One thing I figured out through the dungeon run is that the boss that deals 1 damage and gives +2 attack won't ping a friendly minion if the minion has 1 heath so if you reduce a egg to 1hp it's just a 0-1 for the majority of the gamr
I beat rogue easy peasy first try, double battlecry and deathrattle and health, got jades like 5 times. I gotta link this series to my mom and sister tho haha.
4:31 Can confirm, Jade Rogue is busted. I tried out Rogue shortly after Kripp's last vid about Dungeon Run where he mentioned how clunky and difficult Rogue is w/o jades. In my very first run, I proceeded to get jades for literally all but one of my "buckets" and breezed through the entire run like it was nothing. Ended w/ 7 swarmers, 5 shurikens, 4 Ayas, and 2 jade spirits in my deck.
LS You just have to keep trying. I had the same luck as you on rogue for about 11 runs in a row. I then proceeded to get boots of haste, candle, double battlecry, 6 Ayas, 4 Jade Lotuses, and 2 Jade Shurikens. Let's just say topdecking an 18/18 and a 19/19 for lethal on board helped me defeat King Togwaggle by a long shot.
Thomas Vance Damn, that is a sweet build! But I still wasnt offered any jades, so I went with cthun, and finished on my (i lost track, maybe 15th) run yesterday, not by cthun, since i wasnt offered the battlecry, but double deathrattle - And the most powerful treasure - Wax Rager.
I had a lot of trouble with rogue, this advice is pretty spot on to what worked. I had double deathrattle triggers and took either jade or deathrattle buckets. I eventually got double battlecry as a second ability and my deck of 6 Aya Blackpaws, 2 Sylvanas and three Raptors soundly wrecked my opponents. Azari gave me some trouble early, but even he could not stand against my jade hoard for long.
Tyvm Kripp, I followed your advice last night and had a full rogue dungeon run. Got a little lucky with four Jade buckets, Double Deathrattle and Double Battlecry. Easiest run i've had Jades are op.
My first run was with rogue and I completed the dungeon, but I haven't been able to beat the whole thing with any other class so the stuff you talked about in the beginning really surprised me.
Had about 4 tries. Last one I got Double Battlecries, a ton of Jade cards, +1 mana crystal at start and lots of Shadowsteps. By turn 6 already spawning 12/12 Jades. I was basically just looking for Jade spirits & Shadowsteps to instantly overwhelm any boss.
I like this style of video. I tried rogue for the first time in a dungeon run, just keeping in mind what you said about Deathrattles and Jades. Ended up getting the Deathrattle Legendary Relic, with a few jade buckets and then ended up getting the Battlecry Relic on the last part. Needless to say, King Togwaggle just filled his board up with 0/10 Party Portals and got smashed by 10+/10+ jades
Nobody walks away with cobold treasure! Like you said, Kripp, no reward at the end of a run is unfun. But. Thank you so much for your guide! I actually FINISHED my first dungeon run with rogue and on the first try I was so freaking lucky, I got both Jade and C'Thun and twice deathrattle. No battlecry in the pot, but it wasn't necessary, the deathrattle took care of the card-eater, because I got to choose the wax rager before the final match. I didn't have to care at all about any of the cards he glomped down, because I had a board full of immortal ragers. :D I am all for you doing more of these guides. I actually only watched the guide part, not the games, but I would have if I hadn't gotten so damn lucky! Say hi to Rania and keep up the good work. Edit: Won another card pack with the dungeon run and got yet another legendary. That was 7 in 58 packs now and 9 epics - is the timer broken or is it just me for once in my life? I usually barely get any legendaries, I craft them.
6:20 About the archetypes. Just finished a Jade Rogue run and was offered, double battlecries passive, double deathrattle passive and a jade bucket at every single pick. So it might actually offer you an archetype based on your first pick.
Dungeon Run is the most fun I've had in hearthstone in years. And this video is great, I'm currently working on rogue, though I haven't touched Warrior or shaman.
