ua-cam.com/video/KegLDJJKMbc/v-deo.html. 33 questions on your SIE!!!
I just took and passed my SIE exam today. No paid programs or textbooks for me, just the brilliant and generous minds of Dean Tinney and Ken Finnen (aka Capital Advantage Tutoring).
Just wanted to thank you both for being willing to share your incredible expertise on the subject for free. You guys rock!
Kudos on your SIE testing victory! You are not the first who has used my SIE playlist as their primary study source and made their mark. Always very gratifying when my SIE playlist contributes to testing victories like yours.
Passed my SIE yesterday and can't help but thank you for these helpful videos. Couldn't have done it without your helpful explanations and stories in real life. You are a huge help to us test takers.
Kudos on your first testing victory! What's your next testing victory? Series 6? Series 7?
@@Series7Guru series 7 now. Going through your playlist.
Just took my SIE today and passed!! Thanks Dean! All of the details in your lectures were super helpful. Onto the series 6 😁
Kudos on your first testing victory!
taking my SIE this thursday and series 7 next thursday! thank you so much for the videos. I passed this practice exam so thats a good sign! thank you Dean
Very good sign. On Thursday be confident in your answers!
Thank you so much!! This was awesome and informative!
Glad you found it helpful.
Just passed SIE! Thanks in about 90% to your content. The provider that I chose (I'll not mention them) was hot garbage at best. For those reading this and preparing for the exam, stick with Kaplan or others mentioned by Dean on this channel.
Kudos on passing your SIE exam! Your first FINRA test taking victory. Always very gratifying when my content contributes to test taking victories like yours. I am very proud of my SIE exam playlist. What's next? 6? 7?
@@Series7Guru I’m actually not 100% sure what’s next. I’m in the beginning phase of a career change and knew that SIE was needed either way.
@@noobslearn welcome to the Securities Industry!
Hello Mr. Tinney, wanted to thank you for your awesome content again and say that I find it super interesting that you used Disney's political subdivision ( Reedy Creek ) as an example for muni bond issuance and their tax implications. Apparently Disney is in hot water and the Florida gov is trying to strip away the special powers they have in Orlando. Pretty cool to get to understand the news reports about it thanks to you!
"The past is never dead. It's not even past". Guess I will have to find a new story. Lol.
Very helpful, thanks!
Glad you found it helpful.
Hey Dean, I may have missed this in the video but how do I apply for the 10% discount on the Kaplan q bank?
Guru10 discount code at checkout.
And another question I have is, would you recommend the Kaplan securitiespro qbank or the practice and mastery exam package?
I recommend all in. Mastery package.
How do you think Training Consultants practice exams compare to the actual SIE?
Thank you for your videos they have been very helpful!
I don't know. Not familiar with their content.
number 25 ive never seen before, that question is on bond yields? how do i study up on this?
Watch my lectures on bonds
DO YOU THINK KAPLAN IS THE CLOSEST IT WILL GET TO THE ACTUAL EXAM? OR DO YOU BELIEVE THE FINRA PRACTICE EXAM IS MORE ACCURATE? THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO!
Think you should do more than one exam. FINRA practice exam is excellent and so id Kaplan and TestGeek.
on question 31, legislative and regulatory are the same thing i feel. i thought it was Regulatory so im wondering the differences.
Legislaive is congress. Regulatory is not congress but maybe like an agency like EPA
Are you able to do another SIE practice exam? Or are there anymore available to watch? Taking it on 8/1😬😩😥
Have you gone over all four already?
Did you pass??
@@kingames8889 yes 11/19/23 I think
Did u just remember these questions and try to apply later? I work for Fidelity I’m getting ready to schedule mines.
@@kingames8889 oh great. Which location do you work for? And this is not an exam you can memorize. You need to understand the concept and remember definitions
Can you please explain question 27? I thought because the buy stop order was placed at 39 it would only be filled at 39 or higher, so 39, 40, 41 ...
i.e. how could it be filled at 38?
You are confusing a buy stop with a buy stop limit. This is a buy stop NOT a buy stop limit.
In a buy stop if triggered or elected it becomes a market order.
In a buy stop limit if triggered or elected becomes a limit order.
@@Series7Guru But how would this buy stop be triggered in this case?
@@rosemarini3623 that was not the question. The question was what would be acceptable if it was triggered.
@@Series7Guru Ok so in this type of question you would assume the order was triggered?
The text is really small. Can you make it larger?
Moving forward from I have made it bigger. But unfortunately this one is as is
Sorry, but you talk too much. You talk for 5 minutes, and then you talk about the answer. It is confusing.
Well good news for you. There are other channels so just change the channel. Watch some different channel. If you are confused that's on you not me and indicates you are going to fail your exam.
Wow. Yes, I will watch other channels. But, second and most important, you are obviously a grumpy childish kid. An adult, says "let me see if I can do something to improve what I am doing." But, you threw a tantrum. And I will not fail the exam. I have two masters, I know how to take a test. Yahoo.
