This is so like traditional Irish dancing. The way they hold themselves, their arm movements and the steps. The Ulster Scots would seem to be responsible for bringing Irish Dancing across the Atlantic. Well done ladies, it was great.
@John Bold Clogging comes from dancing in clogs (English Clogs) with leather uppers and wooden soles, the everyday wear in Northern England, it started in the 17th-18th century mill towns with girls tapping their clogs to the beat of the looms this turned into competition, they took it to the Appalachians with them that's why it's called 'clogging' in Appalachia, every area of England had it's own step dance, every inn had a plate to step on, and still done in England today.
Is that jessica white ? Why heck yeah. She grew up into a dandy. I remember going to school with her, though I remember her being kinda shy. Glad to see that y'all are keeping the tradition alive. God bless ya. And you got my support. James Robinson

Nothing to do with Ireland, it's English.
@John Bold English settlers took clogging to the Appalachians.
@John Bold There's no tradition of the Irish wearing clogs?
