Your voice is amazing! Not just anyone could read with this much emotion. I always look forward to your readings. It makes a lonely night very comfortable. I also enjoy the opening statement: " You fool! Warren is dead!" Those ending words from one of the earlier stories Are quite impressive.
The statement of Randolph Carter is the story. My cats agree enfatically with you. When Ian isn't speaking it's possible I am fell upon by a gang of malevolent felines bent on destruction. When he is speaking, I have a calm pleasant day with little possibility of harm. It is like magic. Most valuable channel on UA-cam
Can you imagine the damage one would sustain if they dove into a silo's worth of assorted change. A roll of quarters can be deadly. Billions in cugurands would mangle you so bad, they would find more of Warren than you. And the dive wasperformed from a board located dozens of meters above the ground so the living would certainly cash out post gainer. Lol. Somehow it didn't seem weird as a kid
I’m impressed with the quality of Mr. Ewen Whyte’s (pseudonym?) writing…..(Almost equally impressive is Mr. Gordon’s concise, staccato-like interpretation of the mind of a killer-bringing such little-known authors before a wider audience)….
I am rarely so fortunate as to read back-to-back short story gems-but the pathos & wisdom “reveal” by Mr. Gordon’s protagonist (at the conclusion of “Killer View” ) easily makes it the stand-out offering amongst an inferior field….
Love these stories! Horace remains awesome! Fantastic narration! I chuckle every time you say "bah", "for the love of God," or "nonsense." You say it perfectly. Great job to you and Jen. I have listened to these before on your channel, but one can never get enough of these excellent stories! It is great to listen to while doing weekend chores. Thanks!
So the first guy saved him every time they met? If so i guess its an ok story... but if he was simply rushing for 10yrs or whatever to meet him that final time then yes lame story.
Well done, Mr. Gordon. An excellent narration including Edgar Allen Poe. Bless you and thank you. Until next time.
I've always loved Man in a Hurry for some reason. Happy to see it come around again 😁
Stranger at Dusk really is an amazing tale with a satisfying ending.
That first story was fantastic! We're all lucky to have such a wonderful narrator available to us at a moments notice.

Falling asleep to these always gives me weird and fantastical dreams. Thank you for helping me sleep and for giving me cool dreams!
A very fine collection, and well read, as always, Mr. Gordon!
Excellent collection, thanks!
Blimey! Thanks, Alf!
Perfect timing. Will be settling down with a g and t and some wonderfully narrated stories. Thank you.
Absolutely loved hearing "Man In A Hurry". Such a great little story.
YES 🎉
It raises the rather disturbing concept that we're all in a race to meet our destinies.
@@paladin56But! If you're able to fulfill that destiny, you can be like the hurrying man and have that weight off your shoulders.
I thought the title said Duck Tales
;) Maybe it is Darkwing Duck?
Great Saturday am viewing that

We all see what we want to see. ;)
Legend has it that Warren is alive and well as he only went through a secret door.
He dead
Thank you, Ian. I'm really looking forward to listening!
Thanks in advance for this. I had had to do some catching up, so finally up to date. Thanks for this collection of tales.
Such a great gift right as the weekend begins....gonna put some earbuds in and go for a nice long motorcycle ride out in the country.

Thank you! I wish Whyte had written more. Perhaps he did? We'll probably never know.

And thank you again! Killer View is one my better offerings, I think. Much appreciated.
Thanks, Horror Babble, for this lot of eerie stories. They were a great way to spend time with.
I was once, many decades haunted by my brothers Rally 200 Vespa!

15! Ian, you are too kind to us, mate, I’m all in for this. I am submerging; nobody should expect me for the next four.hours and change.
Perfect narration as usual! And I really enjoy your musical intros/closings; love just listing to Exercises in Audible Dread!
Thanks, I sleep very well after listening to your narrations! It became kind of a habit for me, really 👍
Excellent. Thanks for putting this together.
