pot of greed is a spell card that draws two cards. Since there's no mana in yugioh, pot of greed is considered broken for its value $$$$$$$$$ and thus it got banned.
You really only need two ticks of Thaurissan total. This reduces the Archmage to 5, the two Apprentices to 0, and the Echo of Medivh to 2. Once you play the two Apprentices, Echo of Medivh becomes 0, so the first three cards of the combo cost you nothing. After that, Archmage is 5, the two new Apprentices are 2 each, so you could cast ANY 5 mana or less spell to start the fireball chain, since you still have one mana leftover.
impossible to tell what you mean. (it only makes sense for you.) but you cant 1 turn KO from that possition, 5 mana from archmage + 2 mana from echo + 4 mana from the 2 additional apprentices is 11 mana.
The numbers represent the total cost of playing the cards 7 Archmage + 2 Echo + 4 Apprentice ----after 1 thaurrisan trigger----> 6 Archmage + 1 Echo + 2 Apprentice This is factoring in the fact that echo of medivh is a spell and is also reduced by sorcerer's apprentice so u can theoretically play the combo on one thaurrisan trigger on just Archmage Antonidas and 2 sorcerer's apprentice or in other combinations
+Markus Haraldsen archmage 5 mana, two sorcerers 0 mana, echo is also 0 mana (reduced from 2 ticks from thaurissan and from sorcerers), two next sorcerers cost 4 mana, you get an fireball from archmage that costs 0 mana now, now it's infinite damage. Summary of all the mana it costed 5+4=9. For it to work though you need 2 ticks from thaurissan and all the cards you need in hand
Am I the only one who found the ogres SUPER useful in this brawl? I singlehandedly won the game off of killing a doomsayer with the ogre shaman card plus flame tongue
overloading is concidered a good thing. The one drop gets +2 attack and you can unlock the mana crystals anyways because let's make a mechanic that pays off now, but loses tempo later, and you know, remove that...
Idky people seem to think Overload is something that actually makes up for cards being kinda OP. It doesnt lock you out of your current mana crystals, so your probably playing the game and the whole deck around one burst of spells/creatures, then another with the less mana. Overload may be a short way of saying "This card costs (X) more" but to me it says "You can use 2 turns of mana spending for this to be cheaper" aka, Suspend in magic the gathering....
The combo usually gets set up by doing Apprentice > Apprentice > Echo > Apprentice > Apprentice > Echo. This costs 10 mana, and you end up with 4 Apprentice in your hand, and 4 on the board. Thaurissan hits 1 Antonidas and 4 Apprentice, then next turn you have Antonidas > Apprentice > Apprentice > Apprentice > Apprentice for 10 mana. Dupe Thaurissan is still more pressure and just as good though.
Dnax ah yeah well that was a misunderstanding, sry ... but it still doesn't seem that "logic " ( :D ) to me... like you also can't spell it without K I P O I in that sense.... generally i just would have typed kriplogic ^^
ingwer moschus its supposed to just be a silly joke man its not serious at all, you know krip logic is rest in peace logic haha funny joke we all laugh good times
They say when you have all 4 old gods on the battelfield at the same time and press end turn you'll see kripps face sarcasticlly smiling and pouring salt onto you
I have made something very work in an actual rank match. Instead of using Echo of Mediv, I used Thaurussan and 2 Aprentices after freezing the oponent. Each Fire Ball costed (4-2)=2 since the two aprentices were at play, and suffering Thaurussan's effect for 1 turn makes them cost (4-2-1)=1. It is not an infinite amount of damage like the Exodia combo, but realistically speaking, it is good enough.
i actually have a from hand puzzle deck(exodia) in hs as rouge, only thing you need to prepare is a dagger (no thaurisan tick is not even needed but it helps) and boom 33 dmg from hand in a single turn
kripparian your awesome you post like 2 vids a day and thats just what every subscriber wants love youre content and youre constant posting makes me happy keep it up
I heard control warrior is cheap and really easy to play, started the game yesterday and built it. It carried me from rank 26 to rank 1 legend in 24 minutes. Kappa
