This was absolutely game changing! I am currently going through the SIE course with Kaplan financial-I’ve read the book cover to cover, taken their live course with an instructor, and I purchased the audiobook.
This is what really put me over the hump… Thank you for explaining the logic and thought process of every question. Half the battle is comprehension of the question and answer options. Additionally, the real world examples you give really allow me to comprehend the topic at hand. Thank you so very much.

I am so afraid about taking this test because of the wording in the questions. I feel like I’m not connecting the information that I am reading and studying with the wording of the questions in the test questions. I do better with the Kaplan test questions after each unit than I do here. I haven’t taken the Finra practice test yet. At this point I believe my last 2 weeks of study are better utilized with studying your questions of what’s the right answer and gaining extra information listening to why other choices are the wrong answer. Pray for me. My test is on the 21st of November.

@@Series7Guru I hear you say you don’t like certain questions from Kaplan. Is it the wording? Do you feel that the wording is too easy compared to the wording when the questions come from Finra?

Thanks, Dean. Test is tomorrow. I am CPA and now trying to become finra licensed (7 is next). I paused the video before you answered each question, and got an 81%. I really appreciate you contrasting how many of the questions could be different based on the different product, rule, definition, etc. Hoping for a "dream draw" tomorrow.

@@Series7Guru I passed. It was a little easier than I thought it was going to be. This video was the perfect wrap up the day before the test. Candidates have to read the text, hammer questions and watch their providers videos, but this explication was a nice summary of the key items.
As far as questions go, I received a lot of questions regarding what reps can't do (prohibited activities). Part 3 (Understanding Trading, Customer Accounts and Prohibited Activities) seemed to be a large portion of the test. "Products" questions were skin deep. I barely remember any of them because I could answer most of them before I even read the 4 choices. I remember having 2 stock split (forward and reversing) and 2 options questions.
With that being said, there wasn't anything on the test that wasn't covered well in Kaplan. Their on-demand videos in particular were excellent. I played them on my iphone (safari) at 1.25-1.5x speed. I couldn't get them to play faster on any other device or browser.

This is definitely the best of the practice tests I've found online, do you know what there are similar tests for the series seven and 66?
Not from the regulators but there are plenty on my channel in the playlist for those Series exams.

I didn't click because I was not trying to provide an answer key. I didn't miss any questions and knew I didn't miss any questions. All my answers are correct.

When the exam say the products and their risk on the sie is 44% (33 questions) and open accounts is 31% was these areas you heavily focused on?

Dean is it ok if I am taking these practice exams from you before i've complete all of the material on pass perfect. I just want to allow myself enough preparation time and want to get in test taking mode. I know you said we should be taking these practice exams throughout our studying. I have completed the first two sections on pass perfect up to Customer Accs. I basically have regs, and suitability left.
I would suggest transitioning to practice test towards the end of your study plan. In the beginning of your study plan should be laying base knowledge.

Hi Dean just came across your channel. I am hired through edward jones and i failed my SIE 1st attempt 61% no finance background. Hired a tutor and she recommended your videos. Kaplan Qbank seems to be very wordy and confusing. I use STC through our study program with EJ. Do you have any advice passing the 2nd time, otherwise we get cut loose of our job? do you happen to offer any tutoring. I do love your videos...
There are many who miss the mark the first time and make their mark the second time so try not to be anxious in executing your study plan for your second attemot.
There are plenty of resources in the SIE playlist. They are in watch order. After you have done that circle back.
Did you do a class? I always recommend a class before tutoring.

A round lot is 100 shares. So 25 round lots is 2,500 shares and 10 round lots is 1,000 shares.
