Big boss, Thank you so much for keeping Alex a fresh supply of boards to work on. Your knowledge of how every device on the planet comes apart is amazing, not to mention the fact you have to keep half a billion tiny screws organized and remember which customers device they go with! You ROCK sir!!!

I'm happy every time an Apple device is repaired, of course because their repairing polytics. And if you are the technician who does it, makes them to be ashamed because, with your knowledge, you are demonstrating them and everyone that is not necessary to change full boards to repair any of their devices. As always, congratulations.
@@paolomonai9511 there are a lot of spare parts available for repairing, but from IPhone X to now most of them are paired with the motherboard, so you can't use them without losing funcionality. I was referring to the shameful repairing way from Apple, who only offers to their users complete part replacements (or deny repairing, just what happended to LTT) instead of repairing them, and at indecent prices.
There’s a reason for that. You don’t think they know it isn’t necessary? Lmao. They would prefer to sell you a new device and then fix it themselves and sell in another mac as refurbished.
You guys are elite! Thank you for your tireless effort to help repair our Macs! I recently too had my Imac 2014 motherboard gone kaput and got it fixed in a few days! Help from repair warriors like you guys!!
Great repair, show Big Boss some love and let us see more of his work. Removing & replacing boards is not as easy as it looks. Enjoy your videos keep up the good work :)
Very nice work big boss. Its nice to watch him while he works. Alex "little helpers" are very good persons. Thank you for that. Thank you for the video. Good work alex.
Alex, the Shop's New extension area is looking very clean and neat. It must be a relief to have a little more room too move around in. Always great videos. I invariably learn something in every one of your Videos even after spending a lifetime in the Electronics Game. Thank You for sharing. It is more appreciated than you may realize.
I watch and i learn with your vidéos. Really you and electronic repair are the big boss to repairing laptop. And you help us to check our laptops . well done to you. Sorry for my bad english. i'm french.
I really like your videos, especially the ones on how to deal with certain situations. Repairmen give the best advice, both for your wallet and your life. You should make a playlist with all of those.
How do you make sure other components on the front of the board don't get desoldered while you were applying heat from the bottom? I was worried solder will liquify in one of the components on the front of the board and then fall off due to gravity.
These kinds of multilayer PCBs do not conduct heat easily. They tend to soak it up. I tried once with a UE speaker to remove a set of through-hole pins by just applying heat to one side. I ended up giving up. The PCB and lead-free solder make it very difficult.
So you remove the faulty Mosfet and replace it with a donor Mosfet. Is there no way that you can test the donor one to see if there is an equivalent new Mosfet available? The only reason i ask is it might come to a point where you have say 3 customer boards all needing the same mosfet to be replaced and only two donor boards, so one has to be unfixable. Love the channel..
Hello sir , that was awesome video also great example of team work and family should work together and always be true to each other and you see how you work will be easier and a easier great to see him use the thermal cam by himself awesome sir keep the great 👍 videos coming ?
Hi there. Have you encountered an issue wherein the usb c thunderbolt ports are not working (tested different cables and devices) but the usb ports, sd card reader, headphone jack all work?

The futher shame for Apple is the lack of parts for unauthorized repair shop and so one must rely on donor board, as Alex does...regards from Italy.