3 Card Decks? You mean the packs, right? (Classic, The Grand Tournament, and Whispers of The Old Gods) If so, then you should first and foremost spend your gold on the Classic Set, since cards from that set will never get rotated out of Standard, and the cards from there build the fundamentals towards creating a Deck Archetype. Other Sets contains cards that refines those fundamental deck archetypes to fight against other decks that have been refined with the help of the newest set ( The Grand Tournament, and Whispers of The Old Gods). So basically, you should first focus on the Classic Set until you have the bare minimum cards to build a deck archetype of your choosing. The cheapest deck archetype to aim for is generally ZooLock. Look up what ZooLock is and get a general idea what ZooLock aims to do to win, and if you want to play that deck, figure out what you should collect or craft in order to get the necessary cards to build the deck. Know that people's decklists differ based on the meta and their preferences, and maybe even their lack of a certain specific card. However, the cards they have replaced tends to act towards achieving the same thing, so you shouldn't feel bad for not having the same exact cards inside your deck as the decklist you're using as a reference to. Adjust accordingly to fit your boundaries, but still strive to refine and achieve the best deck to victory Also, one more thing. It's ok to not fully understand a deck, and to make mistakes and lose. Don't rage or lose heart. That's just the process of learning \(^-^)/ By the way, if you want a quick explanation on how to play ZooLock, look up 'Hearthstone: Rapid Fire Questions #1 - Zoo Warlock' from Trump (another Hearthstone twitch streamer and UA-camr) to get a general understanding of what to do in ZooLock. After that, play and test out what to do in specific matchups and circumstances to learn what to do and get better
If you are new, buy basic packs cuz zoolock need those. If you have some spare gold, take BMR adventure for imp gang boss, and league of explorer for dark peddler
I faced a version of this deck in high legend on the wild ladder. He played thaurissan+echo-> thaurissan to get the double proc, then used the second echo for the combo. I still won because due to limated APM my opponent only fireballed me in the face 12 times and I was playing control warrior.
I was pulling off this combo long before this tavern brawl in real Ranked matches. The fact that Kripp says you need two ticks with Emperor is just funny. The easiest way to pull off the combo is get 4 sorcerors in your hand (play one with duplicate up twice or use echo shanigans) and play emperor with antonidas in hand. Then just use any 4 cost spell or lower to generate the first fireball while playing all 5 cards from hand on the same turn. (Antonidas 6 mana + 4 mana for the four 1 cost sorcerors). It's an OTK this way from any board state.
Turn 1: Double sorcerers apprentice into echo into two more sorcerers apprentices into another echo into iceblock. Turn 2: Thaurissan dat shit! And anoter iceblock. Turn 3: 6 mana antonidas + 4 different 1 mana sorcerers apprentices + a 5 mana or less spell for the UNLIMITED FIREBALLS! The most specific combo ever (requiring 6-8 specific cards depending on your health) that just flat out wins you the game if the enemy doesn't have kezan mystic, flare or secret eater thing.
My first language is Swedish, and I live in Sweden. I can also speak and understand Finnish pretty well because my grandparents are from Finland. :] mangaread123
I had a game where someone tried to set this up. He played Spprentice, Antonidas and two Mirror Image for blockers. I Shadowmadnessed the apprentice, frostbolted(from thought steal)/holy smited the blockers and managed to swing through for the win.
That bug-out was SO funny - just when you've got it all set up, nope, not gonna happen XD Perhaps it's time to clean out your computer - it's close to summer, and dust can make it overheat, which can cause random errors like that one.
No only one tick because of stealth, unless they have aoe clear. 6 mana archmage, 1 mana sorc apprentices, 2 or 1 mana echo. it takes until your next turn but yeah stealth so.
You can make the deck more consistent by doing it in a few turns like Apprentice x2 + Echo for 6 mana and then when you have 4 of those and Archmage and a spell that costs 4 or less you start the chain and win the game
What's 4 mana? Apprentice x2 = 4 mana Echo = 2 mana (after double apprentice reduction) Echoed Apprentice x2 = 4 mana That's 10 mana. Turn two you play Archmage (7 mana) then any spell that's 7 or less (3 mana after quadruple apprentice reduction) to start the chain. The problem is getting the four Apprentices to stick on the board for a turn.
I tried this concept quite a while ago, I found out echo of medivh isn't neccesary at all. You need to duplicate apprentice twice, have all four in your hand together with Antonidas. Now you only need Thaurissan for one turn and you can play everything the next turn. It's not at all a good competitive deck, but I did have a lot of fun this way, more succes than with echo. Win rate about 50% I think.
Ill never forget the day I went up against kripp. I was at work... on Lunch..... I got all excited and told all my franz to see if he was streaming. Yeah I got my ass whooped around turn 7 or 8. I was so sure I was gonna get lucky. The good ol days
One time, in turn 7, my ranking enemy played Milhouse and I just drawed Atonidas, I go for Antonidas then cast spell right to his face. He ran from 30 to 0 real quick. Best memory ever. Lol.
There should be a separate comment section just for Kripperinos, so when you're tired of actual comments you can switch to see some good (yet not fresh) memes xD