I took robes of the magi, health vial and embers of rag x2. Had a mixed exhaustion (milling) and assassination deck Fan of Knives x2 and Valeera the Hollow. I gotta say having reliable board clear and burst damage made this run so smooth. That +3 spell damage with embers was beautiful at bursting down bosses. (looking at 33 damage at 3 mana when the board has been cleared)
Please do keep them coming, these guides really help. Although a theme I'm seeing is the double battlecry is mandatory so it might also be good to see runs with different styles to show what can also work.
for rogue i ran double health and double battle cry, i drafted mill and burgles cards, the thing that helped me carry was my first draft of faldorei strider, that card carried me. health is so useful to tank, and i never ran out of cards.
I had Double Battlecry and Deathrattle on Rogue with mostly Jade Spirits and that 2 Mana 1/1 Deathrattle. I had a giant Jade Party every Boss. It was such fun.
Rogue was my first class to beat all 8 bosses. Stealth and +1/+1 passives, tons of weapon buffs and pirates (incl 2x greenskin), finished The Darkness with 8 attack dagger
I had a sick big priest with 5 cost minions, double battle cry, herald volaj and kel'thuzad combo which bugged the 7th boss and made him do nothing. togwaggle got the ragnaros triple fireballs 3 times and just blasted me down.
Thank you for this video Krip :) Chose Deathrattle Rogue and ended up getting the double deathrattle treasure + Wax Rager. Nothing like a board of 5/1's that can't be removed :) First 8/8 clear!
i did it fist run i played thief rogue and i had a lot of card generating cards, i took the 3 secrets, the oppenent minions cost +1 and what won the games was the 1 mana steal 3 opponent cards and the 4 mana adapt equal to your wins
I got to the final boss (Vuurstrasz or something like that) on my first try with Paladin and I got him down to 3 health and I only had 18 at that point. He buffed two of the chests on his side with Velens Chosen somewhere earlier in the match and then used Spirit Lash to heal himself for 27 and breaking two of the chests in the process thus buffing his hero power to 4 damage to everything on my side of the board.
Mill rogue was the most fun I’ve had so far this expansion. I had 7 cold lights with double battlecry and 4 deathlords. Then I got double health and it was just EZ. I just spammed cold lights even though I was overdrawing. None of the games were even close.
Won my first Dungeon Run as Warlock, went mostly with Blood (3 or 4 molten giants, 2x thaurissan, some mountain giants) and Big Demons one and got the "minions over 5 mana cost 5 mana" which pretty much let me have free giants, Warlock seems excellent if you go lategame cards. Second win (second game, too) was as Paladin with the Cloak of Invisibility, with some handbuffs and overall big-ish minions. Both last bosses were the same, the treasure hoarding dragon. He seems like he might be one of the easier bosses.
I just finished dungeon run with rogue, had battlecry and deathrattle passives with Jade/C'thun synergy + as a bonus I took 2xvanishes, 2xmurlock oracles, Valeera and a Wish. I have to say it was pretty easy, actually it was autowin vs any boss... Lucky picks
I also had a terrible Rogue deck at the beginning of the run. And then I got Jade cards. 4x Aya + Raptors is actually pretty fun. Also, the 2x Battlecry and 2x Deathrattle guy was hilarious too.
Please Kripp i loved the videos (that u help us noobs) of arena guides for classes and this i think is just as perfects as the arena guides plz don't stop.
I think the most trouble I have aside from the 8th bosses in this mode, is Candlebeard, the guy Kripp fought as the 2nd boss in this video. I usually meet him at the 6th or 7th boss slot, where his hero power costs 0 and is automated, because of which I usually just get overrun by his minions.
New series approved! Maybe not a week between episodes but a few days for research and content. I wish I had more hands to give you 4 thumbs up👍 👍 👍 👍.
So after running dungeon run around 30 times total (beaten shaman) I decided to do rogue after this. Picked desthrattle for my first one, but kept getting mill cards, so I went with it. Got the 1 mana 3/3 wep, double battlecry, and a mill set almost every time except one c'thun. The best card I got though is the all minions cost 0 for this turn. Now at this point out of all of those runs I've only gotten the Dragon. Every time. This time I somehow managed to get the mill one (no idea how I was so unlucky). I managed to mill his entire deck on turn 4 except 3 cards, made a full board and played a 13/13 c'thun. Felt so good and now rogue is beat too!
