The overheal priest is really interesting. Cards like funnel cake and snake oil actually work with pelagos, and snake oil is a free spell. Also just a 1 mana 2/2
I had no idea it even happened. HS esports used to be a huge event and very entertaining too, especially with the pioneer pros. Sad to see what has become of it. Barely generates any interest these days
It even had a decent prize pool. I knew it was happening cuz I saw it advertised on the Battlenet launcher but a 600k prize pool championship should be better advertised. I get better marketing from our $200 fighting game locals.
I mean, part of it is I have zero clue who either of these guys are. Also, if I didn't know it was worlds by the title of the video, I would assume it was some off-brand tourney with randos I couldn't give a crap about. Like the production quality is so low, and there's is no live event with the crowd going wild to hype me up.
CJkaka never belonged in the finals. He had an extremely lucky 5-win streak against statistically much stronger decks. PocketTrain said it himself - Meati's decks were highly favored to win and he just got high-rolled like crazy.
11:30 i think he freaked out and the caster also freaked out cus he was suppose to buff the 7/7 with location cus i dont think pockettrain know if the minion will equal his stat first before triggering the spell or not making it 3-3 and hit 2 for nothing and missed lethal
i 100% believe peoples perspectives change without meaning to when we can see both of their hands 😂 i'm over here like c'mon bro everybody know's thats not the right play **lights cigar on my yacht**
Great to witness that the small indie company still can't provide us with an observer mode for tournaments. After all this time? Always. Blizzard. Blizzard never changes.
Honestly this match was kinda sad and shows one thing thats wrong with HS atm Yes pockettrain made thr right plays good on him But it really feels like the choices that cjkaka made barely mattered, if at all. Did he even have any possible winning line of play in any of the games?
>skill diff for Naga DH sees Rarran (and me) calling all the plays wrong (this is the deck Rarran malds about) >skill diff for Dragon Druid sees every player calling every play Pocket Train is making half a play different (this is fair & balanced) Rarran, as with all oldheads, will not be happy even if DH is sub 40% wr.
I would love to return to Hearthstone but damn man, it requires a second mortgage to play consistently. At least in other games you can set up new formats and rules but in digital? Its not the same
CJ insisted on that Mage deck so much... He should have swaped to Druid or DH which are better decks. He needed one win to change the psychology of the game.
Dude, you need to be an announcer/commentator for these events, this was fire. Even better, use your Do You Know connections to start your own tournament, fuck yeah
world championship displayed that you can have a decent deck, know how to use it. and youll still get screwed by RNG and a fucking dragon druid player.
This wasnt a championship. This was a joke. These 2 players deserve praise for their hard work but having no back and forth and seeing these high rolls is disgusting. 3 wins seems like too little for a win. Minimum best of 7 i think is required.
not really, he had favorable match ups, got pretty good draws, and the opponent did not. so this was not never seen before, but it was still pretty unlikely
That's why card games should not have championships. They are too luck based to even feel nice about someone winning. One guy got MOST INSANE draw ever. And was able to destroy his opponnent.
I dont like the sharp shooter or the swarm druid dragon. I think those are stupid cards that cheeses wins by duing unfun stuff BUT if the oponent plays exodia i love to see them get fk no matter the cost. aganst aggro u can atleast have a bord clear vs exodia u can just throw your cards in there face and hope they die befor u have litterly 0 counterpaly
Imagine getting to the final of the biggest championship of your game and getting highrolled like this, my desk would have been found dead in Norway
Rarran casually auditioning for a commentator spot in 2024 XD
He would be really good at it
Absolutely!
There‘s likely not going to be a next World Champioship
??????????????????????????@@inosokope8543
I’m going to be real with you , he might be entertaining . . . But he has no idea what he’s talking about half the time .
The overheal priest is really interesting. Cards like funnel cake and snake oil actually work with pelagos, and snake oil is a free spell. Also just a 1 mana 2/2
It wasnt overheal priest it was Naga priest

@@TheUltimateShade667 From the advertising I saw, I thought it was only a 350k prize pool
Well it used to take skill, and they used to have production value. There's next to no choices you can even talk about in a match like this.
I was watching it live and I tought this was the qualifiers or something. The final used to be a big live event, kinda sad man
I mean, part of it is I have zero clue who either of these guys are. Also, if I didn't know it was worlds by the title of the video, I would assume it was some off-brand tourney with randos I couldn't give a crap about.

PocketTrain kinda looks like he'd be Firebat's brother.
PocketTrain thought he was competing in the World Championship for Dramatic Reactions While Winning and accidentally won the Hearthstone Championship
I'd love to see your reaction to the last game of day 1. That game was absolutely crazy.
Craziesy game of hearthstone I had ever seen
I haven't seen the games, can you tell us who were the players so I go watch? Thx
Ooo do you have a link for us lazy people?

