I know elements of this song live on in So Cold, and even a little bit in Away. but I have been in love with Always since the very first time I heard it. I wish they would re-record it, and release it on an album. I personally think it's one of their better songs. I know that Ben was influenced a lot by Tool, and you can really hear it in this song.
Funny but people say he was influenced by Tool. Yet in most interviews he cites Nirvana has his greatest influence. He even said he wrote like Kurt, dressed like him, sounded like them...
I think this song is about someone precious to the song's protagonist. He or she is always on his mind, and in the end they left him behind. No matter how much he tries to move on the person is always on his mind, in the chorus he says that's alright, he will always remember anyway, he'll give love another try. The bridge is the most confusing, but I think it equates best with the five stages of grief. Mostly denial and anger. A bunch of jumbled, lost thoughts that turn from questioning and interrogating to angry (I plan your surrender). I think the protagonist realizes that the best way to get over her is to be angry at them. That in the end he won't let her defeat them and he'll try again. It's interesting because I still hear a little of this in So Cold lyrically, but more obscure. (Obviously "Well that's alright, let's give this another try is the same")
Thanks for your explanations dude. Yeah I think this one is like a demo of So Cold. Same riffs and include same meaning... but I love every BB song, even love ''Inertia(other demo song)'' as well .)
Would love to see this on an album one day! Buddy would bluetooth this on the radio at work for me and I'd sing it all out! I always had an audience when graveyard shift would be walking in

Probably not better but this song need his complete studio version, they took parts of Inertia and Always and create one single song so if you have So cold and Always separately.
So cold is great but it's so overplayed I don't really seek out that song very often. I actually like this song better. Maybe cuz it's fairly new to me compared to so cold
Damn I wish this and Inertia would be released as singles. Even if they were turned into So Cold, they're still great as standalones
Ben has such a strong voice!
Omg this sounds like away and so cold together, i love bb
Itsgiggles So Cold was actually this and Inertia combined basically
Itsgiggles and sooner or later
this is actually. how so. cold was made
@@Copp.r broooooo that's the sooner or later riff!!!!!

He says Nirvana in his interviews. Idk where you’re getting that from.
this is their best song imo. why didnt they make this song as a track in their album
I've listened to this song like 7 times in a row its stuck in my brain
"ITS STUCK IN YOUR BRAIN,
ALWAYS "
That’s amazing
This man can sing and play guitar while drunk better than I can drum sober…

The quivering in his voice makes this so much better, Ben is just fuckin amazing
Wow, what a powerful voice.
I'm still listenin to this today it's a good song even tho it's not reliese on a album
UGHH THIS SONG IS SO GOOD.
Always = Sooner or Later Riff (Verse) + So Cold (Refrain)
This song is one of the best
I have been a die hard BB fan since probably 2005 and somehow I have managed to never hear this song?! Christmas came early!
I redid this instrumental in cdq, it's really good 🔥
Would love to see this on an album one day! Buddy would bluetooth this on the radio at work for me and I'd sing it all out! I always had an audience when graveyard shift would be walking in
Hey Guys , Isn't it impressive that Ben managed to sing perfectly even if he was drunk there.
GET OUT OF MY WAY!
So good and so Cold.
wow my favourite song of all time. Glad you uploaded the lyrics :)
you're welcome bro , thx for
nice comment.
awesome
10/10
I know one of Ben’s biggest influences is Tool, and different sections of this song sounds a lot like ‘Intolerance’ by Tool, especially the vocals.
He’s never said that as far as I know

Ben forgot the lyrics half way in 😢 He still did well
Kinda reminds me of early Three Days Grace
Love it
You can hear the riff from sooner or later
bravery sacrifices thank you the only that heard it but me
why did I hear a little bit of the water ep in this? probably similar rhythm and the same tuning
I heard there was a story like this is leaked or scratched by the label anyone actually know?
I don't care this is alot better than So Cold. Fight me if you disagree.

Wow I can really feel the korn influence on this one
I think it’s more of a tool influence than Korn.
Tem no spotify?
I always thought it was, You're stuck in my veins.
similar pronounce but as logically ''brain'' makes it more sense.
@@alperfect9729 definitely, sounds like 4 Degrees at some points
Yesssssssss muah
Wow 3 years since I’ve been here.
nice
Where did you find the lyrics?
I think it says I’ll play you’ll surrender
Alot of these lyrics are incorrect. No shade, I'm just saying.
*get out of my way your way
It's "get out of my way....your name,is stuck in my brain"