I assembled Quel'delar on a Druid dungeon run. It's so OP it's ridiculous. 1 mana 6/6 dear 6 damage to ALL enemies after attack. Last boss was a breeze!!!
Watched this video. Thought ill try rogue now :). Second run with rogue got an amazing deck. 5 Ayas, and few other jade things. Tons of shit that synergizes with deathrattles, C'thun, battlecry buff, minion buff. Was the easiest run yet. Thx kripp totaly worked :)
My first rouge dungeon, I had six jade spirits, four aya black paw, four of the stealth one, and two jade shuriken. IN ADDITION TO THAT I HAD BATTLECIRES AND DEATHRATTLES TRIGGERING TWICE!!!!!!
I'm glad that I wasn't the only one that had a hard time with Rogue. Every other boss 1~2 runs max, Rogue I have over 105 bosses defeated and only 1 run win. FeelsBadMan.
Cleared rogue with C'Thun. I had the double battlecry passive and minions cost 5 mana. Combined with 3x Blade of C'Thun and 2 Shadowstep and a Vanish, was a breeze. Only Druid and Shaman took me a while. Somewhere around 35 bosses
I can vouch for that. Played only one rogue run, got the battlecry pasive and was constanly offered jades. By the end game I got something like 7 Ayas, 5 jade spirits and 5 more of the 1/1's with stealth that spawn jet another jade when they die. Plus double life just in case. It goes without saying that I finished the run, even the last fight, with ease.
My rogue deck won with jade golems. I ended with 4 Aya's, along with the passive where death rattles trigger twice, it was gg from there. Had plenty of other cards to summon jades. Was a very good run, even when my final boss was the guy who removed 2 cards off the top. All I needed was my Aya's
I finnaly managed to compete run after about 15 attempts - I finaly got a combo of battlecry trigger twice and a lot of battlecry cards: a lot of jades, a bitt of self bouncing cards, a bit ot c'tun, other passives were: archmage's staff (0 mana 0/3 weapon that gives a random mage spell at the start of the turn) and that cube that gives mixes both decks and reduces mana costs of your cards by 2.
I finished Mage, Druid, Hunter and thanks to your help also Rogue. I just picked a few jades and got the dragon as a final boss. He is waaay weaker than the deamon or the darkness. Please make also a guide to your Shaman and Warrior run. In my opinion they are harder than druid or mage.
Do make more of those dungeon run guides! It was awesome! Oh by the way I cleared rogue first time. Got both Battlecry and deathrattle passives. Got 3 ayas 4 spirits and 4 swarmers. I got the unearthed raptor you start with to spawn 4 jades at one point 😂 It was ridiculous.
Got rogue done on my first try, c'thun. Struggled with warrior, finally made it work with the taunt quest. Jade druid was the easiest, I got the double battlecry passive on that run. Mage I also got on the first try with 2 bag of coins and 2 antonidas + some extra spell synergy. Somehow managed to get hunter on first try as well, terrible deck. All other classes took a few attempts, but only warrior felt completely hopeless until the quest run.
I played rogue to 8 wins, with +3 spellpower, and perma stealth. Had auctioneer and a bunch of things like sinister strikes and 5 copies of razorpetal volley to keep drawing into and going face
I beat the Rogue challenge picking mostly C'thun cards and Jade when C'thun cards weren't offered, picked double Deathrattle and +1+1 as my passives. I found Hunter to be the hardest class tbh.
This series is pretty good! Could you show how you go all the way with shaman without the dobble battlecry passive? I can't seem to win when I don't get that passive. Thanks for the great content!
I think Deathrattle is better for Rogue than Battlecry. Deathrattle is better at maintaining board presence when the enemy trades. It also enables the Rogue deathrattle buckets, which are usually pretty decent. It can shore up a weak jade deck as well, since Swarmers and Aya are both deathrattles, and you can copy them with Raptors.
I finally got a Battlecry passive on first pick, followed by C'Thun and Jades exclusively (mostly C'Thun) and ended up getting the Legendary Blade to make the final boss a cakewalk. Rogue does seem to have poor choices though, and I'm not sure whether or not my deck would've stood up against Vustrasz.