@@Kerim_I uikyou vs cjkaka. 45min banger
I would LOVE to see you commentate a viewer tournament or a creator tournament with some sort of fun twist on deck building
That trade in the first game was to protect smaller bodies. CJ would have traded into 2/2 and pinged 2/1. That trade saved Train 2 damage.
I really liked this format! Would love more of this

The state of hs esports… they are playing the world finals in their bedrooms!
Bro Hearthstone is dead
Chaka also played a completely INSANE druid mirror game 5 at the end of Day 1. Might be worth making a video about that one too
great commentary actually, it was really fun to watch
CJ(kaka) vs (Pocket)Train
All you had to do, was beat the damn Train, CJ!
This was really fun to watch, would love to see a reaction to the Runeterra worlds as well!
3:40 Rarran, did you not play in big DH meta? like a year ago this card was everywhere
i 100% believe peoples perspectives change without meaning to when we can see both of their hands 😂 i'm over here like c'mon bro everybody know's thats not the right play **lights cigar on my yacht**
Great to witness that the small indie company still can't provide us with an observer mode for tournaments.
After all this time? Always.
Blizzard. Blizzard never changes.
You should react to some of the Legends of Runeterra Worlds 2023 too. I think this year there were some really fun decks.
He said before that his lor content isnt doing as good as the hearthstone stuff so not sure if its going to happen
13:50 FILTHY DRAW, my goodness I feel so bad for CJ. His opponent was just better smh, drew two splish-splash whelps and it’s GG
"That's why I'm a pro player baby" -Rarran "Doesn't read his cards" UA-cam Guy 2023
Loved this video, couldn''t watch the worlds this weekend and I don't really vibe with the casters. Would really like more of this.
I get the nervousness of Pockettrain with 350k to win
Rarran if blizzard will not continue with World Championship - new series - "Can You beat a pro player."
This is good. You should do more commentary!
the mage pick 3 times in a row is OD 😭
Honestly this match was kinda sad and shows one thing thats wrong with HS atm
Yes pockettrain made thr right plays good on him
But it really feels like the choices that cjkaka made barely mattered, if at all. Did he even have any possible winning line of play in any of the games?
I watched this with an spanish streamer, it was really funny
I see why the Hearthstone esport are in such massive decline.. Holy shit these are some pure BS decks.
yeah it was a paimful watch for the most part with the exception of the final day 1 game, this finals match was a good summary really
Rarran total prize pool was 350k, never saw a break down though.
Good vid, good commentation
>skill diff for Naga DH sees Rarran (and me) calling all the plays wrong (this is the deck Rarran malds about)

Rarran, as with all oldheads, will not be happy even if DH is sub 40% wr.
Congrats to the last Hearthstone World Champion.
I would love to return to Hearthstone but damn man, it requires a second mortgage to play consistently.

lil bro doing his best commentator impression
Dear Rarran you are not coping, you could be a HS Pro if you played enough with a bit of luck
Rarran cooking video when?
CJ COCKA is a GIGACHAD my man, you should watch the last game of Day 1 CJ was the best player of that day
Dude, you need to be an announcer/commentator for these events, this was fire.
Even better, use your Do You Know connections to start your own tournament, fuck yeah
He chose the Fel imp spell because it was a fel spell for sif and other cards. Come on Mr. Legend Rarran
Bro brought the 3 most cringe decks to worlds.
I understand why, but I'd be cheesed
Seeing Sif mage lose 3 games in a row in the finals just puts a smile on my face
Before big demonhunter got nerfed to the ground all fell breaks loose was playable
kinda sad hearhstone didnt even reach 10 years before it died. I blame blizzard for greedy microtransactions but im clueless
world championship displayed that you can have a decent deck, know how to use it. and youll still get screwed by RNG and a fucking dragon druid player.
lol druid is so gross man that deck is so easy to play too.
Dragon Druid is so fucking ridiculous I don’t know what they were thinking printing those cards
Comment solely for engagement purposes
Honestly for Sharpshooter, give it back its health and make it just hit minions i personally think itd be fine at that point.
Lmfaooo the mage players face after losing game 1. Man I hate that DH deck so much

hi
hate dragon golem as a card it's just not balanced.
Technically you didn't win against a world champion, because he wasn't a world champion yet. /s
soooo i havent played hs in literal years but game 1 over on turn 6, game 2&3 on turn 7.... is that normal?? like wtf games just over in 5mins
Yes, if anything kind of slow.
not really, he had favorable match ups, got pretty good draws, and the opponent did not. so this was not never seen before, but it was still pretty unlikely
Welcome to powercreep and its consequences
It can happen (and it happens with fast decks like naga DH ) but here luck played a big part
Nah, back in Gadgetzan, i've seen games end on turn 4
Que mago cansado... coitado do rapaz kkkk
300k+
I hate Tempo decks they are so boring, except mechs, you can do fun stuff with mechs
i found the stream to be unwatchable at times
That's why card games should not have championships. They are too luck based to even feel nice about someone winning. One guy got MOST INSANE draw ever. And was able to destroy his opponnent.
Imagine all the complains about Sif mage on ladder and then it gets 0-3 on worlds xD
That’s what happens when you pick Sif Mage into 3 bad matchups lol
I mean ladder and tournament are not the same at all
I dont like the sharp shooter or the swarm druid dragon.
I think those are stupid cards that cheeses wins by duing unfun stuff BUT if the oponent plays exodia i love to see them get fk no matter the cost.
