Kripp, you shoud really think about adding Zola the gorgon in this deck, it is just so good and versatile here. Not only she allows you to get full combo with one simulacrum (you have to have two apprentices or two molten reflections instead, but that's already more freedom and kind of protection from a bad draw), but it also allows you to copy coldlight oracle for additional draw or artificer for additional armor gain! It also costs more than apprentice so it's never going to spoil your simulacrum.

Difference now is it is going viral (the past 7 out of 10 matches were bandwagon exodia mage, lol) and pushing a shift back to the hyper fast agro deck that a certain salty someone **just** complained about in order to regularly deal with killing the mage before the combo gets off.

Dude every game has a meta, i dont think something can be done with it, i play hearthstone casuall and i stay away from the ladder, but Dota 2 i spam a lot and there is meta heroes and poopy heroes on which even if you play like a God you gonna get stomped to the ground because meta... Thats how every competitive game works, feel free to correct me if im wrong.
You could run the 1/2 elemental over the barrier. I feel with the stall you have that you'd armor up more consistently than the barrier. Tar Creeper could be the second one. You could run the ruby spellstone with that change as well. Finally, Frost Lich Jaina isn't bad in here. It's an alt win con. Not sure what'd you take out. But it wouldn't interfere with the combo and you'd have probably the same buff suite. Good luck.

Kripp shall never see this but a more ehh fun version in my opinions is using elementals like tempest pyros and armourer with the spell stone, to complete the quest as you don't solely rely on the combo. You could also add in 2 or 1 decks of wonder because who doesn't love them.
Hey Kripp, if you want to try wacky combo decks. I'm trying to build a C'thun shaman combo with Murmering Elemental to double C'thun's battlecry and Fry plume harbinger to get it's cost to 0 (or 1 if you have the coin). Works relatively well if you pack the deck with removal, draw and a few C'thun cards (in most cases it just needs to be a 15/15). Really fun to play!
Have you considered trying the version of quest priest where you mulligan the quest, play a dragon shell (with cross-pollination from bone drakes) and a few super strong deathrattles and either shadow visions the quest, or just play it.
But I don't play ladder so often so that may be why. I totally understand that if u have 2 play vs a deck to often, it gets annoying. I'm more a arena player.

What is the point of paveling book? Also glyph can be pretty good but in what way is it better than other types of removal or draw. And with the huge amount of agro, how can coldlight be better than acolite of pain?
Also you are generally holding a lot of cards and with acolyte the opponent kinda controls your draws, with coldlight you control yours, and you can potentially mill the opponent. It also helps aggro, yes. Play other draws first in that case.
Fresh? This was a top rated deck on Hearthpwn before the expansion was even released, and pretty much all discussion about the Leyline early on was about this particular combo..
Problem with exodia is antonidis is literally a one card infinite combo which is broken in of itself. It needs to be any spell that wasn't created by him makes a fireball.
3-3 so far with this deck. Very first game I lost against a Priest because Archmage was the very last card I drew. The deck got wrecked by aggro hunter and secret mage, although the mage drew very well. I also had a blunder against a Pally in a game I lost, Simuled when I had an Arcanologist in my hand and it copied it instead of Apprentice. Could easily be 5-1. They need to speed up Archmage giving fireballs though, I had to burn through 30 armor against a druid one game and almost got roped. I made it by a half second if that. Was in full panic mode.

I hit rank 5 with this deck except a little bit different cards here and there. If its control deck is auto win unless you got unlucky with dirty rat or your opponent made you overdraw. Usually against any aggro decks is 40 - 60 but if it's aggro secret mage it's 30 - 70
I've been playing this since the start of Kobolds. The deck beats the pants off of certain matchups, including control decks, Big Priest, Raza Priest, and Cubelock. However, it usually loses badly to aggro and Hunter. It's an anti-meta deck.

Coldlight is in quite a few draw reliant decks right now just to counter combo decks like razakus priest or cubelock to burn key cards