So I get the battlecry passive... then a jade pot, then I get the death rattle passive... and about 20 billion jade swarmer and unearthed raptors... I kinda smacked all eight bosses and the final boss was the Darkness
my guide for rouge is pretty simple. just pick as much Jade cards as you can and if thats the case usually you can get through, passives would be +1+1 and extra 2 starting cards worked just fine for me. The other classes besides hunter are not that hard I to get the run done
I camw 7/8 on paladin, for the one boss that upgrades a minion by 3 mana cost, as the 7th boss. I literaly just had to outlast him and fatigue him to death off a taunt/healing deck with double health, wish, and something else i forgot but was useless.
Maybe I got really lucky with the bosses, but I did it with a 200 hp mill rogue and I never once felt in danger. I misplayed against Bramblesnarl and he was able to get me down to 56 hp, but my final boss was Togwaggle and I beat him with 169 hp left. A lot of the bosses play right in to the strategy of mill rogue.
All you need is deathrattle and jade in rogue. You have enough early game jades to get to the end and enough value at the end with the fast jade ramp esp if u get aya.
I beat it using warrior with used spell danger and double battle cries, I used dragons and and spells to Burst them down then use the ultra wind fury weapon with heroic strike(s) to finish them
One thing I figured out through the dungeon run is that the boss that deals 1 damage and gives +2 attack won't ping a friendly minion if the minion has 1 heath so if you reduce a egg to 1hp it's just a 0-1 for the majority of the gamr
Ansel Z tried that, he enraged his 0/1 egg, buff it with 5 atk, hit my face for 8
sheepsky hooman
But most of the time it doesnt have enrage in hand.
18:09 "Rogue is the bane of my existence" , 18:24 "Blaming the Rogue" LUL
Sparky112 hahaha
ZE MADMAN
Please make this a series. I am struggling like no other lol
Eddie Mills Gaming if you think youre struggling, i defeated 66 bosses in rogue and still havent completed the rogue run
+LS And i got it first time haha, but i got really lucky with Playing vs the darkness in the end and having gallowyx + having stealth on everything
I beat rogue easy peasy first try, double battlecry and deathrattle and health, got jades like 5 times. I gotta link this series to my mom and sister tho haha.
Please make more of these sir; I appreciate how serious you take it and it's fun content
4:31 Can confirm, Jade Rogue is busted. I tried out Rogue shortly after Kripp's last vid about Dungeon Run where he mentioned how clunky and difficult Rogue is w/o jades. Cynical Kook lucky.
I feel like shit, literally played rogue all day (its my day off) and was only offered one jade bucket every run
LS You just have to keep trying. I had the same luck as you on rogue for about 11 runs in a row. double battlecry & double deathrattle jade rogue is easy with 5 Ayas and a few other jade cards
also 2 raptors to copy deathrattles of course
Thomas Vance Damn, that is a sweet build!
But I still wasnt offered any jades, so I went with cthun, and finished on my (i lost track, maybe 15th) run yesterday, not by cthun, since i wasnt offered the battlecry, but double deathrattle -
And the most powerful treasure - Wax Rager.
speedz0r That was my shaman run, they werent stingy with jades.
Tyvm Kripp,
I followed your advice last night and had a full rogue dungeon run.
Got a little lucky with four Jade buckets, Double Deathrattle and Double Battlecry.
Easiest run i've had
Jades are op.
Thank you for this! Followed it and finally beat rogue - picked Battle totem, double health, and vorpal dagger. Bag of tricks + Jades
My first run was with rogue and I completed the dungeon, but I haven't been able to beat the whole thing with any other class so the stuff you talked about in the beginning really surprised me.
Thanks Kripp, rogue was the only one I couldn’t do and this was actually very helpful
I won the first ever run in dungeon with a rogue with double deathrattle and wax rager
i got jades. fucking 10 lv jade at turn 6
Same dude,it was just so Easy
Had about 4 tries. Last one I got Double Battlecries, a ton of Jade cards, +1 mana crystal at start and lots of Shadowsteps. By turn 6 already spawning 12/12 Jades. I was basically just looking for Jade spirits & Shadowsteps to instantly overwhelm any boss.
