.
This was fun as hell to watch, can't wait to see part 2. Oh yeah and you can do normal attacks using the hammer, you just gotta put it on in the pause menu.

Dashie when you are about to get hit press the A button to block attacks, and press A when you are about to hit your opponent to do more damage, if you hit the A button for how many times your character hits your opponent you will do more damage. For example when you press A when Mario is about to punch your opponent, Mario will do a uppercut, if you press A when Mario is about to land the uppercut you’ll do more damage