My deck in this tavern brawl has 100% winrate, maybe its because i only played once for my pack
1 win = 100% of games, 1win = 100% winrate :/ seems fine i guess
+Felix Mustermann If it worked for Trump, it can work for anyone, I suppose.

Pot of Greed is still better
Again, what it does? xDDD
it draws you two cards in a game where you dont have to pay mana to activate cards

Play Core Rager on turn 4 with an empty hand and you dont need an Exodia "combo".

XD ROFLMAO teh PeNgUiN Of DoOM
So...he gotta go fast to see the barber?
Lmao +1 for Kripp looking like a hedgehog
A guy played Milhouse Manastorm on turn 7 and I then played Antonidas and an unlimited number of fireballs.
You cared enough to comment.
A man shouldnt ever play Millhouse Manastorm, a man should be Smart.
millhouse manastorm battlecry=4 pieces of exodia(for your opponent)-trash
I got a free legendary of my choice once when I opened a golden Millhouse Manastorm..
ikr. thats how i killed someone extremely easily cus of the free spells.
Kripp is so much fun when he's having a good time and actually having fun instead of being salty about RNG/being cocky.
The original Exodia used to be Leeroy + 2x Shadowstep + 2x Cold Blood... RIP Miracle
but if ur opponent has taunt u r screwd and exodia is supposed to be instawin (only ice Block can stop it)
+Grzegorz Zalewski Yeah, and warriors survive against that too.
Raging Worgenx2 + Charge + Inner Rage + Faceless Manipulator. Gives you 2 8/2 raging worgens = 32 damage. Stack your deck with card draw.
it's not "exodia" it's just OTK. Trust the guy with Dark Yugi on profile pic
Yup, a true exodia combo would kill them with ice block up
OH GOD!!! I ROFLed so much when the animation got stuck.

As a beginner, what card decks should I get from my f2p gold? There are 3 decktypes now, been buying a lot of the latest content :P

whats the name for the outro? it sounds good!
I pulled this off with two cards only: Archmage and "spells cost 0 for this turn" from Millhouse it's a lucky play, but it worked out in the same way

I faced a version of this deck in high legend on the wild ladder. He played thaurissan+echo-> thaurissan to get the double proc, then used the second echo for the combo. I still won because due to limated APM my opponent only fireballed me in the face 12 times and I was playing control warrior.
Kripp what was the full deck list for this

Just going to point out that the guy who left in the last clip because Kripp kept freezing his minions was called "Thaw" LOL
So what? :o

Yeah, I googled it later and found that thaw means to unfreeze or warm up something that's frozen :p

That paladin's name was Thaw and all his murlocs were frozen. Poetic

Constantly quotes "never lucky" but is one of the luckiest hearthstoners

6:12 why didn't Kripp draw with arcane intellect?
No Skipperino this time.
YOU SHALL NOT PASS THE KRIPP
Where is skipperino when you need him? (2:56)
That bug-out was SO funny - just when you've got it all set up, nope, not gonna happen XD
Perhaps it's time to clean out your computer - it's close to summer, and dust can make it overheat, which can cause random errors like that one.
I was cackling like an old witch when he DC'd on his exodia combo
Stealth windfury deck? that's cute
Hey Kripp did you watch the Warcraft movie?
It isn't out yet in North America
I just did, liked it.
I have watched it:) soo damn awesome!!
***** Europe gets some Marvel movies before NA, too
+The Emperor of Mankind it was released on 26.05 in germany. Instantly watched it. Its awesome
what was the name of the little coloured guys?
22:42 I like this look
There is a bug at the momento when playing Antonidas, the game dies, that has happened to me more than once.
No only one tick because of stealth, unless they have aoe clear. 6 mana archmage, 1 mana sorc apprentices, 2 or 1 mana echo. it takes until your next turn but yeah stealth so.
That disconnect... see first on WizardPoker
Kripp I'm from the future it's fuckin back
Hey man. In your d/c game. I've seen this too. if you reload a second time amazingly it will reconnect.
You can make the deck more consistent by doing it in a few turns like Apprentice x2 + Echo for 6 mana and then when you have 4 of those and Archmage and a spell that costs 4 or less you start the chain and win the game
that's 4 mana
What's 4 mana?
Apprentice x2 = 4 mana
Echo = 2 mana (after double apprentice reduction)
Echoed Apprentice x2 = 4 mana
That's 10 mana.
Ahhh! EXODIA!! NOBODY HAS EVER BEEN ABLE TO SUMMON HIMMMM!

Could you please make a video explaining how is Cho'Gall a good card? Thanks :)
Kripp, Why are your videos 50 FPS instead of 60?
0:55 You get Fireball off the Echo of Medivh Kappa
When Antonidas is on the board.
8:48 Kappa
so if anyone was wondering animated armor prevented 34 total dmg that shaman game.
One time, in turn 7, my ranking enemy played Milhouse and I just drawed Atonidas, I go for Antonidas then cast spell right to his face. He ran from 30 to 0 real quick. Best memory ever. Lol.
the miniature warfare TB was the best to use this combo :)
If that were Reynad, the stream would have ended right there.
so how many hearts do you get a day
Turns out that combo is preeeeeeetty good.
this may seem like a stupid question but what is that hero?
Yes Kripp Join the Combo dark side of card games yes.
I believe this is a common bug, I had this happen to me multiple times with Antonidas' Fireballs.
why doesnt the enemy ever attack his animated armor after it loses stealth?
Dat shaman. So many golden cards, so little brainpower.
mini warfare or however it was called was the easiest to set op infinite firballs combo since all minions cost 1
somebody made a fan art of this.
Kripparrian OBLIDERATE!
There should be a separate comment section just for Kripperinos, so when you're tired of actual comments you can switch to see some good (yet not fresh) memes xD