I had Rod of Roasting....pure skill always wins.
i just completed it first time as rogue. I had double battlecries, 5 jade swarmers,6 jade spirits and 3 ayas

Like you said, Kripp, no reward at the end of a run is unfun. But.

Yes, I would really appreciate if you did this with all three classes.
Kripparian here, but this time he is speaking to Gus.
Please do keep them coming, these guides really help. Although a theme I'm seeing is the double battlecry is mandatory so it might also be good to see runs with different styles to show what can also work.
Rougue was the first hero I was successful with. I got double deathrattle and jades. Jade in general feels very powerful a lot of the time.
for rogue i ran double health and double battle cry, i drafted mill and burgles cards, the thing that helped me carry was my first draft of faldorei strider, that card carried me. health is so useful to tank, and i never ran out of cards.

Quest Warrior . Last Boss Toggwoggel.2 turn. Your Minions cost zero this turn into golden kobold . Fill the Board and kill an hour of my life
I had a sick big priest with 5 cost minions, double battle cry, herald volaj and kel'thuzad combo which bugged the 7th boss and made him do nothing. togwaggle got the ragnaros triple fireballs 3 times and just blasted me down.
Thank you for this video Krip :) Chose Deathrattle Rogue and ended up getting the double deathrattle treasure + Wax Rager. Nothing like a board of 5/1's that can't be removed :) First 8/8 clear!
Thank you for making this guide Kripp! I was having a hard time with Rogue till I watched this! Please make more videos like this one!
Got rogue first try thanks to you. Had 5 ayas in my deck together with the battlecry passive. Shit was fun as hell.
I went full jades with Rogue, Shaman and Druid. Was wonderful!
i did it fist run i played thief rogue and i had a lot of card generating cards, i took the 3 secrets, the oppenent minions cost +1 and what won the games was the 1 mana steal 3 opponent cards and the 4 mana adapt equal to your wins
I'd like a series like this, especially since I do Dungeon Run's so much and struggle with some classes.
5:31
More of this please.
6:14 Skipperino what are you doing bro , l feel betrayed
RIP Good Game
I hear 200HP mill rogue is aaa preeeety goood.
Mill rogue was the most fun I’ve had so far this expansion. I had 7 cold lights with double battlecry and 4 deathlords. Then I got double health and it was just EZ. I just spammed cold lights even though I was overdrawing. None of the games were even close.

7:48 "Who put that in there?"
*obnoxious, raucous laughter in the distance*
I just finished dungeon run with rogue, had battlecry and deathrattle passives with Jade/C'thun synergy + as a bonus I took 2xvanishes, 2xmurlock oracles, Valeera and a Wish. I have to say it was pretty easy, actually it was autowin vs any boss... Lucky picks
Played a mill rogue today. Double Battlecries, Cube treasure, and 6x Coldlights haha. Beat the run by milling out the Darkness, super satisfying.

Ponyfreund-Kevin How did it feel to be Grand Moff Tarkin manning the Death Star for 5 minutes?
Giancarlo Colona one word: Yessssss
I've made the ultimate reno priest
DK Anduin + Raza + Kazakus + Reno
And immediately lost cause I played Auchenai Soul and Couldn't reno
:(((((
I also had a highlander priest with those 4 legs and I annihilated Azari (100 health + reno is preeeetty good)
This style of content is great! Keep it up, Kripp!

Loved the video, definitely make this a series if you can! Big thank you to Kripp & Rania for another awesome video
I really enjoyed this video and I'm hyped for the rest of the series!

Would love to see a series of this.
Great tutorial, really needed the help on the rogue dungeon run. Warrior is pretty tough too though.

Yeah I completed rogue first try with jades, and passive were battlecry and deathrattle. I had like 4 jade spirit and 3 aya was GG
I really enjoy the intro again, Kripparian :)
Love this series keep it up man
I love these videos and love the length, keep it up!
My first 8 wins on rogue was with miracle. +6 spell damage, 2x fan of knives, 4x backstab, bag of coins, 2x auctioneer, etc
Has anybody else had the first boss that's a burglar with a coin hero power?
Dentally Challenged me, I was very surprised because I thought there were only the Dragon and the Giant rat as the first bosses but i was wrong
Yes, i got him like 3 times in a row.
Seems to be the rare one, supposedly you get better treasure from rare bosses?
trax72 the most rare is trapped room
i got just once, quite fun.
I got the unearthed raptor you start with to spawn 4 jades at one point 😂 It was ridiculous.
oh definitely do more... the krippnalysis keeps me going
Rogue was the first one I did and it seems easy to me. Priest on the hand is the only class with hunter that Im missing.
Bloodbloom + wish won my first run ez
Deffinetly make this a series !!
I played rogue to 8 wins, with +3 spellpower, and perma stealth. Had auctioneer and a bunch of things like sinister strikes and 5 copies of razorpetal volley to keep drawing into and going face
Yes, this is an amazing idea and video, please do this for ALL classes!
I beat the Rogue challenge picking mostly C'thun cards and Jade when C'thun cards weren't offered, picked double Deathrattle and +1+1 as my passives. I found Hunter to be the hardest class tbh.
I feel ya Kripp. I alrdy killed litteraly 100 bosses trying every deck rogue has. Till I got jade in every bucket as the final strategy
With almost anyclass it works when you get the passive 5 or more cost 5 and you get some big minions
you asked so my opinion: yes we need a series about this. maybe not for eauch class but rogue is not the only bad one
This series is pretty good! Could you show how you go all the way with shaman without the dobble battlecry passive? I can't seem to win when I don't get that passive. Thanks for the great content!
Please make more videos on dungeon run tips. I can get up to the final boss, but get wrecked every time.
I would love it if both videos tomorrow would be these
So I get the battlecry passive... then a jade pot, then I get the death rattle passive... and about 20 billion jade swarmer and unearthed raptors... I kinda smacked all eight bosses and the final boss was the Darkness
Already got it with a ton of jades first try. I think i had like 5 jade shurikens. Seems like i got lucky.
Yep with double battlecry easy rogue dungeon finish
my guide for rouge is pretty simple. just pick as much Jade cards as you can and if thats the case usually you can get through, passives would be +1+1 and extra 2 starting cards worked just fine for me. The other classes besides hunter are not that hard I to get the run done
Hey Kripparian, the guys here. And in this comment I just want to say thanks for the guide.
Battlecry “Fill your hand with garbage”
That right there had me ded.
I beat dungeon first time by playing jade rogue with deathrattle effects trigger twice. One of the easiest ways to play it.
I mangaged to beat the run using mill rouge, pretty lucky to draft three cold lights and a gang up
I camw 7/8 on paladin, for the one boss that upgrades a minion by 3 mana cost, as the 7th boss.
Me: I'll just pick the far right bucket
Kripp, an intellectual: you need the right balance of early and late game to defeat all the bosses
I got lucky and cleared the dungeon with mill rogue. 6 coldlights, brann, shadowstep, and violet illusionist did it for me.
I found the paladin strategy - First get the all minions +1 +1 relic, then get justicar's ring
hero power = 1 mana summon 2 2/2s
I won as a Rogue with Ixlid's HeroPower minion (stolen with Amulet of Domination). The 1 cost 1/1 which poisonous against Heroes too :'D Was fun :'D
Talks up the 1 mana 6/6 weapon. Then chooses wand instead. Am disappointed lol.
Jade druid and Pal improved hero power + silver hand cards, has been my most easy runs so far.
All you need is deathrattle and jade in rogue. You have enough early game jades to get to the end and enough value at the end with the fast jade ramp esp if u get aya.
Jade is too good
i got it done in the first run at all with two times "your minions get +1/1" and a lot of patches and stuff :D got pretty lucky i guess
Great video. I struggle with Warrior. Can you do that next? Thanks Kripp
I beat it using warrior with used spell danger and double battle cries, I used dragons and and spells to Burst them down then use the ultra wind fury weapon with heroic strike(s) to finish them
